This pr essure washer ope rates at a ma ximum of 3,200
PS I (221 BAR) at a fl ow rate of up to 2.4 gallons (9.0 I)

Assembly
~ Read entire operator's manual before you attempt to
,_, assemble or operate your new pressure washer.
Your pressure washer requires some assembly and is
ready for use after it has been properly serviced with the
recommended oil and fuel.

I. Remove the parts bag, accessories, and inserts
included with pressure washer.
2. Open carton completely
by cutting each corner from
top
to bottom.
3. Ensu re you have all inc luded items prior to assembly.

1. Place handle (A) onto handle supports connected to
main unit. Make
su re holes in handle a li gn with holes
on handle supports.
2. Inse
rt carriage bolts (B) through holes from inside
of un it and attach a plastic knob (C) from outside of
unit. Tighten
by hand.
3. Place accessory tray (D) over hol es (E) on handle
(viewing from front of unit). Push tree clips (F) into
the holes unt il they sit flat against the accessory tr ay.
4. Attach rope guide (G) through handle with pl as t ic
knob (H ). Tighten by hand. Route engine recoil rope
through guide.
5. Squeeze hose hook wireform (J) together and insert
into grooves
at bottom of accessory tray.

Add Engine Oil an d Fuel
• Place pressure washer on a level surface.
• Refer to engine operator's manual and follow oil and
fuel recommendations and instructions.
NO TI CE Any attempt to crank or start the engine before
it has been properly fil led with the recommended oil will
resu lt in equipment failure.

NOTICE Check oil often dur ing engine break-in. Refer to
engine operator's manual for recommendations.
Assembly
Lubricate 0-R ings
Lubrication of c:rrings is extremely important for
insta
ll ation and operation. The use of a lubricant
(petroleum or synthetic grease) during assembly helps seat
o-rings properly and provides an improved seal.
II also
helps protect the o-ring from damage by abrasion, pinching
or
cutting and extends the life of the o-ring.
NOTICE ALWAYS apply a sma ll amount of lubricant on
o-rings prior to assembling the garden hose
to the pump
(A), high pressure hose (B), spray gun (C
), and nozzle
extension (D).
Lu bri cate a ll co nnections shown , following these instructi ons :
1. Inspect and cl
ean connecting surfaces pr ior to
l ubr ication and assembly.
2. Use lubricants sparingly
du ring assembly; a light fi lm
is all that is required.
3. U se a sma ll brush or cotton swab to apply grease
directly
to o-rings where th ey are not accessible (QC
fitting, M22 fitting).

I. Uncoil high pressu re hose and attach one end of hose
to base of spray gun , Tighten by ha nd.

2. Attach other end of high pressure hose to hi gh
pressure outlet on pump. Tighten by hand.

clean out
any debri s.

4. Before connecting

NOTICE Using a One Way Valve (vacuum breaker or check
valve) at pump inlet could ca u se pump or Inlet connector
dam
age.
• There MUST be al l east lD II. (3 m) of u nr est r icted ga r den
hose between the pr essure washer inlet and any device, suc h
as a vacuum breake r or check valve.
o Damage to equipment r esu lting from fa i lure to follow th is

5. Connect the garde n hose (not to exceed 50 fl. (15 m)
In length) to the wate r inlet. Tigh te n by ha nd.

1. Be s ur e to read Operator Safety and Operation be f ore
us ing pressu re was h er.
2. Ma ke su re h and le is in place and secu r e.
3. Check that oil has been added to proper l eve l in the
engine cran kcase.
4. Add prope r f ue l to f ue l tank.
5. Check fo r pr ope rl y tightened hose co nnecti ons.
6. Check to ma ke sure there are no kin ks, cuts, or
d amage to high pr essu re hose.
7. Pr ov ide a proper water supply at an adeq uate flow.

To start you r pr essure washer for the first time, fo ll ow
these Instructions step-by- step. This starting information

l. Place pr essure washer nea r an outside water sou r ce
capab le of supplying water at a flow rate greater than
3.4 ga ll ons (12.87 I) per minute and no less than
20 PS I (1.3 BAR) at pressure washer end of garden
hose . DO NOT siphon supply water.
2. Check that high pressure hose is tightly con nected to
spray gun a nd pump. See Assemblysection.
3. Make su re un it is in a l eve l posit ion .
4. Connect garden hose to water inlet on pressure washer
pump.

pressure washer. Keep li nk11ge, sp ring and controls clean.
Keep area around and behind muffler free fr om any
combustible debris. Inspect cooling air slots
and openings

clean
and unobstructed.
Pressure washer parts should be kept clean to reduce the

push no more than l/8". Sl ig ht pressure may be
required to free the ball.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 if nece ssary.
7. Reinstall dete rgent hose onto barb fitting.
8. Treat with Pump Saver as desc ribed in Protecting the
Pump duri ng storage to prevent reoccurrence.

Examine t he hose connection to t he spray gun and make
sure it is secure . Test the trigger by press ing t he red
button and mak in g su re the tr igger "springs back" into
place
when you release it. You should not be able to press
the tri gger without pressing the red button. Replace spray
gun immediately if it fa ils any of these tests.
Sp ray Ti p Ma in t enance
A pulsing sensat i on fe lt while squeez ing t he spray gun
trigger may be caused by excessive pump press u re . The
princi pa l cause of excessive pump pressure is a spray tip
clogged or rest ricted with foreign materi als, such as dirt,
etc. To correct the problem, imr nediately cle an the spray
tip following these instruct ions:

There
is no need to drain gaso li ne from the engine if a
fuel stabilizer is added according
to in st ru ctio ns. Run the
engine for 2 minutes to circulate the stabilizer throughout
the fuel
sys tem before storage.
If gasoline in the engine has not been treated with a fuel
stab
il izer, it must be drained into an approved container.
Run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel. The use of
a fuel stabilizer in the storage container is recommended
to maintain
fr es hn ess.
