TCI Mul Quick Start Guide
Connecng the TCI, Entering Jobs & Pairing with the WrenchStar Mul
Connecng the TCI
Connect the TCI Mul’s Power Cable - the TCI should
automacally light up to show the unit is powered.
Connect the crossover Ethernet cable to the port on the
back of the TCI Mul and your computer.
Ensure your computer is not connecng to any Wi-Fi
connecons but is connected to the internet via a
local area connecon, via an addional ethernet cable.
On your computer, go to Control Panel>Network and
Internet>Network and Sharing Center.
Click on ‘Local Area Connecon’
Click on ‘Properes’ and then on the listed items, double
click on ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Ensure that ‘Use the following IP address:’ is selected and
in the IP address secon, enter the TCI Mul’s default IP
address (192.168.0.101) but change the nal digit so it is
one lower, to 100, to avoid an inial conict of IP address.
Now open up a Google Chrome web browser, and in the
address bar, enter the actual TCI Mul’s default IP address,
which is 192.168.0.101
The TCI Mul’s web page will then load, click on the ‘TCI
Network Sengs’ tab at the top of the page.
The TCI Mul’s web page will then load, login using
password ‘Admin’, click on the ‘TCI Network Sengs’ tab
at the top of the page.
Click ‘Change Network Sengs’ and manually change the
nal 3 digits of the IP address to a new IP Address that you
will use for the TCI Mul and click ‘Submit’.
Now type this new IP address, into the address bar and hit
enter, to return to the TCI Mul page on the now correct
IP address.

If at any point during the set-up process you need to
restart, press and hold down the blue buon on the front
of the unit for 30 seconds, once the lights all ash, release
and press the blue buon once to reset.

Entering Jobs
Click on the ‘Jobs’ tab on the main navigaon menu
across the top, then click ‘Add’.
Here you must enter the details for the job. The
ID number, the Batch size and the Torque Minimum,
Target and Maximum levels are required elds.
Then click ‘Submit’.
Pairing the TCI Mul with the WrenchStar Mul(s)
Click on the ‘Wrench Status’ tab on the main
navigaon menu at the top.
Under the ‘Get results from transducer’ and ‘Pair TCI
with transducer’ drop down menu’s, ensure the
number relates to the number of the wrench that
you are pairing to the TCI Mul. e.g. if this is the rst
wrench to be paired, select number 1, if it is the
secnd wrench to be paired, select number 2.
Ensure the WrenchStar Mul is in ‘Pair’ mode by
holding down the blue buon on the wrench unl
the LED light turns purple.
Underneath the ‘Pair TCI with transducer’ drop down
menu, click ‘Pair’ and the wrench should connect,
which is conrmed by the LED light turning blue on
the wrench and also on the corresponding wrench
number on the front of the TCI.
Loading the Jobs to the Wrench
Click back onto the ‘Jobs’ tab in the top navigaon
menu.
Ensure that the correct transducer number is
selected e.g. Transducer 1 for Wrench 1.
Ensure the correct job is selected and click ‘Load’ to
load this job onto the wrench.
