Important Safety Information
• Do not use the hearphones while operating a motorised vehicle as it can
pose a danger to other motorists, pedestrians or yourself.
• Be alert and careful when using the hearphones outdoor.
• Do not listen with the hearphones at excessive volume levels, prolonged
exposure can cause hearing damage.

Getting Started
Congratulations on selecting Creative Aurvana X-Fi Headphones from Creative Labs.
With advanced active noise canceling and enhanced with X-Fi features, you can
significantly block out ambient noise while experiencing an exceptional listening
experience.

쐇Left (L) and right (R) markings.
쐋Active Noise Cancellation and X-Fi enhancement controls. Push to activate - blue indicator lights up.
쐏Battery compartment.
쐄Acoustic grille housing a microphone for noise cancellation function.
쐂Power on/off switch. Blue indicator lights up when powered on. It blinks when battery level is low.
Power off to enjoy unprocessed audio in bypass mode.
쐆Rotating earcups.
쐊Detachable input cable. The L-shaped plug connects to your audio source.
쐎Extension audio cable.
쐅Airplane adapter.
쐈2 AAA alkaline batteries.

Using Your Headphones
쐃Inserting and Replacing Batteries.

Tilt the left earcup flat to access the battery compartment.

Slide the battery compartment door out and lift it up.

Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Follow the battery orientation as shown in the compartment.
쐇Plug in the detachable input cable. Connect the other end of the cable to your audio source.
You can omit this step if you intend to use the headphones to just cancel out surrounding noise
during air travel.
쐋Power on the headphones.
쐏Locate the left (L) and right (R) markings before putting on the headphones. Adjust the headband
height if necessary.
쐄Adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
Caution: excessive volume level for a prolonged period can cause permanent hearing damage!
쐂Turn on either Noise Cancellation (NC), X-Fi Crystalizer or X-Fi CMSS-3D to enhance your listening
experience. You can activate these concurrently.
Aurvana X-Fi makes use of advanced phase canceling to significantly reduce ambient noise while preserving
the timbre and quality of the original source. X-Fi Crystalizer dramatically restores the quality of compressed
audio tracks such as MP3 or poorly mastered CDs. X-Fi CMSS-3D delivers a more natural audio playback.
Note that the playback may sound unnatural if the audio source has been pre-processed with X-Fi or other
audio enhancements when used with the headphones’ X-Fi features. We recommend that you turn off any
audio enhancements other than those on the headphones.
Maintenance and Care
쐃Replace batteries when the Power indicator blinks. You can still enjoy unprocessed audio playback
by powering off the headphones (audio bypass mode).
쐇Wipe the headphones and earpads with a damp cloth regularly to keep the headphones in pristine
condition.
쐋Fold and store the headphones in the supplied travel case when it is not in use for a long duration.

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
