The Crestron Ultimate subwoofer made by Origin Acoustics
delivers the pinnacle of performance for demanding
residential installations.
The ULTIMATEASUB10-B-T-EACH is an active subwoofer
designed to produce deep, gratifying bass in demanding audio
and home theater applications. High-end composition
complements other Crestron Ultimate and Reference
speakers, offering easy installation and a sleek, unobtrusive
form factor. Designed for installation in living spaces, the
ULTIMATEASUB10-B-T-EACH can be hidden behind furniture,
wall-mounted, or placed behind an entertainment unit using
the included feet — the shallow depth of the subwoofer makes
installation extremely flexible. The subwoofer is provided with
a rectangular grille, wall mounting hardware, and rubber feet
for floorstanding installations.

Controls and Indicators
Power LED (1) LED. White indicates that the
subwoofer is switched on. Red indicates
that the subwoofer is in standby mode,
either when the signal is below the wake
threshold for 23 minutes (if the
subwoofer is set to Auto On) or if the
Trigger input is not receiving a +12V signal
(if the subwoofer is set to Trigger). No
light indicates that the subwoofer is off
and that there is no power from the
power supply or that the Power switch is
off.
Power Switch Switch to turn power ON and OFF.
LFE/NAX and
Crossover Switch
In LFE/NAX mode, the crossover is set on
the AV receiver, which then sends low
pass filtered audio to the subwoofer.
In Crossover mode, use the Crossover
knob to adjust the crossover point.

Auto On/Trigger
Switch
In Auto mode, the subwoofer's internal
amplifier is automatically turned on when
an audio signal is detected at the Line In
input. When there is no signal for 23
minutes, the internal amplifier goes into
standby mode.
In Trigger mode, the internal amplifier is
automatically turned on if a 12V signal is
detected from the 12V Trigger Input.
Polarity Switch When set to 0°, the input signal polarity is
maintained at the subwoofer's output.
When set to 180°, the input signal polarity
is inverted at the subwoofer's output.
Volume Knob Use the knob to adjust the subwoofer’s
volume. Turn it fully clockwise for full
volume.
Crossover Knob Use the knob to set the highest bass
frequency from 50 to 175 Hz. In a stereo
system, set the knob as near as possible
to the speakers' lowest bass extension.
