Unpacking
Whenunpacking,checkthepartsdiagramandpartsnumberlistingtomakesurethatallparts
areincluded.Ifanypartofthetoolismissingorbroken,pleasecontactCRLCustomerServicefor
instructions.
1.TheBatteryPackrequirescharging.Thefirstchargerequires5hourschargingtimepriortousing
theCaulkingGun.
2.WhentheBatteryPackrequiresre-charging,3to5hourschargeallowsthetooltooperateatfull
power.Donotre-chargetheBatteryPacklongerthan5hours,asdamagetotheBatteryPack
and/orChargerwilloccur.
3.InserttheBatteryPackintothechargingsocketoftheCharger.Then,plugtheChargerintothe
nearestgroundedelectricaloutlet.
4.BoththegreenlightandredlightontheChargerwillautomaticallyturnon,indicatingtheCharger
hasswitchedtothechargemode.
5.TheBatteryPackwillbefullychargedinapproximately5hours.Boththegreenandredlights
willstillbeon.RemovetheBatteryPackfromtheCharger,anddisconnecttheChargerfromits
electricaloutlet.
NOTE: ThetemperatureoftheBatteryPackmayincreaseduringuseandshortlyafteruse.
TheBatteryPackmaynotacceptafullchargeifitischargedimmediatelyafteruse.Allowthe
BatteryPacktocooltoroomtemperaturebeforechargingforbestresults.

4. Toavoiddamageofcableandplug,neverpullonthecabletodisconnecttheCharger.
5. DonotusetheChargerifthecableorplugaredamaged.
6. Repairsshouldonlybecarriedoutbyexperts.
7. Donottouchthebatterypoleswithanyconductivesource.
8. DonotstoretheBatteryPackinaboxwithothermetalobjects.
9. DonotthrowtheBatteryPackinafire.Disposeoforrecycleproperly.

Operation
Toinstallatubeofsealantfollowthestepsshownbelow:
1.RemovetheBatteryPackfromthegunhousing.
2.Depresstheplungerreleaseswitchandpullbackon
theplungeruntilitstopsattheTubeHolderCap(#30).
3.UnscrewtheTubeHolderCover(#31).
4.PutthenewsealanttubeintotheAluminumTubeHolder(#32).
5.Cuttipofcartridgenozzletodesiredwidth.
6.TightlyscrewontheTubeHolderCover(#31).
7.PutthebatteryintotheGunHousing(#2).
8.ToactivatethegundepresstheTriggerSwitch(#4).
9.Tostoptheflowofsealant,releasethetrigger.Flowwillslowoncetriggerisreleased.
TocompletelystoptheflowslightlyloosentheTubeHolderCover(#31).Ifdesired,
pushPlungerReleaseSwitch(#33)forwardandretractPlunger(#28).
10.Whenfinishedusingthegun,alwaysfullychargetheBatteryPackbeforethenextuse.
11. AlwaysremovetheBatteryPackbeforemakinganyadjustmentstothegun.

Maintenance
1. Whenfinishedusingthegun,alwaysremovetheTubeHolder(#31)andtheTubeHolderCap(#30).
2. RegularlyinspectscrewsandTubeHolderCaptoassurethattheyareproperlytightened.
3. KeeptheTubeHolder(#31)andPistonJoint(#18)cleanandinproperworkingorder.
4. AlwaysreleasetheForwardingShaft(#27)backtothecorrectpositionafteruse.
5. Keepmotorairventscleanofdustanddebris;vacuumperiodically.
6. Ifthetoolisnotoperatingnormally,makingunusualnoises,orappearsdefective,
stopusingitimmediatelyandhaveitrepairedbyaqualifiedtechnician.
7. Cleantoolwithadampclothandlightdetergent.Donotusesolventsas
theycandamageandcracktheplasticparts.
