IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
observedincludingthefollowing:
-Beforeconnectingyourequipment,checkifvoltageofyourpowersystem
correspondstothesamespecifiedontheappliance.
-Toprotectagainstriskofelectricalshock,donotputcord,plug,baseinwateror
otherliquids.
-Neverconnecttwoormoreappliancesinthesameplug.
-Whennotinuse,unplugtheequipment.
-Avoidstartingequipmentwithoutthealuminiumknee(drawingn.7)inplace.
-Avoidcontactwithmovingpartsbecausebladeissharp."Handle
carefully".
-Keephandsandutensilsoutofthekneewhilecrushingtopreventthe
possibilityofseverepersonalinjuryandordamagetoequipment.Aplastic
spatulamaybeusedbutonlywhenelectricmotoris"NOT RUNNING".
-Foranymaintenanceunplugtheequipmentforpoweroutlet.
1-Checkifthe aluminium knee iscorrectlyandfirmlyassembledontheflange(n.1)andif
the three screws (n.11) are well tighten in the existing chanel of the flange (n.1) keeping
thekneeverywellfixed.
2-DONOTINTRODUCEYOURHANDINTOTHEKNEE.RISKOFSERIOUSINJURIES.
OPERATION
-This isaequipment projected tocrushice rocks.Youcan have goodresultsin other kindof
application.
-Breakthebigicerocksinsizethatyoucanintroduceintotheknee.
-Placearecipientunderthekneeoutlet.
- Turn on the equipment, lift up the arm(n.8) and introduce the pieces of ice.As the inside of
thekneeisfilled,lowerdownthearmtoforcetheicerockstowardstheblade.
-Iftheelectricmotorstops,alleviatetheforceonthearmtopermitthemotortorunagain.
-Donotleavetheequipmentrunningwithoutanattendant.
-Usetheequipmentonlyonplainandstablesurfaces.
NEVER TOUCH THE BLADE EVEN IF THE EQUIPMENT IS TURNED OFF.
CLEANING
-Cleaningshouldbedonedaily,aftertheuse.Foruseonlywithice,dryitwithasoftcloth.
-Ifotherproductsareused,cleantheequipment witha wetclothanddryitlater.
-To disassemble the knee, unplug the equipment from power outlet and loosen the three
screws(n.11).Thekneecannowberemovedandimmerseinwaterforeasycleaning.
MAINTENANCE
-Keepyourequipmentalwayscleanandreadyforuse.Ananualrevisionisrecommended.
