Important Safety Cautions
Carefully read all the instructions before using the appliance and
keep in a safe place for future reference.
Always follow these safety cautions when using this appliance to avoid
personal injury or damage to the appliance. This appliance should be
used only as described within this instruction book. There is a risk of
injury if the product is misused.
nThis appliance is for domestic use only and is not intended to be used
in applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments; farm houses; by customers in hotels, motels
and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type
establishments.
nCare should be taken during use and cleaning.
nCaution: The blades are very sharp. Handle with care.
nThe appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer
or separate remote control system.
nThis appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
nChildren should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with this product.
nThis appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and
power adapter out of reach of children during and after use.
nAlways inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of damage.
Do not use if damaged, or if the appliance has been dropped. In the event
of damage, or if the appliance develops a fault, contact the Cuisinart
Customer Care Line (refer to “UK After Sales Service section” for further
information).
nDo not use the appliance if the lead is damaged. In the event of lead
damage, discontinue use immediately. If the lead is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer. Return the appliance to the Customer Care
Centre (refer to ‘UK After Sales Service’ section for further information).
No repair must be attempted by the consumer.

nNever pull the plug out of the mains socket by the lead.
nDo not wrap the lead around the main body of the appliance during or
after use.
nThe appliance is safe to be left plugged into the electrical supply when
not in use to ensure the batteries are always charged. It should however
be unplugged before assembling, disassembling, cleaning or if not being
used for a prolonged period of time.
nThis product contains a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery pack that is
not to be removed from the appliance for charging. The batteries in this
appliance are non-replaceable.
nThe supply terminals are not to be short circuited.
nWARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the
detachable charging supply unit provided with this appliance (model
C050100-EU/BS). This symbol indicates there is a detachable
power supply for means of charging.
nThis product complies fully with all appropriate EU and UK legislation
and the standards relevant to this type and class of appliance. We are an

nNever place the blade directly on the motor of the housing base. Always
ensure the bowl is in place.
nBefore switching on the processor, ensure that the blade is locked into
place on the motor spindle (taking care to avoid the sharp edges), and
that the lid is correctly fitted. Do not force or block the lid mechanism.
nAlways carefully insert the blade before adding ingredients.
nTake extra care if using the appliance to process hot liquids. A build up
of steam could cause liquid to be ejected from the appliance.
nAlways wait for the blade to stop before removing the lid.
nAlways remove the bowl from the motor base very carefully, before
removing the blade.
nNever leave the appliance unattended when switched on or plugged in.
nKeep hands, spatulas and other utensils away from moving blades whilst
appliance is in operation. Only use the spatula once the processor motor
has stopped.

nDisconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or
removing it from the blades.
nThe charger should be plugged into an electrical socket away from a sink
or any hot surface.
nDo not use an extension cord. Plug the charger directly into an electrical
socket.
nDo not charge the unit using an outdoor socket.
nTo protect against electrical shock, do not put the main unit in water or
other liquids.
nWARNING: Polythene bags over the product or packaging
may be dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep away
from babies and children. These bags are not toys.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
To minimise hazards to health and the environment at the end of this
product’s life, laws dealing with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) and The Waste Battery Directive require you to dispose of this
product at a suitable collection facility where it will be sent in order to
remove the batteries and for appropriate recycling. Please contact your
local authorities for more details on recycling and safe disposal of these in
your area.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this
product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it should be
handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly,
you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment
and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate
waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about the
recycling of this product, please contact your local council office or your
household waste disposal service.

Safety During Use
Before first use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels
or stickers from the Mini Prep Pro.
nHandle the blade with extreme care, the blades are very sharp.
nOnly use the appliance on a solid, level work surface.
nUse the unit only for its intended use as described in this manual.
nThe charger should be plugged into an electrical socket away from a sink
or any hot surface.
nDo not use an extension cord. Plug the charger directly into an electrical
socket.
nDo not charge the unit using an outdoor socket.
nTo protect against electrical shock, do not put the main unit in water or
other liquids.

Instructions for Use
Before use
A. Charging Your Cordless Mini Prep Pro
The batteries in your Cordless Mini Prep Pro have not been fully charged.
Before using, the batteries must be charged until all three blue lights are
illuminated. With a full charge, your Cordless Mini Prep Pro will run for
approximately 15 minutes, depending on your recipe. Your Cordless Mini
Prep Pro will be fully charged in approximately 2 hours.
N.B. To charge the product, insert the micro USB end, of charging lead,
into the charging port at the back of the main unit. Plug the USB end
directly into the adapter plug and then into a mains supply outlet.
Battery Life Indicator Lights
The indicator lights will flash blue when the battery is being charged. When
all three lights are illuminated, this means the battery is fully charged and
is then ready to use. As the battery starts to run down, the indicator lights
will turn off. The battery will need to be recharged when the last indicator
light is flashing. If the battery has completely run down on the unit, it will
not operate.
B. Fitting and removing the parts
nPlace the housing base on a flat, dry stable surface.
nPlace the work bowl over the motor base, with the handle facing forward
and positioned slightly to the left of the control panel (the bowl will slot
onto the base).
nTurn the bowl in an clockwise direction until it locks into position on
the housing base.
N.B. The work bowl must be securely locked into position. The bowl
will be in the correct position once the handle is central to the control
panel.
nCarefully lift the blade assembly, holding the central plastic stem and
place over the motor spindle. Push the blade down until it clicks into
place. The lower part of the blade assembly should almost touch the
bottom of the work bowl.
N.B. Always hold the blade assembly from the plastic stem. Never touch
