Hints & Tips
nThe following table highlights the general grind settings required for basic types of
coffee. As there are 6 settings per grind type, you will have to experiment with different
grind settings to determine the right consistency to suit your taste.
nWhen choosing fine settings, you may need to set the cup selector at a higher number
of cups to get the desired amount of coffee, as fine grinds are very compact.
nWhen choosing coarse settings, you may need to set the cup selector at a lower
number of cups to get the desired amount of coffee, as coarse grinds are very loose.
nYou may also vary the strength of the coffee by increasing or decreasing the quantity
of cups, i.e. select a greater quantity than actually required for a stronger flavour and
vice versa.
Cleaning &Maintenance
nAlways ensure the plug has been removed from the mains before cleaning.
nThe bean hopper and grind chamber are dishwasher safe, and we recommend washing
them on the top rack of the dishwasher. Due to high water temperature, washing these
parts on the bottom rack may cause damage over time.
nNever immerse the housing base in water or other liquid.
nDo not use abrasive cleaners on the housing base. To clean, simply wipe with a damp
cloth and dry thoroughly. Apply any cleaning agent to the cloth, not directly to the
housing base.
nUse the cleaning brush provided to clean the grind release area.
nUse the cord wrap on the underside of the housing base to store excess cord.
