LEBENSDAUER
• Laden Sie die Hydrosonic «Black Is White» vor dem
Erstgebrauch komplett auf.
• Die optimale Ladezeit dess Akkus beträgt ca. zehn
Stunden.
• Laden: Die Hydrosonic «Black Is White» in das La-
degerät stellen und ans Netz anschliessen. Dazu den
USB-Anschluss des Ladegeräts mit dem USB-Netzste-
cker und diesen mit dem Netz verbinden. Auch über
den USB-Anschluss eines Laptops oder Computers
auadbar.
Reinigen, ohne Anpressdruck: Die Filamente überneh-
men die Arbeit, einfach ruhig halten, ohne Anpressdruck,
nach zwei bis drei Sekunden zum nächsten Zahn.
Nach dem Zähneputzen: Bürstenkopf abspülen und
abziehen. Oder einfach drauassen. Vorsicht, nicht
abknicken.
DIE STUFEN: START,
CLEAN, SMILE
Beim Einschalten startet die Hydrosonic in der zuletzt
gewählten Stufe.
• Das unterste LED leuchtet: Die Stufe «start» mit 22’000
Bewegungen pro Minute fördert die Durchblutung des
Zahneisches. Diese Stufe eignet sich auch, um sich an
das leichte Kitzeln der Schallzahnbürste zu gewöhnen.
• Das mittlere LED leuchtet: Die Stufe «clean» mit
32’000 Bewegungen pro Minute entfernt Zahnbelag
und Bakterien optimal.
• Das oberste LED leuchtet: Stufe «smile» mit 42’000
Bewegungen pro Minute empehlt sich für besonders
sensible Zähne und empndliches Zahneisch.
Jede Stufe sorgt für eine sehr gute Zahnreinigung –
in den Stufen «clean» und «smile» nicht nur mechanisch,
sondern zusätzlich auch hydrodynamisch.

• Ladestand kontrollieren: Hydrosonic «Black Is White»
vom Ladegerät nehmen oder ausschalten.
• Vollständig geladen: Alle LEDs leuchten.
• Zur Häle geladen: Die unteren beiden LEDs leuchten.
• Weniger als 20 % geladen: Die unterste LED leuchtet
rot statt pink.
• Voll aufgeladen, hält der Akku gute 60 Minuten,
das sind etwa zwei Wochen Zähneputzen bei vier
Minuten pro Tag.
• TIPP: Extra lange Lebensdauer: Das Gerät jeweils erst
wieder auaden, wenn der Batteriestatus unter 20 %
gefallen ist (unterste LED leuchtet rot statt pink).
• HINWEIS: Die Reinigungsleistung ist unabhängig vom
Ladestand. Die Hydrosonic «Black Is White» reinigt
also bei niedrigem Ladestand genauso gut wie bei voll
geladenem Akku.
• ACHTUNG: Zur Reinigung Handstück und Ladegerät
mit einem feuchten Tuch sauber reiben. Auf keinen Fall
mit iessendem Wasser.

DIE BEWEGUNG:
HIN UND HER
Unsere Mundgesundheitspros empfehlen eine einfache
horizontale Hin- und Herbewegung, möglichst ohne
Anpressdruck. Das hat drei Vorteile: Sie schont den
Zahneischsaum. Sie pegt ihn besonders gut.
Und sie führt neben der mechanischen zusätzlich zur
hydrodynamischen Reinigung.
Hydrodynamik: turbulent
Die Filamente bewegen sich sehr schnell, erzeugen
Turbulenzen im Speichel-Wasser-Zahnpasta-Gemisch.
Diese Turbulenzen gelangen auch an Stellen, die für
die Filamente nicht erreichbar sind, und so erfolgt die
Reinigung bis in die Zahnzwischenräume hinein.
Eektiv: schräg
• Bürste im 45-Grad-Winkel anlegen, je zur Häle auf
das Zahneisch und den Zahn. Mit dem ergonomi-
schen Sechskant-Gri lassen sich die Zähne so optimal
reinigen.
• Die Bürste einfach locker auiegen lassen, ohne Druck.
• Reinigen von Zahn zu Zahn: zwei bis drei Sekunden bei
einem Zahn verweilen.
• Dabei die Hydrosonic «Black Is White» ein- bis zweimal
leicht kippen, um die Einziehungen in die Zahnzwi-
schenräume besonders gut zu reinigen.
DIE KIEFERQUADRANTEN:
IMMER GLEICH
• Nach jeweils 30 Sekunden wird der Wechsel des
Kieferquadranten durch drei kurze, aufeinanderfolgen-
de Unterbrechungen von 0.2 Sekunden signalisiert

• Wichtig: Der Reinigungsablauf wird bei allen Kiefer-
quadranten wiederholt – am besten immer in derselben
Reihenfolge. So geht kein Zahn vergessen.
• Eine lange Unterbrechung zeigt an, dass zwei Minuten

• Nach vier Minuten schaltet sich die Hydrosonic
«Black Is White» aus.
• Die Zahnbürste kann jederzeit per Knopfdruck
abgeschaltet werden.
Kauächen: nicht vergessen
Insbesondere Kinder und Jugendliche reinigen zusätzlich
ihre Kauächen wegen der teilweise tiefen Fissuren.
Zahnärztliche Empfehlung: gern mehr
Dentalmediziner empfehlen eine Mindest-Putzdauer
von zwei Minuten. Wer länger putzt, fördert damit seine
Zahngesundheit zusätzlich.

• Optimal battery charging time: 10 hours.
• Charging: place the Hydrosonic «Black Is White» into
the charger and connect it to the mains. To do this, plug
the charger’s USB connector into the USB adapter and
plug this into the mains. You can also charge the device
using the USB port on your laptop or computer.
• Check the charge status: remove the Hydrosonic
«Black Is White» from the charger or switch it o.
• Fully charged: all LEDs are lit.
Clean without applying pressure: the bristles do the
work; simply hold the brush against each tooth for two to
three seconds without applying pressure.

When you switch on the Hydrosonic, it will start on the
last selected mode.
• The bottom LED is lit up: «start» mode stimulates
circulation in the gums, with 22,000 brush strokes per
minute. This mode will also help you get used to the
slight tingling caused by a sonic toothbrush.
• The middle LED is lit up: «clean» mode with 32,000
brush strokes per minute optimally removes plaque
and bacteria.
• The top LED is lit up: «smile» mode is recommended

Our oral health professionals recommend a simple
vertical back-and-forth movement, without applying
pressure. This has three advantages: It is gentle on your
gumline. It provides particularly good care. It delivers
hydrodynamic as well as mechanical cleaning.
Hydrodynamics: turbulent
The bristles move very quickly, generating turbulence in
the mixture of saliva, water and toothpaste. This turbu-
lence also reaches areas which cannot be reached by the
bristles, thus ensuring that cleaning takes place between
your teeth as well.
Eective: slanted
• Position the brush at a 45-degree angle so it lies half
on the gums, half on the teeth. This is the ideal way to
clean your teeth with the ergonomic hexagonal handle.
• Simply hold the brush loosely without applying
pressure.
• Clean from tooth to tooth: two to three seconds on
each tooth.
• While cleaning, slightly tilt the Hydrosonic «Black Is
White» once or twice to clean the recesses and spaces
between your teeth particularly well.
JAW QUADRANTS:
ALWAYS THE SAME
• Aer 30 seconds, three short, consecutive pauses of 0.2
seconds each will indicate that it’s time to move to a
dierent quadrant in your mouth.
• Important: the cleaning process should be repeated for
every jaw quadrant – ideally always in the same order.
This way, you won’t miss out any teeth.
• A long pause indicates that the two minutes have
elapsed.

• La LED du milieu est allumée: vous êtes en mode
«clean». Les 32 000 mouvements par minute sont
idéals pour éliminer ecacement la plaque dentaire et

• La LED du haut est allumée: vous êtes en mode «smile».
Les 42 000 mouvements par minute sont parfaite-
ment adaptés au nettoyage des dents et des gencives
sensibles.
Chaque mode vous assure un excellent brossage, cepen-
dant avec « clean » et « smile », le nettoyage est non
seulement mécanique, mais aussi hydrodynamique.

vertical en exerçant le moins de pression possible.
Ceci présente trois avantages: Préserve le sillon gingival.
Nettoie très ecacement. Et en plus d’un nettoyage
mécanique, vous protez d’un eet hydrodynamique.
Hydrodynamique et turbulences
Les laments oscillent à une vitesse exceptionnelle,
ce qui crée des turbulences dans le mélange d’eau,
de dentifrice et de salive. Ces dernières permettent
de nettoyer là où les laments ne vont pas et vous
garantissent des espaces interdentaires impeccables.
Bien inclinée pour plus d’ecacité
• Positionnez la brosse an qu’elle soit à moitié sur la
dent et à moitié sur la gencive tout en la tenant inclinée
à 45 degrés. Le manche ergonomique hexagonal

• Maintenez la brosse en position, sans forcer.
• Nettoyez une dent après l’autre: passez deux à trois
