DIY STEM Remote Controlled Walking Triceratops

Packing List:
•Wooden parts for the dino structure
•1 x Small DC Motor
•Screwdriver
•Some screws
•Battery holder and remote control
•AA batteries (Included)

Step 1:
Connect the wires from the
remote control to the DC
motor as shown.

Step 2:
Join the wooden structures
together as shown in the
image.

Step 3:
Place the DC motor in
between the two wooden
structure, and secure the DC
motor by covering the top
wooden piece.
Attach the circular wood on
the DC motor’s shafts on
both sides.

Step 4:
Attach two circular wood
together with a screw. Make
sure the hole from the larger
wood is aligned to the hole
on the smaller wood.

Step 5:
Attach the wooden pieces as
shown in the image using
screws. Construct two
similar structures and ensure
the orientation of the
opposite.

Step 6:
Place the wooden structure
at the side of the body.
Secure the structure with
two circular wooden piece as
highlighted. Screw and
secure the circular wood to
the motor shaft.

Step 7:
Secure the feet of the
dinosaur with screws. Make
sure the toe is pointing
inwards to ensure good
balance.

Step 8:
Attach all the pieces
together to form the head of
the dinosaur.
