Hardware Provided
Preparation Tools Required For Assembly
Note: It requires at least three people to assemble an
IDEA Panoramic. To maintain optimal projected image geometry
and screen assembly alignment, a lat and straight wall free from
obstructions and angular distortions should be used.
Create a clean work area for assembly using padded material or
other soft, clean, material. This will help keep the frame and
screen surface clean and protect it. The work area should be
larger than the screen size.

Assembly
1. Carefully unpack units and lay the panels, viewing surface down,
on the clean work area (Figure 1).
Note: The middle panel will not have connecting bars.
2. Align the connecting bars of the side panels with the middle
panel. Evenly push each side panel into the middle panel.

3. Insert (8) #8 x ½” screws through the middle panel at the
connecting bars. Each connecting bar will use (2) screws
(Figure 1a).
4. Apply a strip of black tape on each panel joint centered on the
panel supports (Figure 1b).
5. Raise assembly on edge by lifting one of the long sides to a
vertical position perpendicular with the loor. The side with the
Da-Lite badge on the middle panel must be closest to the loor.
Note: During Steps 69, the screen assembly will need to remain
in this vertical position.

6. Center middle aluminum tray with the top of the vertically
upright middle panel and attach with (5) #8 x ½” screws. Insert
screws through the tray into the groove of the frame (Figure 2a).
Note: The length of the middle tray is the same as the length of
the middle panel.
7. Align each side tray with the middle tray and attach to the top of
the vertically upright frame with (5) #8 x ½” screws per tray. Insert
screws through the tray into the groove of the frame. Screws
should only be inserted halfway at this time, keeping the tray
loose.
8. Join the tray sections by attaching a connecting plate between
the middle tray and each side tray. Align the tray sections
and secure with (2) 1032 nuts. Tighten both
nuts into each plate (Figure 2b).

Note: Straight and even alignment of the tray sections will
maintain rigidity of the screen assembly when installed on
the wall.
9. Tighten the screws for each tray into the bottom of the frame
(Figure 2a).
10. Place screen assembly back down on the clean work area,
viewing surface up..

Wall Mounting
Refer to the Hardware Provided section on page 2 for the lengths
of wall brackets included with your screen size.
1. Secure wall brackets at the desired height. Each bracket must be
mounted to a lat surface into at least two wall studs. Brackets
must be level to each other. Center the middle bracket with the
middle panel. Place the side brackets 5” from the side edge of the
screen frame. The middle panel will use a 44” bracket and the
side panels will use 28” or 44” brackets depending on screen size
(Figure 3).
Note: You will need at least 1” clearance above the brackets holes
in order to mount the screen.
2. Lift the screen at least 1” over the wall brackets. Lower the screen
until the frame hooks onto the wall brackets.
Note: This step will require three people. Each end of the screen,
as well as the center, must be supported when lifting onto the
wall brackets.
3. Attach bottom of screen to wall with (2) #8 x 1 ½” screws per
panel. The bottom mounting holes are located under the trays
(Figure 3).

Cleaning
The supplied cleaning cloth can be used to clean marks on the
screen surface made by everyday dry erase marker usage. To
clean persistent marks from dry erase markers, use the supplied
Da-Lite spray cleaner and cleaning cloth. To clean permanent
markers and other unintentional marks on the surface, use the
supplied Da-Lite spray cleaner and cleaning cloth or a melamine
foam cleaning pad.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON DA-LITE PRESENTATION PRODUCTS
Milestone AV Technologies LLC warrants certain Da-Lite branded products to the original purchaser only, to be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser; provided they are
properly operated according to Da-Lite’s instructions and are not damaged due to improper handling or treatment after shipment
from the factory.
This warranty does not apply to equipment showing evidence of misuse, abuse or accidental damage, or which has been tampered
with or repaired by a person other than authorized Da-Lite personnel.
Da-Lite’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or to replace (at Da-Lite’s option) the defective part of the merchandise.
Returns for service should be made to your Da-Lite dealer. If it is necessary for the dealer to return the screen or part to Da-Lite,
transportation expenses to and from Da-Lite are payable by the purchaser and Da-Lite is not responsible for damage in shipment.
To protect yourself against damage or loss in transit, insure the product and prepay all transportation expenses.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES AS TO FITNESS FOR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY. Any implied warranties of
itness for use, or merchantability, that may be mandated by statute or rule of law are limited to the one (1) year warranty period.
This warranty gives you speciic legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state-to-state. TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NO LIABILITY IS ASSUMED FOR EXPENSES OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM
INTERRUPTION IN OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT, OR FOR INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE.
