CAUTION: To avoid damage to the refrigerator or handle
components, do not use power tools. Use hand tools
only for disassembly and assembly.
STEP 1 Model IF36BNNF only: This kit does not include
the necessary handle stud mounting screws
because the required fastener length varies with
the total thickness of the custom panels. The panel
craftsman must determine and obtain the proper
stud mounting fasteners required for the
application prior to installing the panels on the
refrigerator.
NOTES See Dacor document 100504 for complete custom
panel construction information.
The handle mounting studs accommodate #10
atheadscrews/bolts.Boltingthestudsintoplace
on the panel is highly recommended for long term
stability.
If using bolts, the nut must be countersunk into the
panel (see diagram).
The inner edges of the two upper refrigerator doors
must be secured to the door using thin double
sided tape. See step 3 for additional details.
For PF36 series refrigerators, skip to step 5. For EF series refrigerators, skip to step 9.

STEP 2 Model IF36BNNF only: Install the six (6) handle mounting studs in the locations shown
below. Use the screw type selected in step 1. The top handle mounting stud spacings are
30” (762 mm). The bottom handle stud spacing is 23 9/16” (598 mm).

STEP 3 Model IF36BNNF only: Install thin double
sided tape on either side of the mounting
studs as shown.
STEP 4 Model IF36BNNF only: Install the custom
panels on the refrigerator doors according to
Dacor document 100504. Then, skip to step 9.

STEP 5 Models PF36BNDF and PF36BNNF only: Using
a T20 Torx driver, remove the six (6) handle mount-
ing studs from the front of the refrigerator. Retain
the Torx mounting screws. Discard the studs and
plastic bushings under the studs.
STEP 6 Models PF36BNDF and PF36BNNF only: Install the two (2) top Epicure handle mount-
ing studs in the locations shown. Use the screws removed in step 5 and insert a mounting
bushing from the kit between each stud and the door as shown. The rounded edge on
the bushing must point down. The straight edges of the bushings must be square with the
edges of the door.

STEP 7 Models PF36BNDF and PF36BNNF only: Install the two (2) middle mounting studs in
the locations shown. Use the screws removed in step 5 and insert a mounting bushing
from the kit between each stud and the door as shown. The rounded edge on the bush-
ings must point up. Square the bushing edges with the edges of the door.

STEP 8 Models PF36BNDF and PF36BNNF only: Install the two (2) freezer drawer mounting
studs in the locations shown. Use the screws removed in step 5 and insert a mounting
bushing from the kit between each stud and the door as shown. The rounded edge on the
bushings must point toward the center of the drawer. Square the bushing edges with the
edges of the drawer.

Bottom (Freezer) Handle Installation (All models)
STEP 9 Find the shortest of the three handles in the
kit box.
STEP 10 Mount the handle to the bottom drawer by
sliding the holes on the back over the handle
mounting studs on the refrigerator. You may
need to loosen the handle set screws using a
3/32” Allen wrench to allow the handle to slide
into place. Make sure the set screw holes on
the handle are facing toward the bottom.
STEP 11 Carefully tighten the set screws into place
usinga3/32”Allenwrench.Becarefulnotto
scratchthenish.
STEP 12 Checktomakesurethatthehandleisrmly
attached.

Top Right Handle Installation (All models)
STEP 13 Mount the handle to the right door by sliding
the holes on the back over the handle mounting
studs on the right door. Loosen the set screws
if necessary. Make sure the holes for the set
screws face toward the center of the refrigerator.
STEP 14 Carefully tighten the set screws into place using
a3/32”Allenwrench.Becarefulnottoscratch
thenish.
STEP 15 Checktomakesurethatthehandleisrmlyat-
tached.

Top Left Handle Installation (All models)
STEP 16 Mount the remaining handle to the left door
with the holes for the set screws toward the
center of the refrigerator. Loosen the sets
screws if necessary.
STEP 17 Open the left door while holding the handle in
place to prevent damage to the other handle
during step18.
STEP 18 Carefully tighten the set screws into place
usinga3/32”Allenwrench.Becarefulnotto
scratchthenish.
STEP 19 Checktomakesurethatthehandleisrmly
attached.
