Epicure®Refrigerator Upper Trim Kit

Installation Preparation
STEP 1 Make sure the top surface of the refrigerator is
clean and dry.
STEP 2 Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove
both hinge covers. NOTE: Since the new trim
piece will cover the hinges, the hinge covers
and their screws may be discarded.

• 5/16” hex driver or socket (not supplied)
• Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied)
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the refrigerator or
components, do not use power tools. Use hand
tools only.

STEP 3 Using a 5/16” socket, remove and retain the inner rear screw from both hinges.

STEP 4 Peel the protective cover off the foam tape strips on the bottom side of the trim base plate.

IMPORTANT: Once it makes contact with the top of the refrigerator, the trim cannot be removed
without damaging the foam tape. Read step 5 carefully before installing the trim assembly.
STEP 5 Install the trim assembly on top of the refrigerator. Line up the inner mounting holes in the
trim piece with the rear inner hinge screw holes on the refrigerator as shown. To help line
up both sets of holes, insert the hex head screws removed in step 3 into the trim brackets
as shown. Line the screws up with the holes as you lower the trim into place. Thread the
screws,thenpushdownrmlyonthebaseplatesothatthetapeonthebottomadheresto
the refrigerator.
STEP 6 Once the trim assembly is in place,
tighten both screws. Do not overtighten.
