• To avoidre,explosionorinjury,donotoperatetheunitwhenharmfulgases(e.g.ammableorcorrosive)aredetected
neartheunit.
• Beawarethatprolonged,directexposuretocoolorwarmairfromtheairconditioner,ortoairthatistoocoolortoowarm,
canbeharmfultoyourphysicalconditionandhealth.
• Donotplaceobjects,includingrods,yourngers,etc.,intheairinletoroutlet.Productdamageorpersonalinjurymay
resultduetocontactwiththeairconditioner’shigh-speedfanblades.
• Donotattempttorepair,dismantle,reinstallormodifytheairconditioneryourselfasthismayresultinwaterleakage,
electricshockorrehazards.
• Donotuseammablesprayneartheairconditioner,orotherwiseremayresult.
• Donotusearefrigerantotherthantheoneindicatedontheoutdoorunit(R32)wheninstalling,movingorrepairing.Using
otherrefrigerantsmaycausetroubleordamagetotheunit,andpersonalinjury.
• Toavoidelectricshock,donotoperatewithwethands.
• Bewareofreincaseofrefrigerantleakage.Iftheairconditionerisnotoperatingcorrectly,i.e.notgeneratingcoolair,
refrigerantleakagecouldbethecause.Consultyourdealerforassistance.Therefrigerantwithintheairconditionerissafe
andnormallydoesnotleak.
However,intheeventofaleakage,contactwithanakedburner,heaterorcookermayresultingenerationofnoxiousgas.
Donotusetheairconditioneruntilaqualiedservicepersonconrmsthattheleakagehasbeenrepaired.
• Donotattempttoinstallorrepairtheairconditioneryourself.Improperworkmanshipmayresultinwaterleakage,electric
shockorrehazards.Pleasecontactyourlocaldealerorqualiedpersonnelforinstallationandmaintenancework.
• Iftheairconditionerismalfunctioning(givingoffaburningodour,etc.),turnoffpowertotheunitandcontactyourlocal
dealer.Continuedoperationundersuchcircumstancesmayresultinafailure,electricshockorrehazards.
• Besuretoinstallanearthleakagecircuitbreaker.Failuretoinstallanearthleakagecircuitbreakermayresultinelectric
shockorre.
• Besuretoearththeunit.Donotearththeunittoautilitypipe,lightningconductorortelephoneearthlead.
Imperfectearthingmayresultinelectricshock.
CAUTION
• Donotusetheairconditionerforpurposesotherthanthoseforwhichitisintended.Donotusetheairconditionerfor
coolingprecisioninstruments,food,plants,animalsorworksofartasthismayadverselyaffecttheperformance,quality
and/orlongevityoftheobjectconcerned.
• Donotexposeplantsoranimalsdirectlytotheairowfromtheunitasthismaycauseadverseeffects.
• Donotplaceappliancesthatproducenakedamesinplacesexposedtotheairowfromtheunitasthismayimpair
combustionoftheburner.
• Donotblocktheairinletsnoroutlets.Impairedairowmayresultininsufcientperformanceortrouble.
