THE HEATER CAN BE FREE STANDING OR WALL MOUNTED.
FOR ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS SEE BELOW:
FREE STANDING
WALL MOUNTING THE HEATER
Caution:
- There should be a distance of at least 50cm between the lower part of the
appliance and the oor.
- There should be a distance of at least 1 metre between the upper part of the
appliance and the ceiling.
- The feet must be removed before mounting the appliance on the wall.
1. Measure the distance between the two slots situated at the back of the appliance
(see picture A)
2. Drill two holes at the same distance in the wall and insert a plug in each hole you just drilled. Place
the brackets facing the holes as indicated on picture B and attach them in this position with the
screws supplied.
3. Before attaching the appliance on the brackets, attach the two other brackets underneath the
appliance as indicated on picture C.
4. Attach the appliance on the wall. To do so, hold it in such way that the slots are facing the brackets;
insert the appliance halfway onto the brackets until the appliance can go down into the grooves of
the brackets.
5. As soon as the appliance is positioned correctly, take a pencil and mark a dot in the hole of each
bracket situated underneath the appliance.
6. Then take o the appliance by proceeding the other way around compared to point 4 above.
7. Drill a hole in the wall on each dot you just marked and insert a plug in each hole.
8. Attach the appliance back on the wall as indicated in point 4, insert screws through the brackets
underneath the appliance and tighten without forcing.
Assembly Of The Heater
Components
ASSEMBLY
Before using the heater, the feet (supplied
separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit.
The screw pack to attach the feet to your heater will
be taped to either one of the feet for your heater, or
taped to the plug.
Carefully turn the Main Body upside-down on ascratch-
free and stable surface. Be careful to prevent damage
to the cosmetic finish or your floor surfacing.
Each foot requires two screws to attach them securely
to the heater. Two holes are pre-drilled in each foot and
in the base of the heater. Align the feet with the holes,
insert the screws and use a screwdriver to secure the
feet to the base of the heater. Return to upright position.

WARNING: Operate the heater in the normal
upright position only with the feet attached to the
bottom. Any other position could create a
hazardous situation.

Assembly Of The Heater

Fitting the feet
1. Place the appliance on a soft surface with the base uppermost.
2. Fit the feet to the bottom of the appliance using 2 screws on each feet.
Wall mounting
1. Mark two drilled holes at a minimum height of 487mm and at a distance of 575mm(see fig.
Drill diagram).
2. Use a drill and an 8mm drill bit, drill two holes with a minimum depth of 40mm.
3. Insert the supplied wall plugs into the holes.
4. Screw the two wall brackets to the wall using the supplied screws .
5. To ensure that the appliance hangs vertically on the wall, the other two wall brackets
are used as spacers (see Fig. spacers).
6. Screw the two wall brackets onto the underside of the appliance with the supplied
screws .
7. Hang the appliance from the top into the wall brackets .

15. Do not operate with cord set coiled up as aheat build
up is likely, which could be sufficient to become a
hazard.
16. Carry out regular checks of the supply cord to ensure
no damage is evident.
17. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord,
plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return to a
qualified electrical person for examination, electrical
service or repair.
18. Do not remove plug from power socket by pulling cord;
always grip plug.
19. Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the
appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken
and split. Always ensure that all cord has been
removed from any cord storage area and is unrolled
before use.

must be set at least 4°C higher than the room
temperature in order for the heating element to

Press the Fahrenheit/Celsius button to
display the preferred temperature scale.
The Timer button allows a time to be set
between 1 to 24 hours. Press the Timer button
until the desired time is shown on the display
(e.g. 01h00m). Each press of the Timer button
will increase the length of time in 1 hour
increments. The heater will countdown and once
the selected time has elapsed the heater will
switch off automatically.
To turn the heater off, press the On/Off button on
the Control Panel again. Then turn the Power
Switch at the side of the heater to “O” position.
Operating your Appliance
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control buttons perform the same
functions as those on the Control Panel of the
unit.
For best results, aim the remote directly at the
display screen on the front of the heater. The
remote has a 3 metre range of operation.
The remote control requires one "CR2032" type
battery. Remove the plastic tab from the battery
and battery terminal prior to first use of the
remote control.
SAFETY DEVICES
This appliance has three protection devices:
1. Tilt switch - this will automatically turn the
appliance off if the appliance is not in the
appropriate operating position.
2. Resettable thermal link - this will
automatically disconnect the power to the
appliance at apre-set overheat temperature.
After cooling down it will reset and power on
again. If this occurs, investigate what is
causing the appliance to overheat.
3. Thermal fuse - this disconnects the
appliance permanently in case of
overheating. (It is non resettable).
CAUTION: The appliance generates heat during
use. Proper precautions must be taken to
prevent the risk of burns, scalds, fires or other
damage to persons.
CARE AND CLEANING
The appliance requires regular cleaning to
ensure trouble free operation:
Unplug the appliance from the mains supply
before cleaning.
Ensure that the appliance has been allowed to
cool down completely before cleaning.
Use a damp cloth (not wet) to wipe the exterior of
the appliance to remove dust and dirt.
Never use solutions such as benzene, thinners or
polishing agents.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and fluff
from around the grills.
Ensure the appliance is dry before plugging back

SAFETY FEATURE
The heater is tted with a resetting thermal cut-
out. In normal use the thermal cut out will not
take any action.
If the unit overheats, it will cut out automatically.
If this happens, unplug the device and check
for any blockages or covering of air vents and
remove. After approximately 10 minutes, the unit
will cool down and operate normally.
Press the Fahrenheit/Celsius button to
display the preferred temperature scale.
The Timer button allows a time to be set
