1 Introduction
Thank you for choosing a deconta product.
With this device you obtain a practical solution with simple operation, which was
completed in a compact and functional way.
The deconta products guarantee:

Thanks to our experience in the field of asbestos removal, the construction of this
engineered equipment was focused on security.
For your protection, the use of the engineered equipment outside of the asbestos
removal should be agreed upon beforehand with deconta. It will be our pleasure to help
and support you and will take then also the liability by the external original use
In case of damages (mechanical or electric) or in a breakdown, deconta can help you in
a short term with its express service.
We have to point out to you that the non-observance of this guide book causes the
expiration of your warranty claims.
The copyright of this instruction manual remains with deconta. This manual is intended
for assembly, operation and maintenance personnel. It contains instructions and drafts of
technical nature which may neither be distributed nor used in any unauthorised way for
competitive purposes or passed on to others.

2 Basic safety advice
deconta has to engage you as the user to follow the guide book and to employ this
engineered technology only in accordance with the regulations and not in an
inappropriate way! In the event of non-observance, deconta assumes no liability.
The handling of the appliance technology is only allowed for instructed staff, because you
have to consider the contaminated materials and devices as dangerous goods. The exact
knowledge of the guide book is an important condition for your staff before handling the
machine.
Necessary repairs, maintenance and cleaning, in particular in the field of electrical
equipment should be realized by qualified staff or if necessary by the express service
deconta in order keep its function and safety.
The safety and personal protective equipment has to be treated with care and the
indicated safety advice has to be kept in a readable state.
The installation and the operation of the device can only be executed according to the
guide book or after consultation with deconta.
In order not to restrict safety, any changes on the machine are prohibited. Change
requests can only be made with the agreement of deconta.
Supplementary to this guide book, the standard, legal and remaining binding rules
concerning the accident prevention and the protection of the environment have to be
observed.

3 Transport and storage
Unless no other agreements have been made, the lock system has been packed
adequately against damage and is delivered ex works deconta GmbH Isselburg.
Transport damages have to be documented at once during the handing over of the
carrier or another supplier. Please note the possible damages additionally on the way bill.
To avoid damages caused by improper handling or carelessness, please be cautious
during transport.
The lock system has to be put in store in a decontaminated condition.
In order to avoid damages, the installation has to be kept in a dry area with no access for
unauthorized persons.
4 Scope of delivery
Unless no other agreements have been made, the scope of delivery of a material lock
system consists of:
• Guide book
• Material lock system (Number of chambers according to design)
optional • Sewage filtering plant
5 Technical description
5.1 Intended use
In case of asbestos removal work within closed rooms, it has to be excluded that
asbestos fibres leave the removal area uncontrolled and consequently would represent a
danger for humans and environment. For these reasons, the removal area (dirty end) is
separated from the clean area and kept thanks to a NPU (negative pressure unit) in
dynamical negative pressure.
The deconta Material lock system ECO-Line serves to move material inward and
outward, as well as to clean asbestos contaminated material without endangering the
environment.
The Material lock system may not be used as Personnel lock system!

5.2 Description of material lock system
The material lock system is distinguished by the following features:
Minimal setup-time because of tension looking system, setup without tools
All doors with windows
Roof element translucent
Stabil connection of base and roof elements because of corner profiles
Side walls and door elements out of recycled
Excellent heat and cold resistance
Easy cleaning of light-coloured smooth surfaces
Cleaning chamber with hand shower

All door elements with ventilation

The “Quick-Dush” material lock system is a modular system and can be adapted in
almost every situation. Roof and base elements having the same attachments enable to
extend the existing system and to use already present parts at a later point in time.
There are lockable double hinged doors at the entrance and exit. The single chambers
are separated by a lamella curtain.

7 Assembly instruction
The lock system can be assembled easily and quickly with 2 persons.
7.1 Preparation:
Previous to the assembly of the personnel lock:
Determine the exact position and the ground plan
The floor must be clean and flat
7.2 Set up:
Align bottom elements flatwise next to each.
Attention:
To prevent unnecessary hose lengths, the sewage aspiration port of the cleaning
chamber should have the shortest route to the filtering station. Please clean holder
bracket of tub before inserting the door and side elements!

Insert corner profile onto connecting corner of two base elements and brace quick
release clamps, fixed to the end of the corner profile, to the base element. Insert wall
element in holder bracket and mount opposite corner profile.

Insert double doors into holder bracket and fix to corner profile with quick release clamps.
Assemble other double door and the remaining wall elements as described above.
Put on the roof and brace quick release clamps, fixed to the ends of the corner profile,
with the roof element.

The lamella curtain („Flaps“) is installed (clamped) with help of wing screws at the
junction of both roof elements.
Place corner profile, where both base elements adjoin each other.. This prevents a water
discharge out of the lock system.

8 Maintenance and care
Daily maintenance:
Control of water hoses to have continuous flow
Clean lock area daily
Clean the chambers carefully with a moist wiping
cloth after each termination of a shift
Control of base elements to have continuous flow
For the cleaning and care of the Quick-Dush, you can use standard cleaning agents.

Material lock system, suitable for the use during asbestos removal work. Floors, walls
and ceilings are made of washable, smooth materials. For monitoring purposes every
door is equipped with a window and has ventilation openings. Fully welded aluminium
roof and base elements, as well as shock-proof and impact-resistant plastic.
