- SAFTEY INSTRUCTIONS

-Duringinstallation,orinthecaseofrepairs,theappliancemustbeunplugged.
-Makesurethattheelectricaltensionofthepowersourcecorrespondstotheelectricaltension
indicatedontheinformationplateontheinsideofthehood.
-Ifyouneedtomodifytheelectricallayoutofyourhouseinordertobeabletousethehood,
callaqualiedtechnician.
-Ifyouusethehoodinthedischargemode,neverhookuptheappliancetoadischargeconduitused
forcombustionfumes(boilers,chimneys,etc.)oraCMVunit(ControlledMechanicalVentilation).
-Thedischargeconduit,whateveritmaybe,mustneverexitintotheattic.
-Installthehoodatasafedistanceofatleast70cmfromthehobsurface,whethertheyare
electric,gas,ormixed.

Thehoodcanbehookeduptotheopeningbywayofadischargeconduit(minimumdiameter
F125mm,unpainted,inaluminium,exible,orinnon-ammablematerial).Iftheconduithas
adiameteroflessthan125mm,youmustusethehoodintherecirculationmode.
Ifyoudonothaveaconduitexittotheoutside:g. 1
Allofourappliancescanoperateintherecirculationmode.
Inthiscase,youmustaddanactivecarbonlterthatactstocontrolsmells.
ELECTRIALHOOKUP
This appliance conforms to the European Directives 2006/95/EC (Low Voltage Directive)
and 2004/108/EC (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
Whenyouinstalltheapplianceandcarryoutmaintenance,itmustbeunpluggedfromthepower
sourceorthefusesmustbedisengagedorremoved.Electricalhookupmustbecarriedout
beforetheapplianceisinstalledinthecabinet.
Checkthat:
-thepowersourceissucient,
-powercordsareingoodcondition,
-Thediameterofthecablesconformstoinstallationregulations.
- MOUNTING THE HOOD
Installation must conform to the regulations in force regarding the ventilation of
enclosed environments. In France, these regulations are container in the DTU 61.1 of the
CSTB. In particular, discharged air must not be channelled into a conduit used for exhaust
discharge or discharge from devices that operate with gas or other combustible materials.
The use of unused conduits is not permissible without the approval of a qualied tech-
nician. The minimum distance between the hob surface and the lowest part of the hood
must be 70 cm. IF the instructions for the cooker installed under the hood require an even
greater distance, this must take precedence.
- INSTALLATION
Beforeinstallingthehood,removetheanti-greaselterstoavoiddamagingtheappliance.To
removetheanti-greaselters,pushthehandletowardthelowerpartofthehoodandrotatethe
lterdownward,removingitfromitshousing(Fig.3A).
Attention: Installation must be carried out by at least two people.
Beforeinstallingthehood,ensureasupplyofelectricitytotheconduitandthedischargehole,
inthecaseofaninstallationwithdischarge.

theupperplate(Fig.4.1)ontheceiling,drillfour8mmholescorrespondingtothedrilljig.
Inserttheexpandersleevesintotheholes(Fig,4-1–A)andattachtheplatetotheceilingwith
thescrews(Fig.4-1-B).
Thenattachthelowerstructure(Fig,6.2)tothehoodliningupitsholeswiththeboltswelded
totheventilatorsupport(Fig.6.1).Insertthesuppliedwashersandnuts(Fig.6.2-A)tightening
themwithanappropriatetool.
Connectthe air discharge conduit to the motorunitby way of the collar.  Inserttheupper
structure(g.6.3)onthelowerstructurewhileadjustingthepositiontothedesiredheight,
respectingtheminimumrequiredheightbetweenthecookerandthehood.Tightenthescrews
onthetwostructures(Fig.6.3B).
Thenliftthehoodwiththestructureandtheconduitsalreadyinserteduntilthefoursprings
(Fig.6.6–E)hookontothedrilljig(Fig.6.3C).Oncethetwopartsarehookedtogether,tighten
thetwoparts(Fig.5.1,Fig.5.2,Fig.11)withthesafetyscrews(Fig.5.2A).
Connectthehoodconduittotheairdischargehole.
Theninsertthetwotelescopicpipes(g.6.4e6.5)intothelowerpartofthehood(Fig.12).
Beforeinsertingthetelescopicpipescompletely(Fig,6.4e6.5)hookupthedisplayconnection
(Fig.13).Thenlifttheconduitcompletelyandattachittothehoodwiththesuppliedscrews
(Fig.12-A).Raisetheupperconduittotheceilingandattachitwiththescrews(Fig.6.6–D).
Check valve blockage
Warning:Beforeconnectingtheairexhausthose,makesurethatthecheckvalvesarefreeto
turnoverfreely.
In ltering application that the stop valve doesn’t permit the entrance of wind and exhau-
sted air.
Recirculation Mode
Toinstalltheunitintherecirculationmode,attachtheairdeector(Fig.4.2)totheupperange
(Fig.4.3)withthefoursuppliedscrews(Fig.4.3-A).
Thenproceedwiththeinstallationasindicatedforthedischargemode.Youmustinsertashea-
thbetweenthedeectorandthemotordischarge.

- ELECTRIAL HOOK UP OF THE HOOD
This appliance is tted with an H05 VVF 3 conductor, 0.75 mm2 (neutral, phase, and
ground) power cable. This can be hooked up to a 220 – 240 V mono-phase electrical
network by way of a CEI 60083 regulation power socket that must remain accessible after
installation, in conformity to installation regulations.
We decline all responsibility in case of accident caused by a lack of ground connection
or incorrect ground connection. The fuse used must be 10 or 16 A. If the power cable is
damaged, call the after-sales service to avoid any risk.
Attention
Ifthehoodpresentssomeformofanomaly,unplugtheapplianceorremovethefusecorre-
spondingtotheappliance’spowerline.

vicinity,eachsystemmayaecttheoperationoftheother,duetothefactthattheyhavethe
samecode.Thereforeitwillbenecessarytochangethecodeofoneoftheradiocontrols.
Generating a new transmission code.
Theradiocontrol is supplied bythemanufacturerwith default codes stored.Ifyouwantto
createanewsetofcodes,proceedasfollows:pressandholdtheUP,STOPandDOWNbuttons
simultaneouslyfor2seconds.AftertheLEDSlightup,presstheUPandDOWNbuttonswithin5
seconds.TheLEDSwillash3timestoindicatethattheprocessiscompleted.
WARNING: This procedure deletes all previously stored codes.
Learning the new transmission code.
Afterchangingthetransmissioncodeontheradiocontrol,thecookerhoodelectroniccontrol
unitmustbemadetosetthenewcodeasfollows:pressthemainPowerObuttononthe
cookerhoodandthenrestorepowertotheelectroniccontrolunit.Withinthenext15seconds,
presstheLightbutton.Thiswillensurethecontrolunitissynchronizedwiththenewcode.
Warning:
Thebatteryshouldbereplacedeveryyeartoguaranteetheoptimalrangeofthetransmitter.To
replacetheexhaustedbattery,taketheplasticlido,removethebatteryandreplaceitwitha
newone,observingthecorrectbatterypolarities.Usedbatteriesshouldbediscardedinspecial
collectionbins.
Theproductsarettedwithanelectronicdevicethatallowsautomaticshutoafterfourhours
ofoperationafterthelastcommandperformed.

Carefulmaintenancehelpsguaranteeproperoperationandgoodresultsfromanapplianceovertime.
The hood must be unplugged from the electrical power source, both by unplugging the
appliance from the socket as well as de-activating the breaker, before removing the metal l-
ters. After cleaning, you must replace the metal lters as outlined in the instructions.

- CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB
Before any maintenance, the hood must be disconnected from the power source,
either by unplugging the power cord from the wall socket or by deactivating the switch.
Dichroic light bulb:
To substitute the halogen bulb, remove it by sliding a small screwdriver or a sharp utensil
betweenthebulband itshousing.Replacethebulbwithanother ofthesamespecications
(g.7).
Anymaintenanceonyourequipmentshouldbeundertakenby:
-eitheryourdealer,
-oranotherqualiedmechanicwhoisanauthorizedagentforthebrandappliances.
When making an appointment, state the full reference of your equipment (model, type and
