CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.Please clean the water container and the water tank on a
regular basis to maintain the optimal performance.
2.Please clean the converter and the filter on a regular basis to
prevent any scale. The scale from a long time can be hard to clean.
3.Please unplug the machine before cleaning. Please properly
hold the power plug rather than pull violently when unplug
the machine.
4.Please avoid using chemical solvents, gasoline, polishing
powder, etc. to clean the surface of the machine. Please
clean the machine with clean water rather than detergent.
5.Please clean each part with a soft towel. If the scale
cannot be removed, please use the detergent produced or
authorized by us. Melt the citric acid with 60°C water (mix
water and citric acid as per 10mL:1g) and keep such mixture
stay on the scale for 5 minutes. Then fully remove the scale
with a brush.
6.Remove the filter from the water tank and keep it in the white
vinegar for 15 minutes. Gently shake it for about ten times and
wash it with clean water. The cleaned filter shall have no differ
-ence from the new filter in terms of their functions.
7.Please empty the water tank and the water container on a
regular basis to keep the machine clean.
8.Please clean each part of the machine if it will be idle for
a long time and dry it. Then put it back to the packing box
and store in a dry place.
9.Remove the top cover and water inside the water tank.
Turn the concentrator anticlockwise as indicated by the
“lock/unclock” on the internal surface of the water tank and
remove the concentrator (Please be noted not to lose the
active internal part); then clean the atomizer as required.
10.When the cleaning is finished, properly put the concentrator
on the machine and turn clockwise until it is locked.

NOTE
About the water in the base: This humidifier uses ultrasonic ato-
mizer to atomize the water. The water tank serves only as a tran-
sitional water storage tool and it is unavoidable that you may see
water in the water container in the base. No worry about this.
About mist amount adjustment: You may adjust the mist amount
during use. In case of any water around the machine during your
use, it indicates high humidity in the room and you may want to
adjust down the mist amount.

2. Please use this machine under required voltage and
frequency: 120V~60Hz.
3. Do not disassemble or repair this machine without
authorization.
4. In case of any damages to the power line, no one except
for the manufacturer or its maintenance department or similar
professional maintenance body or personnel is allowed to
make replacement.
5. Please unplug the machine immediately in case of any
malfunctions. Such malfunctions must be repaired by the
manufacturer or its maintenance department or similar service
personnel.
6. Please clean the dust on the power plug on regular basis.
7. Please unplug the machine before cleaning or moving.
8. Please properly hold the power plug rather than pull
violently when unplug the machine.
9. Do not move or turn this machine upside down when it is
plugged in or filled with water.
10. Do not reach your hands near the water or parts in the
water container when the machine is plugged in.
11. Do not cover the air inlet or the mist nozzle with items
such as towel when it is working.
12. This is no toy. Please keep it away from babies and kids
to avoid any accidents. Do not put it into the crib, stroller or
playpen.
13. Please use this machine on flat and firm surface rather
than slanted surface.
14. Do not add essence or similar substances not produced
or authorized by us into the water tank and water container
of this machine.
15. Do not use it in the kitchen. Keep it away from heat
sources or direct sunlight. Please use it 2m away from your
furniture or other household appliances to avoid being
affected by the moisture.
16. Please unplug this machine when adding water.

1. Please use this product under required rated voltage. If
the supply voltage is different from the required, please
contact your supplier and stop using this product.
2. Please keep this machine at room temperature for 30
minutes without working after your receipt of it, otherwise
it may cause damage to the water tank due to sudden
temperature changes.
3. Please use it under normal room temperature
(5°C~40°C).
4. Please put it on flat surface and avoid tilting.
5. Please avoid putting the machine directly on the wooden
floor, as the moisture may cause deformation to the
wooden floor.
6. Please use the machine 2m away from your furniture
and household appliances to avoid being affected by the
moisture.
7. Please keep this machine away from hear sources and direct
sunlight.
8. Do not fill the water tank with water above 40°C, as this
may cause damage to the machine.
9. Please make sure water doesn’t flow into the machine
through the air outlet. Please clean the water around the
machine with a dry towel, otherwise it may cause damage
to the machine.
10. Please empty the water tank and the water container
when room temperature is below 0°C, otherwise the frozen
water may cause damage to the machine.
11. Please do not add metal, chemicals, detergent into the
water container, as this may jeopardize the atomization.
12. Please unplug the machine before empty the water
container.
13. Please unplug the machine before moving, cleaning it
or adding more water; avoid moving the machine when it is
working.
14. Do not fill water into the mist nozzle and the air outlet.
15. Please make sure water doesn't flow into the machine
when cleaning.
16. Do not disassemble this machine without authorization.
There is no mist when the machine is turned on?
Answer:
The machine is not properly plugged in or malfunctioned.
What to do:
Re-plug in the machine. If it still fails to work after you
do so, please contact Deerma after-sales center timely.
There is no mist when the machine is connected
to power?
Answer:
The waterless auto shut-off may be initiated if the water
in drained.
What to do:
Turn on the machine again after you fill the water tank
with water. If it still fails to work after you do so, please
contact Deerma after-sales center timely.
Weak mist
Answer:
Too much scale on the atomizer/too many impurities in
the water
What to do:
Clean the atomizer and refill the water tank with pure
water.
Abnormal noise
Answer:
Less water in the water tank/uneven surface
What to do:
Fill the water container with water and put the machine
on firm surface.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug(one blade is wider
than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still dose not fit,
contact qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.

PRODUCT PARAMETERS
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Deerma humidifier uses ultrasonic waves to produce 1.7
million high-frequency oscillations every second, atomiz-
ing water into 1-5 microns ultra-fine particles. These pa-
rticles are then diffused into the air through a pneumatic
machine to give a uniform air humidification effect. This
machine is designed to keep your room at desired hum-
idity and prevent static electricity.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.This machine enters standby mode after it is plugged in.
2.Turn the power button clockwise until you hear the warning
sound, which means it is turned on and begins to work in
weak mist. Keep turning the power button clockwise to
increase the mist amount until
to the maximum. Keep turning the power button anticlockwise
to decrease the mist amount until to the minimum. When you
hear the warning sound again, the machine is turned off and
stops working.
3.Waterless auto shut-off: The reed switch will automatically
disconnect when the water is drained. The machine will then
enter the standby mode.
Note: Please make sure to unplug the machine when it is not
working.
1. Open the package to take out the machine.
2. Remove the top cover and fill the water tank with water.
(Note: Please keep the water level not higher than the
maximum water level)

3.Restore the top cover and
plug in the machine. Turn the
power button clockwise to
turn the humidifier on, at
which time the machine runs
in weak mist. Adjust the mist
amount by turning the button.
