WhenplanningtheMultiMechinstallation,the
following"fourmodesofoperation"mustbe
considered:
•Undernormaloperationthetransportofnotesthroughthedeliveryslotiscontrolledbythehost
computer.TheMultiMechneedsnottobeaccessible.
•Relling/exchangingthenoteboxspacemustbeavailabletoenablewithdrawalandinsertionofthe
notebox.
•OperatormaintenancespacemustbeavailableattherearandonthetopoftheMultiMechtoenable
accesstothetransportpathforremovingjammednotes.
•ServiceandmaintenancespacemustbeavailablefromallsidesoftheMultiMech.Thiscanbeachieved
bymountingtheMultiMechsothatitcanberemovedfromthecabinet.

Recommendationsfortransporting,pullingand
liftingtheMultiMech
Theoriginalpackagingisdesignedtoensuresafe
travelfortheMultiMech.Wethereforerecommend
thatyoudonotdisposeofthepackagingasitcan
beusedforfuturetransportation.
LifttheMultiMech,asshownbelow.When
transportingtheMultiMechandnotusingthe
originalpackaging,securethecassettewithtape
asshownintheillustration.

IftheMultiMechismovedoutfromandintothe
cabinete.g.onslides,thedeliveryslotsmust
alwaysbealignedcorrectlywhentheMultiMech
ispushedin.Thiscouldbeachievedbyusinga
dockingdeviceandadjustingthepositionofthe
MultiMech.
Notealsothedimensionsofthecabinetdelivery
slotandthedistancefromthereferencepointto
theundersurfaceofthecabinettopplate.
•Iftheslotinthecabinetistoonarrow,thenotes
mayjam.
