Dell PowerEdge MX760c system
configurations and features
The PowerEdge MX760c system is a 2S single width compute sled that supports:
●Up to two 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 56 cores
●Up to 32 DDR5 DIMM slots
●Up to 4 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe (HDD/SSD) drives
●Up to 6 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe (HDD/SSD) drives
●Up to 8 x E3.sNVMe (SSD) drives
●MX7000 Gold Grade (Hardware version 2, Gen2) fans

Locating the Express Service Code and Service Tag
The Express Service tag is located on the front of the sled that includes system information such as the Service Tag, Express
Service Code, Manufacture date, QRL label, and so on.

2. Express Service tag
The Mini Enterprise Service Tag (MEST) label is located on the rear of the system that includes the Service Tag (ST), Express
Service Code (Exp Svc Code), and Manufacture Date (Mfg. Date). The Exp Svc Code is used by Dell to route support calls to
the appropriate personnel.
Alternatively, the Service Tag information is located on a label on the left wall of the chassis.

Memory restriction
●Min config: one DIMM required per CPU.
●Mixing RDIMM with different capacities and types is not supported. Mixing RDIMMs of different speeds will results all
RDIMMs to run at the lowest speed
●ASHRAE A3/A4: CPS DIMMs are not supported. Note: ASHRAE A3 is for 40C ambient support and A4 is for 45C ambient
support.
●ASHRE A3/A4: DDR5≥ 128GB is not supported. Note: ASHRAE A3 is for 40C ambient support and A4 is for 45C ambient
support
●Non-populated DIMM slots, should installed with solid DIMM blanks.
●Processor 2 has a max DIMM count of 12 when using Processor 2 HPR heatsink. In configurations utilizing the HPR heatsink,
total max DIMM count for Processor 1 and Processor 2 is 24.
