DSW-1 H QUICK START GUIDE
STEP 3: PLACE
Place the DSW- ~ H in a convenient location in the same room as the other
HEOS devices you wish to group the Subwooferwith.
OPTIONAL
Attach the included feet to the four corners of the
DSW-1 H's side ifyou are placing it on horizontally.

Ifyou are connecting the DSW -1 H to a wired network,
connect the included Ethernet cable between the DSW -1 H
and your router.
Do not connect the Ethernet cable ifyou are connecting your
DSW-1 H to a wireless network.

DSW-1 H QUICK START GUIDE
BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
My HEOS device won't connect to mynetwork using the audio cable
• Make sure your mobile device is connected to yourwireless network before setting up your HEOS device.
· Alternatively, you can connect your HEOS device to your network router using the included Ethernet cable. Once connected via
Ethernet, the HEOS by Denon App should recognize the HEOS device and you can manually move it to your wireless network
using Settings/MyDevices/Device_ Namel Advanced/NetworkSettings.
Connecting to a network using WPS
If your wireless router supportsWPS (Wi - Fi Protected Setup™) yourHEOS wireless device can optionally connect to your network
using the "Push Button" method by following these steps:
1. Press the WPS button on yourrouter.
2. Within 2 minutes, Press and Hold the Connect button on the rear panel of the HEOS device for 5 seconds.
3. The LED on the front of the HEOS devicewill flash green for several seconds as it connects to your router.
4. When theconnection is complete, the LED on the front of the HEOS devicewill tum solid blue.
Resetting your device
Resetting your HEOS devicewill clear out thewireless network settings, EQ, and name but retain it's current software.
You will have to useSettings->Add Device to reconnect the device to your home network before it can be used.
To reset your HEOS device, gently insert a small paperclip intothe Reset button hole on the back and hold it in until the front LED
begins to flash amber.

What is Covered
Except as specified below, this Warranty covers aIJ defects in material and workmanship in this product occurring during the above warranty periods. The fo ll owing are not covered by the Warranty: (1) Any product which is not distributed
in the U.S. A. by DENON ELECTRONICS (USA), LLC. (2) Any product which is not purchased in the U.S.A. from an authorized DENON dealer. (Note: AUTHORIZED DENON DEALERS can be identified by DENON AUTHORIZED
DEALER sticker di splayed in the stores. If you are uncertain as to whether a dealer is a DENON AUTHORIZED DEALER, please contact DENON as listed below). (3) Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified
or removed. (4) Damaged deterioration ot malfunction resulting from: a) Accident, act of nature, a bu se, mi suse, neglect, unauthorized product repair, opening of or modification or failure to foUow instructions supplied with the product. b)
Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by DENON. c) Any shipment of the product (claim must be presented to carrier). (5) Items subject to wear from normal usage (tape heads, cartridges, stylus, battery, etc.). (6) Periodic check-
ups which do not disclose any defect. (7) Use of the product outside the U.S.A. (8) Damaged magnetic tape or CD/DVD/BO discs. (9) Use in in dustrial, commercial, and/or professional applications. ( IO ) Any installation or removal charges
resulting from product failure.
What We Will Pay For
If during the applicable warranty period from the date of original consum er purchase your DENON product is found to be defective by DENON, DENON will repair, or at its option, replace with new, reconditioned or equivalent model,
such defective product without charge for parts or labor.
How to Obtain Warranty Performance
If yo ur unit ever needs service, it may be taken or shipped to any authorized DENON service station or DENON ELECTRONICS (if you are uncertain as to whether a service station is DENON authorized, please visit our website at
http://usa.denon.com/servicecenters or contact DEN ON as li sted below.) 1n alJ oth er cases, the following procedures apply whenever your unit must be transported for warranty service;
a. You are responsible for transporting yo ur unit or arranging for its transportation.
b. U shipment of your unit is required;
You must pay the initial shipping charges, but we will pay lhe return shipping charges if the repairs are covered by the Warranty.
c. WHEN RETURNINGYOUR UNIT FOR WARRANTY SERVJCE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL SALES SLIP MUST BE ATTACHED.
d. You should include the fo llowing: your name, address, daytime telephone numbe r, model and seri al number of the product and a description of the problem.
In the case of a CD/DVD /BD Player, please enclose ONE (I) disc that the unit has fai led with for test reasons. It wi ll be ret urned with the unit.
