Setting up the Radio
1. Plug the main’s plug into a wall socket and switch power on at the wall.
2. The display will be lit and a clock will then be displayed on the screen.
3. Unwrap the FM Antenna Cable and extend it fully.
4. eposition the FM Antenna Cable for optimum reception. The best position relies on the station and the
strength of the signal.
Note: The radio is designed to operate on a 230V mains supply. To back up the clock and alarm settings in
case of power failure, insert 1 x 9V battery into the battery compartment underneath the radio.
Listening to the Radio
1. Turn on the AM/FM radio function by sliding Function Switch to ON.
2. Select the desired waveband by sliding the AM/FM Switch.
3. Select the desired station by adjusting the Tuning Control, the tuned frequency can be found on the Dial
Scale of the radio.
4. Selected the desired volume by adjusting the Volume Control.
Setting the Time
1. When you first turn on the radio, the time will automatically start counting from 00:00.
2. To set the time, hold down the Time Set Button, and press the Hour Set Button until the desired hour is
set.
3. Hold down the Time Set Button, and press the Minute Set Button until the desired minute is set.
4. elease all buttons and the time will automatcally start counting.

Setting the Alarm
1. Select the desired station and volume level for your alarm. To wake to buzzer instead of radio, rotate the
Volume control towards BUZZ until hearing a click.
2. To set the alarm time, hold down the Alarm Set Button, and press the Hour Set Button until the desired
hour is set. Then hold down the Alarm Set Button, and press the Minute Set Button until the desired
minute is set.
3. elease the Alarm Set Button, and the current time will appear again.
4. To activate the alarm function, slide the Function Switch to AUTO, and a red dot will appear on the
display.
5. To view the set alarm time, press the Alarm Set Button.
6. To deactivate the alarm function, slide the Function Switch to OFF, and the red dot on the display will
then disappear.
When the Alarm Sounds
There are three options:
1. Press the Alarm Set Button and the alarm function will stop. The red dot will remain lit, and the alarm
will sound at the set alarm time every day.
2. Slide the Function Switch to OFF to deactivate the alarm function, and the red dot on the display will
then disappear.
3. Press the Snooze button to temporarily stop the alarm, and the alarm will sound again after 9 minutes.
4. To cancel the snooze function, slide the Function Switch to OFF and the alarm function will then be
deactivated.
Falling Asleep to Radio
1. Slide the Function Switch to either AUTO or OFF to turn off the radio after selecting the desired station
and volume level.
2. Press the Sleep Button and the radio will turn on again.
3. 0:59 is set as the default sleep time. To change the sleep period, hold down the Sleep Button, and press
the Hour Button to increase the time up to a maximum of 1:59, or press the Minute Button to decrease
this time.
4. The sleep period is set after releasing the Sleep Button, and the radio will play and turn itself off
automatically after the set sleep period.
5. To turn off the radio earlier, press the Snooze Button.
General Care
1. The cabinet can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth (make sure mains lead is disconnected from
mains supply).
2. Avoid leaving the clock radio in direct sunlight or in hot, humid, dusty places.
3. Keep the set away from heating appliances and appliances that generate noise, such as fluorescent
lamps, or motors.
