and retain in a safe place for future reference
Safety Instructions
This appliance is designed for domestic use ONLY. Any other use may result is in fire, electric
shock, damage to property and injury to persons.
DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged power cable or plug, after a malfunction or if it
has been damaged in any way. Return to an authorised service centre for evaluation and repair.
This appliance should be operated in the upright position on a flat, level surface.
Ensure the air inlets and outlets are not blocked or obstructed in any way. Allow a 10cm clearance
around the appliance.
DO NOT place/store objects on top of the appliance.
To prevent the risk of electric shock, DO NOT immerse the appliance, plug or power cable in water
or spray with liquids.
Turn the power OFF at the appliance before removing the plug.
Always unplug the appliance when not inuse or moving location. DO NOT remove the plug from
the socket outlet by pulling the cable. Remove by pulling the plug.
Always empty the water tank before storing the appliance.
Close supervision is required when operating the appliance near children or animals.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in asafe manner and
understand the hazards involved.
DO NOT run the power cord under carpets or rugs. Arrange the power cord away from areas
where it may cause a trip hazard. DO NOT operate the power cable near sharp edges.
Where possible, avoid the use of an extension cable as they may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
Repairs must be carried out by a qualified service person ONLY.
ONLY operate from a power supply as indicated on the rating label.

Operating Your Dehumidifier
Connect the DC jack plug in to the DC port of the appliance and the power adaptor in to the
socket outlet.
If the RED indicator light is illuminated then check the water tank is inserted correctly. When
fitted correctly, the indicator will illuminate BLUE.
The dehumidifier will stop automatically when the water tank is full. The indicator light will
illuminate RED and the dehumidifier will stop operating.
To empty the water tank, turn the power OFF and remove the tank in an outwards direction from
the back. Remove the black cover and discard the collected water. Re-fit the black cover on to
the water tank and return the tank in to the dehumidifier.
Wipe the appliance with a clean, dry cloth if required.

INDICATOR LIGHT
BLUE illumination - Normal operation
RED illumination - Water tank is FULL or not inserted correctly.
RED & Flashes every 5 seconds - When the ambient temperature is above 40°C or below 5°C
BLUE & Flashes every 3 seconds - Automatic defrost when temperature is between 5°C & 15°C
RED & Flashes every 3 seconds - A fault with the appliance.
Trouble Shooting
General Maintenance
Ensure the appliance is switched OFF and the power cord is removed from the mains
socket outlet.
Use a soft moist cloth to remove dirt & dust and wipe dry.
DO NOT use detergents, chemicals or solvents to aid cleaning.
Store the appliance in its original packaging in a well ventilated, dry place.
Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified service agent.
