Laundering and Care
1. Remove all panels and/ or any metal components prior to cleaning.
2. This brace can be hand washed in cold or lukewarm water with mild soap or detergent
and air dried
3. Outer shell may be wiped with mild soap and water
4. Do not use any substance containing Chlorine
Warning
1. Carefully read this application instruction and warning prior to fitting braces, failure to
properly position the brace and fasten each strap will compromise performance and
support.
2. This brace will Not prevent or reduce all injuries. Proper rehabilitation and activity
modification are essential while wearing the brace.
3. Federal Law restricts the sale of this Device to anyone other than a Licensed Health
Care Provider.
Caution
1. Single patient use only
2. Do not over-tighten closures
3. If irritation, pain or discomfort occurs while wearing this brace, discontinue use and
immediately consult your medical professional.
Ankle Stirrup Brace

1. Before application place an cottonsock or ankle wrap on patient’s ankle.
Spread the shells and place the patient’s heel on the heel strap (located
between the shells).
2. Place the shells against the sides of the ankle.
3. Compress the shells around the patient’s ankle, while securing straps
from bottom to top with velcro closure.
4. Adjust the vertical strap, placing both hands on straps, pulling upward
until desired fit. Secure vertical side strap with velcro closure.
5. Check for adequate circulation. Readjust straps as needed for a secure
and comfortable fit
DA09a Gel Cold Therapy
Remove therapeutic gel bag from ankle support system. Place in
freezer for 2 hours, then place gel bag back into the ankle support
and follow fitting instructions. Absorbent sock should be worn
before ankle support is fitted. Do Not place entire ankle support into
freezer.
DA09c Fit adjustment
The ankle brace is pre-inflated and should not need to be inflated
further. However, if you experience discomfort you may try these
things:1) Reposition the stabilizer and/or readjust other components:
or 2) Adjust air volume (keep in mind too much air will take away
support). To Add Air: Insert the tube into opening and blow into
tube, squeeze valve just below the tube and remove tube. To Remove
Air: Squeeze bladder and squeeze valve.
