Before you start
Check to ensure the existence of earth wire before connecting power supply.
Connect the power cord in the right way; keep an eye on maximum power
consumption.
Power Consumption
Read the following instructions carefully before the installation or operation of this
product
1. This power distribution unit (PDU) is for indoors use only.
2. Check to ensure that the marked nominal voltage is same as the service voltage
in the country or region. Any inconformity of such voltage is strictly forbidden,
3. For safety power consumption: Check to ensure that the supply line is grounded.
Power cord, plug and socket shall be in good conditions.
4. For safety power consumption of devices in a cabinet: Check to ensure that the
maximum power of such electronics or electrical equipment is less that the
maximum output power of this PDU. Any over-load operation is forbidden.
5. Never install PDU where excessive moisture is present.
6. Never install any electrical equipment or distribution unit during
a lightning storm.
7. This PDU is compatible with a power plug with the same socket only.
Connection to any other type of plugs may result in an unexpected event.
8. Only use supplied brackets for mounting.
9. To reduce the risk of electrical shock when grounding can’t be verified in good
condition, disconnect the product from power outlet before installing or
connecting any equipment.
Reconnect to the power outlet only after making all connections
10. Any unauthorized dismantling of the products is not permitted. The company
shall be responsible for any damaged resulting from unauthorized dismantling.
11. Occurrence of any disorders during the operation shall be the case to stop the
power supply immediately the case to disconnect the plug and to call a local
authorized dealer for their professional service.

Read the following carefully after power supply
1. In a PDU with surge protection module, there are 3 seperate indicators:
A: Red light: When active, means the absence of earth wire of the power supply
system, which shall be the case to contact an electrician for a professional
check and grounding.
B: Yellow light: When active, means that wire L and null wire N are not in the
correct position. Which shall be the case to contact an electrician for a
professional check and re-arrangement of such lines.
C: Green light: When not active, means the failure of the lightning protection
circuit.
2. PDU with hot swap surge protection module:
When the green LED indicator is active, the surge protection function of the unit
is normal. If not, then the unit is not functional. In the case of a non-functional
surge protection module, it has to be replaced with a new one. Once replaced,
the surge protection will then be restored.
3. PDU equipped with a fast-fused protection system
When a fuse is blown out without power output, disconnect the connected
equipment from the power supply. Turn the screw on the over-load protective
device in an Anti-clockwise direction and remove the fuse. Put a new fuse in the
protective device and turn the screw in a clockwise direction. A tight securing of
the screw ensures a normal operation.
4. PDU with minimum circuit breaker:
When the minimum circuit breaker cuts off the circuit loop, please switch off the
power supply. After fixing the issue, switch on the circuit breaker and then
connect the power supply.

1. Choose a proper location for mounting. Install two caged nuts (supplied),
align the nuts with the holes in the frame

2. Align the mounting holes on the bracket with the installed caged nuts, insert and
turn a screw in the tightened position.
Service
Technical service
For you defective PDU, you can
1. Contact your local dealer or technical support
2. Note the specification, batch number, serial number and data of purchase
3. Call customer supplier or authorized sales and service center on the phone,
the technician will be there at the first time to handles the defects.
