recommends installation by a professional installer.

Precautions:
Choose the mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal
driving function of the driver.

DIN FRONT-MOUNT (Method A)
Installing the unit:
1. Dashboard

After inserting the holder into the dashboard,
select the appropriate tab according to the
thickness of the dashboard material and
bend them inwards to secure the holder in
(Fig.1) place.

TO REMOVE HEAD UNIT FROM FRAME:
1. Frame
frame and pull out to remove the frame. (When
reattaching the frame, point the side with a
groove downwards and attach it.)
3. Levers
Insert the levers supplied with the unit into the
grooves at both sides of the unit and shown in
possible to remove the unit from the dashboard.

Fastening the unit to the factory radio mounting
bracket:
1. Select a position where the screw holes of
the bracket and the screw holes of the main unit
become aligned (are lifted) and tighten the screws
at 2 places on each side. Use either truss screws

Power On/Off & Volume
Press the PWR/VOLUME knob to switch the unit ON or OFF.
Turn this knob to adjust the VOLUME up or down.
Mode
Press the MOD button to select between AM / FM, USB, SD or AUX input modes.
Modes of operation are indicated in the display. SD and USB modes will not
appear unless an SD Card is inserted or a USB device is connected.
Display/Clock
The radio frequency (tuner mode) or MP3/WMA title/track information (USB and
SD models) will be shown by default. Press CLK to display the clock. The
EQ (USB & SD Files Only).
Press the EQ button to toggle between preset DSP effects:
Eq-0 (FLAT), Eq-1 (ROCK), Eq-2 (POP), Eq-3 (CLASSIC), Eq-4 (JAZZ).
Set The Clock
Press CLK to display the clock, then press and hold CLK until the hours will
volume knob to adjust the hours. Press the CLK button again
volume knob to adjust the minutes.
24- Hour Clock
The clock is displayed in 24-hour AUS/EURO frequency spacing mode.
Auxiliary Input
Insert a 3.5mm connector in the front panel AUX port input from any headphone
output of an external audio device. Change mode to display AUX by pressing
the MOD button.
Volume
Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob (00-30).
General Operation
Play/Pause/AMS (Auto Search Radio)
Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds when in radio mode to start
Automatic Station Store function. Stations will be stored in order from first to last.
Skip (Radio Mode)
Momentarily press the back or forward SKIP buttons to select stored preset radio
stations. Press and hold these buttons for 2 seconds to start station seek mode.

Skip (USB/SD Card Mode)
Momentarily press the back or forward SKIP buttons to select the previous or
next track by 1.
Press and hold the back or forward SKIP buttons for 2 seconds to select the
previous or next track by 10.
Remote (IR) Functions

4. Press to skip to previous track or preset station
Press and hold to skip to previous track by 10
5. Press to skip to next track or preset station

Connecting a USB Device (sold separately)

Troubleshooting
For advice on simple problems during the course of installation, debugging and
general use of the marine media player, please check the table below:
ISSUE OPTIONS
Unit will not turn
on (no power)
Cause: Yellow or red wire not connected or incorrect voltage
Action: Check connections for proper voltage (11~16VDC)
Cause: Black (GND) wire not connected
Action: Check connection to ground
Cause: Fuse blown
Action: Replace fuse
Unit has power
(but no sound)
Cause: Speaker wires not connected
Action: Check connections at speakers
Cause: One or more speaker wires touching each other or
touching chassis ground
Action: Insulate all bare speaker wires from each other
and chassis ground
Unit blows fuses
Cause: Yellow or Red wire touching chassis ground
Action: Check for pinched wire
Cause: Speaker wires touching chassis ground
Action: Check for pinched wire

Warranty
Warranty Policy
SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for twelve (12) months, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with
accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods
fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws and to other rights and remedies of the
consumer under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.
SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd will, at its sole discretion, provide you with a refund, repair or exchange of goods
(where possible) for the product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. SPL Wholesale Pty
Ltd will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where
the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.
Proof of Purchase
This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your purchase
docket, tax invoice or receipt as the best proof of purchase, and as proof of date on which the purchase
was made.
Extent of Warranty
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or parts will be
repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover batteries or any other consumable items or normal
wear and tear to the products or parts.
In addition, this warranty does not cover:–
• Any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of

• Any product that has been used for purposes other than domestic use.

How to Make a Claim
This warranty against defects is provided by SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd (A.C.N. 092 024 523), 74 Barrie
Road, Tullamarine, Victoria, 3043 Phone: (03) 9330 3588. If a defect in the goods appears within the
warranty period, contact the retailer from where you have purchased the goods and ask that retailer to
contact SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd regarding a warranty claim that you would like to make. You will need
to provide the retailer with information regarding the defect and your contact details and you will need to
consent to the retailer passing those contact details on to SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd.
Repairs
You should be aware that, in the event that certain types of goods are provided to SPL Wholesale Pty
Ltd for repair, you may lose some user-generated data in the goods as a result of the repairs carried
out by SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd. Accordingly, it is your responsibility to back-up any personal data before
returning the goods to SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd. In addition, SPL Wholesale Pty Ltd may, in its sole
discretion, use refurbished parts in the repair process.
