Description
The expansion, series H2FL, allows the fault location on the LV networks with neutral to ground ( IT-M . To operate, the instrument must mandatory
be installed in combination with the SRI3/I2INJ. Each expansion series H2FL allows to manage maximum of 18 departures.At the end of the fault
location procedure (which it will have duration, that depends on how many departures are installed in the system is possible visualize on dispaly of
H2FL, in clearly and intuitively mode, what departures have got a resistive loss to ground and it allows to disconnect temporary the system and
making maintenance intervention.
Safety Precaution and application tips for installation
All installation and maintenance operations must be performed by qualified personnel, in the absence of voltage and total electrical safety system, in
compliance with the regulations.Toroidal transducers compatible with series H2FL are exclusively the split toroidal transducer, series TD15.For right
installation of toroidal transducers follow the instruction on FIG.1 and FIG. 2 in the first page.
Before powering up the device, check that all connections have been made correctly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The devices H2FL12 and H2FL18 can work only with SRI3/I2INJ and also in combination of opened toroidal transducers series
TD15.These is a mandatory condition for a correct use.

When the device is powered on, it will establish a connection with SRI3/I2INJ. During this phase the display
is green and shows the Dossena logo with the written "CONNECTING", which indicate the connection
between the expansion H2FL and its IMD is in progress. When the connection is established the devices will
be in the normal state of operation, and on display of expansion H2FL are constantly displayed the departures
connected, and their status. In the absence of faults and problems, the display is green and the histograms
are empty. On display are always display the name of product and software version. The software version

OPERATING MODE
Keys functions
1= No function
2= Press for at least of 3 sec to enter/exit from SETUP
3= push for contrast adjustment
4= push for changing visualized information
Note: Following strong and anomalous electromagnetic stresses, it may happen that the symbology on the
display disappears. Push the last button below to restore normal operation.
FAULT LOCATION MODE
When the IMD detects an insulation loss, below the threshold set, it actives the fault location procedure by injecting a special signal, electronically
controlled, into the network. The display of insulation monitor device will be yellow and the display of H2FL turns red and yellow and flashes the
symbol of each toroidal transducer that is subject to verification. During this phase, you cannot perform any operation. The measure of the
insulation resistance (Ra is not available aboard of SRI3/ I2INJ. It appears dashed, until the fault location procedure will finish.
The fault location procedure will be automatic, if in SETUP, you will set the parameter MODE FL=AUTO, otherwise by pushing LOC you will start
the research in manual mode,which is repeatable multiple times, if the fault condition remain.
At the end of fault location procedure, the display of H2FL turns red. The departures in dispersion will be
recognized, thanks to theirs histograms, which will never be empty, but whose filling is proportional to the
amount of insulation loss detected. By pressing the right arrow key (last down it's possible view the phases
on which the insulation loss has been detected. (L1=phase1 – L2=phase2 – S=both pahses .
When SRI3/I2INJ detects proper insulation in the network, the IMD system returns to normal state of
vigilance and display will be green.
SETTING
2= Press for at least 3 seconds to enter/exit from SETUP function, press shortly to scroll and modify the
parameters (in a cyclic mode . After 1 minute of inactivity in SET UP state, H2FL automatically backs to
reading measure, without modifying the parameters changes .
3 e 4= Push to increase or decrease value selected.
NR= Number of departures to verify: 1 ÷ 18 for H2FL18 and 1 ÷ 12 for H2FL12
NODE= Number of node on the network of H2FL [default 1]
BAUD= Serial speed
