Effective, focused ambient air drying.
SAFETY WARNINGS
DANGER: Do not place unit in standing or
running water. This may cause a risk of
electrical shock. Keep units out of baths, and do
not operate on a wet floor.
DANGER: Do not remove or alter the grounding plug. Do
not use the unit for any reason if it cannot be properly
grounded. Be sure to turn off unit and unplug unit from
outlet when not in use or before servicing. To prevent
damage to the cord, always unplug unit by grasping the
plug.
DANGER: The Dri-Dog is not a toy. Keep away from
children at all times.
WARNING: Do not allow any material to clog or
block air intakes, as this may cause units to
overheat and result in a fire or electrical hazard.
Regularly clear hair, lint and other substances from air
intakes.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Use the Dri-Dog to blow dirt and undercoat out of a dog
before grooming, to do fast and easy rough cuts, to get
rid of unwanted undercoat, or to separate matted hair. Use
the Dri-Dog after bathing a pet, to blow off the excess
water for faster drying. Use the Dri-Dog to dry quickly and
fluff before finishing the pet.
Caution: Do not blow air from the rubber cone directly into
a pet’s face, ears, or eyes. The forceful air may cause
injury to the pet. For drying these sensitive areas, or for
drying cats, try removing the rubber cone or unscrew the
entire handle assembly from the hose using the gentle
airflow.
Using your Dri-Dog: Plug in the unit. Hold the pet with
one hand to keep it calm. With the other hand, hold the
nozzle firmly and then turn on the switch to the speed you
desire.
1. Use the Dri-Dog to remove undercoat and dirt and
to loosen matted hair. Starting from rear of the pet,
slowly blow and separate the coat, exposing the skin.
Continue this procedure until all undercoat is released.
2. Use at the bathtub to blow off excess water after
bathing. First towel-dry the pet to remove dripping water.
Then start at the rear and use short fast strokes to blow off
excess water. Make sure to blow moisture off the pet from
the skin out, not just on the top of the coat.
3. Use at the grooming table to dry and fluff the pet
before finishing. Use the Dri-Dog at two different speeds,
with or without the rubber cone, depending on your drying
needs. The unit produces just enough heat to speed the
drying process without danger to the pet. A pet’s coat will
fluff and straighten during the drying process. Even if the
pet is already dry and needs more fluffing, the Dri-Dog will
help produce a straight, fluffy coat and enhance your
finishing groom for a quality look.
Other uses for your Dri-Dog

grooming table.
xUse to remove dust and hair when cleaning
TurboDryers and other equipment.

day, to avoid mold and mildew there.

MAINTENANCE
Unplug Before Cleaning. To prevent risk of
electrical shock, be sure you unplug the unit
before cleaning. Do NOT immerse the housing in
water.
Clean the Dri-Dog filter regularly to prevent over-heating
and loss of power. As hair builds up on the filter (located
on the bottom of the unit) just reach down and swipe off
the hair. Occasionally remove the filter by pulling it out of
the two holders.
Vacuum out hair and dirt, or wash the filter with soap
and running water. Be sure filter is completely dry before
reinstalling it in the Dri-Dog.
Wipe off the Dri-Dog housing, nozzle, cone and hose
with soap and damp cloth. To keep the housing shiny,
occasionally apply a vinyl cleaner protectant like those
designed for plastic surfaces in automobiles.
