General information
Product: Electric heater
Type: DEH5/DEH9
With an airflow of 793 m³/h (DEH5) and 1198 m³/h (DEH9) , these
heaters are suitable for heating medium-sized rooms such as
warehouses and workshops, optimally and cleanly.
The DEH5 is switchable between stage 1, where only the fan is
running, stage 2 with 2.5kW and stage 3 with 5kW. The DEH9 is
switchable between stage 1, where only the fan is running, stage
2 with 4.5kW and stage 3 with 9kW.
The step-less adjustable thermostat ensures comfortable heat up
to the set number of kW. The overheating protection contributes
to safe use of the heater in your operating situation. The relatively
quiet fan (48-49dB) makes this heater ideal for use in workshops.
Please note: the electric heaters are supplied without power
cord.
Safety warnings
• Always disconnect the appliance electrically before you
moves or carries out maintenance.
• Repairs to the electrical part of the machine may only be
carried out by an authorised and qualified company.
• Always operate the appliance on a power source with the
same voltage, frequency and power as indicated on the
product identification plate.
• The air inlet - and outlet must be free at all times.
• Do not use or place the appliance in rooms or environments-
with a risk of explosion.
• Do not use the device in aggressive atmospheres.
• Do not use the device on a metal surface.
• Do not use the device around children.
• Do not pierce or burn the device.
• Place the device stably on a solid surface.
• Do not use or operate the device with damp or wet hands.
• Do not expose the appliance and plug to water.
• Never insert objects or limbs into the appliance.
• Do not cover the appliance during operation.
• Do not sit on the device.
• The appliance is not a toy. Keep children and animals away.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around as it can be
dangerous for children.
• Only use the appliance under supervision.
• Before each use, check the accessories and their connecting
parts for possible damage. Do not use defective devices or
parts.
• Make sure that all electrical cables outside the device are
protected from damage (e.g. by animals). Never use the
device if electrical cables or the mains connection are
damaged!
• Plug into a fused socket.
• When using extension cords, unwind the extension cord fully.
Avoid electrical overloading.
• Before maintenance, care or repair work switch off the
appliance and pull the plug out of the socket (when doing so,
do not pull the cord but the plug only).
• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket
when you are not using the appliance.
• Never use the appliance if you notice any damage to power
cable or plug.
• When setting up the appliance, observe sufficient distance
from walls and objects as well as the storage and operating
conditions.
• Do not remove any safety symbols, stickers or labels from
the device. Keep all safety symbols, stickers and labels in a
legible condition.
• Parts of the appliance may become hot. Take special care
when particular care when children or other persons are
present.
Special safety instructions
• Before use, check the marking on the power cord. Depending
on the type of power cord, this appliance can be used in
different environmental conditions.

When using an electrical appliance, basic
precautions should be observed as described below:
• The heater is not suitable for outdoor use in humid weather,
in bathrooms or in other wet or damp environments.
• Please note that the heater can get very hot and should
therefore be positioned at a safe distance (at least 30 cm )
from flammable objects such as furniture.
• Do not cover the stove.
• The stove must not be placed directly under a wall
socketplaced.
• Do not connect the stove with an on/off timer or other
equipment that can automatically switch the appliance on/off.

This operating manual may not be reproduced, duplicated or
distributed without written permission from the manufacturer.
Important: Read the manual carefully before use. Keep the
manual for future reference

• If an extension cord is used, it must be as short as possible
and always be fully unrolled. The extension cord must be
equipped with protective earth and must not exceed 10
metres long. The thickness of the wires must be at least 5 x
2.5².
• Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub-
shower or a swimming pool.
• Do not place the device on moving vehicles or in a place
where it can easily tip over.
• Keep the stove far from curtains or places where the air
intake can be easily blocked.
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal
waste, but use separate collection facilities. Contact your
local authority for information about the available collection
systems. If electrical appliances are disposed of in the
wrong place, hazardous hazardous substances into the
groundwater and food chain that are harmful to your health
and well-being.
Use
Use the DEH electric heater only for heating of enclosed spaces.
These include areas such as: construction containers, warehouse
and production halls, workshops, garages and greenhouses.
First-time use
When using the heater for the first time, there may be a slight
smoke development. This is quite normal and will stop after a
short period of time. The heating element is made of stainless
steel and was treated with protective oil during production.
The smoke is caused by the protective oil burning off on first use.
• Position the heater so that it is straight on a solid surface
and at a safe distance from wet environments and flammable
objects.
• Connect the heater to the mains.
• Set thermostat knob to MAX and let heater run at full power.
• The stove will switch on when the heat switch is set to one of
the power settings.
• Once the room has reached the desired temperature the
heating element will stop working. However, the fan will
continue to operate. As soon as the temperature has dropped
below set point, the heating element will start working again.
The heater will now start, stop automatically and keep the
room temperature constant.
• Before switching off the heater, turn the thermostat to the
MIN position and turn the switch to the fan only position and
allow the appliance to cool for two minutes. Then turn off the
heater and pull the plug out of the socket.

Emergency
1. In the event of an emergency, ensure that the appliance is
switched off ASAP switched off and the plug is removed from
the socket.
2. Secure the environment, get everyone out of a possible
danger zone.
3. Do not reconnect a defective device!
Maintenance and cleaning
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down. The housing gets dirty
easily, therefore wipe it regularly with a soft sponge. For all
dirty parts, wipe with a sponge dipped in <50 °C water and a
mild detergent, then dry the stove housing with a clean cloth.
Ensure that water does not penetrate into the appliance. Do
not splash water on the stove, never use solvents such as
petrol etc. to clean the stove, this to protect the housing.
• Clean the power cable and plug, dry it and put these in a
plastic bag.
Storage
When storing the heater, first let it cool down and keep it dry.
Then cover the stove with a plastic bag, put it in a packing box
and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
Warranty
• Warranty applies only to appliances purchased from Dryfast
(via a dealer).
• The manufacturer provides a one-year manufacturer’s
warranty from the date of purchase on all parts except the
power cable
• In case of any modification both electrical and mechanical,
as well as misuse of the appliance through improper voltage
use, the guarantee becomes null and void.
• To obtain replacement parts under warranty proof of
purchase is required.

Instructions for power cable
1. Five-pin connector 380V / 415V 50 Hz/ 16A
2. Mains cable 5 x 2.5²mm

• The user must use the purchased power cable as shown on
‘figure 1’. The cable must match the appliance and extend
the earth connection. The coupling must be NEN approved.
• When connecting the power plug to the appliance, open the
cover and insert the plug into the power socket.
• After use, first switch off the appliance, pull the plug out of
the mains socket and then remove the plug from the heater
socket

Faults

Algemene informatie
Product: Elektrische kachel
Type: DEH5/DEH9
Met een luchtopbrengst van 793 m³/uur (DEH5) en 1198 m³/uur
(DEH9) zijn deze elektrische kachels geschikt om middelgrote
ruimtes zoals magazijnen en werkplaatsen, optimaal en schoon te
verwarmen.
De DEH5 is schakelbaar tussen stand 1 waarbij alleen de
ventilator draait, stand 2 met 2,5kW en stand 3 met 5kW. De
DEH9 is schakelbaar tussen stand 1 waarbij alleen de ventilator
draait, stand 2 met 4,5kW en stand 3 met 9kW.
De traploos instelbare thermostaat zorgt voor een comfortabele
warmte tot het ingestelde aantal kW. De overhittingsbeveiliging
draagt bij aan een veilig gebruik van de kachel in uw bedrijfssi-
tuatie. Door de relatief stille ventilator (48-49dB) is deze kachel
uitermate geschikt om in werkplaatsen te gebruiken.
Let op: de elektrische kachels worden zonder voedingskabel
geleverd.
Veiligheidswaarschuwingen
• Koppel het apparaat altijd elektrisch los voordat u het
verplaatst of onderhoud uitvoert.
• Reparaties aan het elektrische gedeelte van de machine
mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden door een daartoe bevoegd
en gekwalificeerd bedrijf.
• Gebruik het apparaat altijd op een voedingsbron met
hetzelfde voltage, dezelfde frequentie en hetzelfde vermogen
als aangegeven op het identificatieplaatje van het product.
• De luchtinlaat - en uitlaat dienen te allen tijde vrij te zijn.
• Gebruik en plaats het apparaat niet in ruimten of omgevingen
met explosiegevaar.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in agressieve atmosferen.
• Gebruik het toestel niet op een metalen oppervlak.
• Gebruik het toestel niet bij kinderen.
• Het apparaat niet doorboren of verbranden.
• Plaats het apparaat stabiel op een stevige ondergrond.
• Gebruik of bedien het apparaat niet met vochtige of natte
handen.
• Stel het apparaat en stekker niet bloot aan water.
• Steek nooit voorwerpen of ledematen in het apparaat.
• Dek het apparaat niet af tijdens gebruik.
• Ga niet op het apparaat zitten.
• Het apparaat is geen speelgoed. Houd kinderen en dieren op
afstand.
• Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet rondslingeren. Voor
kinderen kan dit gevaarlijk zijn.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen onder toezicht.
• Controleer voor elk gebruik van het apparaat de accessoires
en aansluitonderdelen hiervan op mogelijke beschadigingen.
Gebruik geen defecte apparaten of onderdelen.
• Zorg dat alle elektrische kabels buiten het apparaat zijn
beschermd tegen beschadigingen (bijv. door dieren). Gebruik
het apparaat nooit bij schade aan elektrische kabels of aan
de netaansluiting!
• Steek de stekker in een gezekerd stopcontact.
• Bij het gebruik van verlengsnoeren, rol het verlengsnoer
volledig uit. Voorkom elektrische overbelasting.
• Schakel voor onderhouds-, verzorgings- of reparatiewerk-
zaamheden het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het
stopcontact (trek hierbij niet aan het snoer van de stekker).
• Schakel het apparaat uit en verwijder het netsnoer uit het
stopcontact als u het apparaat niet gebruikt.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als u schade aan voedingskabel of
stekker constateert.
• Houd bij het opstellen van het apparaat rekening met de
voldoende afstand t.o.v. wanden en objecten evenals met de
opslag- en gebruiksomstandigheden.
• Verwijder geen veiligheidssymbolen, stickers of etiketten
van het apparaat. Houd alle veiligheidssymbolen, stickers en
etiketten in een leesbare toestand.
• Onderdelen van het apparaat kunnen warm worden Let
vooral goed op als kinderen of andere personen aanwezig
zijn.
Speciale veiligheidsvoorschriften
• Contoleer voor het gebruik de markering op het netsnoer.
Afhankelijk van het type netsnoer kan dit apparaat in
verschillende omgevingsomstandigheden worden gebruikt.

Bij gebruik van een elektrisch apparaat moeten altijd de basis
voorzorgsmaatregelen worden gevolgd zoals hieronder om-
schreven:
• De kachel is niet geschikt voor gebruik buitenshuis bij
vochtig weer, in badkamers of in andere natte of vochtige
omgevingen.
Bedieningshandleiding
Deze bedieningshandleiding mag zonder schriftelijke
toestemming van de fabrikant niet worden gereproduceerd,
vermenigvuldigd of verspreid.
Belangrijk: Lees de handleiding zorgvuldig vóór gebruik.
Bewaar de handleiding om deze later te kunnen raadplegen.

• Houd er rekening mee dat de kachel erg warm kan worden
en daarom moet worden geplaatst op een veilige afstand
(minimaal 30 cm )van brandbare voorwerpen zoals meubels.
• Dek de kachel niet af.
• De kachel mag niet direct onder een stopcontact worden
geplaatst.
• Sluit de kachel niet aan met een aan/uit timer of andere ap-
paratuur die het apparaat automatisch kan in-/uitschakelen.
• Als een verlengsnoer wordt gebruikt, moet deze zo kort
mogelijk zijn en altijd volledig worden uitgerold. Het verleng-
snoer moet voorzien zijn van randaarde en mag maximaal 10
meter lang zijn. De dikte van de aders moet minimaal
5 x 2,5² zijn.
• Gebruik deze kachel niet in de directe omgeving van een bad,
douche of een zwembad.
• Plaats het apparaat niet op bewegende voertuigen of op een
plaats waar deze makkelijk kan omvallen.
• Houd de kachel ver van gordijnen of plaatsen waar de
luchtinlaat gemakkelijk kan worden geblokkeerd.
• Gooi elektrische apparaten niet weg als ongesorteerd
gemeentelijk afval, maar gebruik gescheiden inzamelvoorzie-
ningen. Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie
over de beschikbare inzamelsystemen. Als elektrische
apparaten worden verwijderd op de verkeerde plaats kunnen
gevaarlijke stoffen in het grondwater en voedselketen
terechtkomen die schadelijk zijn voor uw gezondheid en
welzijn.
Gebruik
Gebruik de DEH elektrische kachels uitsluitend voor verwarming
van gesloten ruimten. Denk hierbij aan ruimten als:
bouwcontainers, magazijn- en productiehallen, werkplaatsen,
garages en kassen.
Eerste keer in gebruik
Wanneer u de kachel voor de eerste keer gebruikt, kan er een
lichte rookontwikkeling optreden. Dit is heel normaal en stopt ook
na een korte periode. Het verwarmingselement is gemaakt van
roestvrij staal en is tijdens de productie behandeld met bescher-
mingsolie. De rook wordt veroorzaakt door de beschermingsolie
bij verwarming.
• Plaats de kachel zodat deze recht op een stevige ondergrond
staat en op een veilige afstand van natte omgevingen en
ontvlambare objecten.
• Sluit de kachel aan op het stroomnet.
• Zet de thermostaatknop op MAX en laat kachel op vol
vermogen werken.
• De kachel wordt ingeschakeld als de warmteschakelaar op
een van de vermogensinstellingen is ingesteld.
• Zodra de kamer de gewenste temperatuur heeft bereikt
zal het verwarmingselement worden uitgeschakeld,
de ventilator zal echter wel blijven werken. Zodra de
temperatuur is gedaald zal het verwarmingselement weer
gaan werken. De kachel start, stopt nu automatisch en houdt
de kamertemperatuur constant.
• Voordat u de kachel uitschakelt, draait u de thermostaat
naar de stand MIN en draait u de schakelaar naar de
ventilatorstand, laat het apparaat twee minuten afkoelen,
schakel vervolgens de verwarming uit en trek de stekker uit
het stopcontact.

Noodgevallen
1. Zorg ervoor dat bij een noodgeval het apparaat z.s.m. wordt
uitgeschakeld en de stekker uit het stopcontact wordt
verwijderd.
2. Stel de omgeving veilig, haal iedereen uit een mogelijke
gevarenzone.
3. Sluit een defect apparaat niet opnieuw aan!
Onderhoud en reiniging
• Voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt, haalt u de stekker uit
het stopcontact en laat u het apparaat afkoelen. De behuizing
raakt gemakkelijk vervuild, veeg deze daarom regelmatig
af met een zachte spons. Voor alle vuile onderdelen, veeg
met een spons gedompeld in water van <50 °C en een mild
reinigingsmiddel, droog de behuizing van de kachel dan met
een schone doek. Zorg ervoor dat het water niet binnendringt
in het apparaat. Spat geen water op de kachel, gebruikt nooit
oplosmiddelen zoals benzine etc. om de kachel te reinigen,
dit om de behuizing te beschermen.
• Maak de voedingskabel en stekker schoon, droog het en doe
deze in een plastic zak.
Opslag
Wanneer u de kachel opslaat, laat deze dan eerst afkoelen en
houdt deze droog. Bedek de kachel vervolgens met een plastic
zak, zet deze in een verpakkingsdoos en bewaar deze op een
droge, geventileerde plaats.
Garantie
• Garantie geldt alleen voor de apparaten die bij Dryfast (via
een dealer) zijn aangeschaft.
• De fabrikant geeft een eenjarige fabrieksgarantie vanaf de
aankoopdatum op alle onderdelen behalve de voedingskabel
• Bij iedere wijziging zowel elektrisch als mechanisch, alsmede
misbruik van het apparaat d.m.v. verkeerd voltage gebruik,
komt de garantie te vervallen.

• Om onder garantie vervangende onderdelen te verkrijgen
dient u het aankoopbewijs te kunnen overleggen.

• De gebruiker moet de gekochte stroomkoppeling gebruiken
zoals wordt getoond op ‘figuur 1’. De koppeling moet
overeenkomen met het apparaat en de aarding verlengen. De
koppeling moet NEN goedgekeurd zijn.
• Wanneer u de stroomaansluiting op het apparaat aansluit,
opent u de deksel en stop de plug in de stekkeraansluiting.

• Schakel na gebruik eerst het apparaat uit, trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact en verwijder de plug uit de
stekkeraansluiting.

DEH9 - De elektrische kachel slaat uit Doordat de kachel te warm is geworden, slaat
de kachel uit door de thermische beveiliging. Deze dient nu handmatig gereset te worden.
Doe dit door het reset knopje in te drukken (met

gepaste druk. Deze knop zit aan de voorkant,
naast de thermostaatknop.
Let op: altijd eerst de kachel elektrisch
loskoppelen!
De kachel werkt niet, zelfs wanneer

Informations générales

Type : DEH5/ DEH9
Avec un débit d’air de 793 m³/h (DEH5) et de 1198 m³/h (DEH9),
ces radiateurs électriques conviennent pour chauffer de manière
optimale et propre des espaces de taille moyenne tels que des
entrepôts et des ateliers.
Le DEH5 est commutable entre le stade 1 avec seulement le
ventilateur en marche, le stade 2 avec 2,5kW et le stade 3 avec
5kW. Le DEH9 est commutable entre le stade 1 avec seulement
le ventilateur en marche, le stade 2 avec 4,5kW et le stade 3 avec
9kW.
Le thermostat réglable en continu assure une chaleur confortable
jusqu’au nombre de kW réglé. La protection contre la surchauffe
contribue à une utilisation sûre de l’appareil dans votre situation
de fonctionnement. Le ventilateur relativement silencieux (48-49
dB) rend ce poêle idéal pour une utilisation en atelier.
Remarque : les radiateurs électriques sont fournis sans câble
d’alimentation.

Lors de l’utilisation d’un appareil électrique, les règles de base
Il convient de prendre les précautions décrites ci-dessous :
• Le poêle n’est pas adapté à une utilisation en extérieur dans
temps humide, dans les salles de bains ou dans d’autres
endroits humides ou mouillés environnements.
• Le poêle ne doit pas être placé directement sous une prise
murale.placé.
• Ne pas raccorder le poêle à une minuterie ou à un autre
équipement.qui peut allumer et éteindre automatiquement
l’appareil.
• Si une rallonge est utilisée, elle doit être aussi courte que
possible.et toujours être entièrement déroulé. La rallonge
doit être équipé d’une terre de protection et ne doit pas
dépasser les limites suivantes 10 mètres de long. L’épaisseur
des fils doit être d’au moins 3 x 2.5².
• N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité immédiate d’une
baignoire.une douche ou une piscine.
• Ne pas placer l’appareil sur des véhicules en mouvement ou
dans une endroit où il peut facilement se renverser.
• Gardez le poêle loin des rideaux ou des endroits où les
l’admission d’air peut être facilement bloquée.
• Ne pas jeter les appareils électriques non triés les déchets
municipaux, mais utilisent des installations de collecte
séparées. Contactez votre autorité locale pour obtenir des

Utilisez
Utilisez le radiateur électrique DEH uniquement pour chauffer des
endroits fermés. Il s’agit notamment des domaines suivants
conteneurs de construction, halls d’entrepôt et de production,
ateliers, garages et serres.
Première utilisation
Lors de la première utilisation de la poêle, une légère fumée peut
se produire. C’est tout à fait normal et cela cessera après un court
laps de temps. L’élément chauffant est en acier inoxydable et a
été traité avec une huile protectrice pendant la production. La
fumée est causée par l’huile de protection pendant le chauffage.
• Placez le réchaud de manière à ce qu’il soit droit sur une
surface ferme et à une distance sûre des environnements
humides et des objets inflammables.
• Raccordez le poêle au réseau électrique.
• Réglez le bouton du thermostat sur MAX et laissez le poêle
fonctionner à plein régime le pouvoir.
• Le poêle s’allume lorsque le commutateur de chaleur est
réglé sur l’un des paramètres de puissance est réglé.
• Une fois que la pièce a atteint la température souhaitée
l’élément chauffant cessera de fonctionner, Cependant, le
ventilateur continuera à fonctionner. Dès que le température
a baissé, l’élément chauffant recommencer à travailler. Le

1. En cas d’urgence, assurez-vous que l’appareil est éteint dès

Entretien et nettoyage

mettez-les en place. dans un sac en plastique.
Stockage
Lorsque vous rangez le poêle, laissez-le d’abord refroidir et
gardez-le au sec. Couvrez ensuite la cuisinière avec un plastique
sac, le mettre dans une boîte d’emballage et le stocker dans un
un endroit sec et ventilé.
