INTRODUCTION
This bench is designed to support the AP1 or AP2 Curtain Eyelet Setting Machine. The bench is supplied in
flat pack form and is pre-drilled to accept the machine head.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE ASSEMBLY
Before assembly ensure that the work surface is flat and clean.
ASSEMBLY
1. Take one of the Z Legs and hold with the feet pointing downward. Push one of the M10 washers over a
M10x75mm Cap Head Bolt and then push the bolt through the hole in the side of the leg at the top. As shown
below.
2. Take one of the cross bars and screw it onto the bolt. Do not fully tighten, finger tightness is fine.

3. Push another one of the M10 washers over another M10x75mm Cap Head Bolt. Take the second Z leg and
then push the bolt through the hole in the outside of the leg at the top as illustrated below. Finger tighten the
bolt.
4. Repeat the process for the top cross bar at the bottom of the legs by taking the second cross bar and the
remaining M10x75mm Cap Head Bolt and M10 Washers. Push the bolts through the holes in the side of the
leg at the bottom and finger tighten as previously.

5. Turn the frame over so that the feet are at the top. Using a tape measure diagonally across to the centre of
each foot. This is done to ensure that the bench frame is square. Twist the frame gently until the diagonal
measurements across the feet are equal. Repeat this process by measuring the hole centres on the lower part
of the frame. Once the frame is square tighten the bolts through the cross bars using an 8mm Allen key.
6. Turn the frame over and adjust the feet using the 13mm spanner. Loosen the nuts on the feet. The feet can
then be screwed in or out of the frame in order to make a stable base. Once the feet have been adjusted
tighten the nuts against the frame.

7. Take the bench top and place it over the frame so that the four holes in the top align with the holes in the
frame.
8. Take the four M10x80mm Countersunk Head Bolts and push them through the holes in the bench.
9. Take the four M10 Nuts and finger tighten them over each of the bolts that have been pushed through the
bench.

10. Using the 6mm Allen key and the 17mm spanner tighten each of the table top nuts and bolts in turn.
11. The completed bench is shown below.
12. Finally, check that the bench is stable on the surface and does not rock and ensure that all the bolts are fully
tight.
13. The machine head can now be bolted to the bench.
