1. Safety
Paragl d ng s a potent ally hazardous sport. When fly ng a paragl der you have to accept r sks of njury and/or even death.
Incompetent or mproper use of the harness may ncrease those r sks. In case of any doubts please ask your dealer or manufacturer.

2. Descr pt on
The Jazz was des gned for cross country p lots, look ng for very l ght and comfortable harness w th foootrest. Ma n po nts on the
w shl st were mprovements n ergonom cs and further we ght reduct on. Very small we ght and d mens ons when packed nto a
backpack make mounta n h kes a pleasure. Due to l ght, carbon seat board as well as other l ght mater als the Jazz we ghs just 2,92 kg
n M s ze. Comfortable, vent lated backrest and a new, ergonom c seat w th prof led board ensure max mum comfort dur ng the fl ght.
Large adjustment range makes sure that every s ngle p lot w ll be able to f nd h s/her opt mum. Redes gned strap scheme br ngs great
stab l ty and s gn f cantly reduces danger of launch ng w th leg/chest straps not cl pped n. The Jazz s equ pped w th a cert f ed, 15 cm
th ck a rfoam protector. The rescue chute s located n the frontconta ner wh ch s equ pped w th add t onal nstrument shelf, hous ng
the safety kn fe too. Under the seat plate you can f nd a small waterballast pocket. It can be used for anyth ng else, too. The harness
features eas ly replaceable, ball-bear ng Duroll pulleys for better speedsystem operat on.

3. Rescue chute nstallat on
Connect the release handle to the po nt n the m ddle
of the bag.
Connect the v-strap to the rescue chute r ser.

wrench.

Place the open frontconta ner as shown on the r ght p cture.

Lead the ass st l nes through the loops of the #1 flaps.
Then lead the ass st l nes through the loops of
# 2 flap and lock them w th temporary p ns.

# 3 flap and lock them w th temporary p ns.
Remove the temporary p ns and replace them w th those
of the release handle.

Gently pull the ass st l nes out.

T ps of the p ns are to be shoved nto pouches on the #3 flap.

Place the ends of the release handle n ded cated pouches on the
#2 flap.
Close the p ns cover w th a velcro strap.

Push the rema n ng parts f the #1 flaps ns de and form the
frontconta ner.

To avoid accidental opening of the rescue system, pins closing the container must be checked before each flight!
The rescue chute must be per od cally a red and repacked accord ng to ts manual. The Jazz harness w ll best accommodate l ght
rescue chutes Globe L ght 90 or Globe L ght 110 manufactured by Dudek Paragl ders It s poss ble to use rescue parachutes by other
manufacturers too, as long as the r d mens ons when packed do not exceed those of the conta ner.

After each installation of a rescue chute in a frontcontainer a compatibility test is necessary. In order to do that, hang the harness,
e uipped as ready for flight. Seat down in the harness and assume your usual position in flight. Grab the frontcontainer release
handle and pull it to the side in a resolute effort, so that the parachute is completely out of the container. Still, do not throw it away,
so that the bag remains closed. If the trial was successful, put the rescue chute back into the frontcontainer.

4. Frontconta ner
The rescue chute frontconta ner (1) w th a centrally placed, well v s ble
release handle (2) s f xed to the chest strap. Short v-strap (3) s ntegrated
w th the chest strap and cl pped nto ma n carab ners w th t. There s an add t onal nstrument panel
featur ng safety kn fe (4) attached to the conta ner.

5. Footrest
Jazz harness was des gned to fly w th a footrest. It enhances comfort n long fl ghts, helps s tt ng nto the harness after launch and
pos t vely nfluences steer ng. It s f xed to the harness n four po nts – to the carab ners and s des of the seat (5), and ts length s
adjustable (1). Lower part of the footrest retracts when not n use. Des gned n th s way the footrest does not d sturb you dur ng
launch and s eas er to f nd n fl ght.
