5. Before f ight
Before each f ight a thorough check of the frontcontainer is required. For your own safety make sure that:
- the container is not damaged in any way
- it is proper y c osed and ocked with pins
- rescue chute re ease hand e is correct y set up and has the right shape (quite often it happens to be ma formed in transport, so it’s
important to check if it’s not f attened and remains easy to grab)
- the main carabiners are c osed, ocked and free of any damage
6. Operation and repairs
The Sit&F y 90 and 110 frontcontainers are an exceptiona y ight equipment, designed for specific use. Due to
ight and de icate materia s used the harness is susceptib e to damages caused by improper operation. P ease bear in mind that
service ife of this product direct y depends on your awareness and carefu hand ing.
Periodic contro of the frontcontainer’s condition wi keep it in safe operation for a ong time.
Corresponding y, after each use of rescue chute thorough y check the frontcontainer for damages, paying particu ar attention to the
straps and seams. Damaged v-riser is no onger airworthy and is to be rep aced. Sma tears in the container can be repaired on your
own by app ying se f-adhesive c oth patches on both surfaces. In case of any doubts p ease contact your dea er or manufacturer
and/or send it to an authorized workshop for c oser inspection.
