POCKET WEIGHING SCALE

Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
• Avoiding exposure to extreme heat or cold, your scale works better when operated
at normal room temperature.
• Always allow the scale to acclimate to normal room temperature for at least 1 hour
before use.
• Allow sufcient warm up time. Usually 30 seconds to give the internal components
time to stabilize before calibration or use.
• Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents
and a close proximity to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect
on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
• Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the tray top.
• Avoid shaking, dropping or otherwise shocking the scale. This is a precision
instrument and must be handled with extreme care.
• Only operate the scale on a stable, at, vibration free surface.
• Always remove the batteries if the scales are not to be used for long periods.

TARE WEIGHING:
• Turn on scale as described above.
• Place the “tare item” (eg container) on the platform.
• Press [TARE] and wait until “0.0” is displayed.
• Add the “net-weight-item” (into the container0 and the screen will display the
weight.
COUNTING FUNCTION
• Turn on the scale and wait until the LCD displays“0.0”.
• Place a sample amount (25pcs, 50pcs, 75pcs or 100pcs) of the quantity you wish to
weigh and count onto the platform.
• Place scale on a horizontal at surface.
• Press [ON/OFF] key to turn on the scale.
• Wait until the LCD displays “0.0”.
• Put the object(s) to be weighed on the weighing platform.
• Press the [UNITS] key to switch between the weighing units.
• Using the [LIGHT] key to turn the display backlight on or off.
• The scales will automatically turn off after about 30 seconds of inactivity.
• If the display shows “0_Ld” it is overloaded - remove the excess load immediately
to avoid damage.
• If the display shows “--” and the gures uctuate, the scales are not properly
supported on a at surface.

• Press and hold [PCS] key for 2 seconds; the LCD will display a random number, for
example “100” and “PCS” will ash in the corner.
• Press [UNITS] key to set the correct sample amount of items that you have put onto
the platform.
• Briey press [PCS] key to conrm the above information, the LCD will now display
“PCS” solid in the corner to show that the scale is in counting mode.
• Remove the sample quantity from the platform.
• Now can place any amount of your item(s) on the scale and the LCD will display a
count.
• You can switch between weighing mode and counting mode by pressing [UNITS] or
[PCS] key respectively.
CALIBRATION
• Reset the scale by pressing [ON/OFF] key.
• Wait until the LCD displays “0.0” and then press and HOLD [UNITS] key for 3
seconds.
• The LCD will display “CAL”, and then release the [UNITS] key.
• Press [UNITS] key again, the LCD will display “CAL” followed by the required
calibration weight.
• Add the required calibration weight, the display will show “PASS” and return to
normal weighing mode.
• Store the calibration weight safely and press [ON/OFF] to turn off the scale and the
calibration is complete.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the casing
• Wipe using a moist cloth or sponge. Do not use solvents as these may damage the
casing.
• Avoid scratching the LCD screen.
• Do not immerse in water or allow moisture to enter the casing.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
• When LCD display starts to fade, it is necessary to replace the batteries. However,
measurement may still be made for several hours although accuracy cannot be
guaranteed.
• Slide the battery cover away from the instrument and remove the batteries.
• Replace with new AAA batteries noting the correct polarity and ret the cover.
