Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
• Avoiding exposure to extreme heat or cold, your scale works better when operated
at normal room temperature.
• Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents
and a close proximity to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect
on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
• Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the hook.
• Avoid shaking, dropping or otherwise shocking the scale. This is a precision
instrument and must be handled with extreme care.
• Only support the scale by the top support loop and not by holding the casing itself.
• Always remove the batteries if the scales are not to be used for long periods.
• The scales only operate in the vertical position.

TARE WEIGHING:
• Turn on scale as described above.
• Place the “tare item” (eg: container) on the hook.
• Press [TARE] and wait until “0.0” is displayed.
• Add the “net-weight-item” into the container and the screen will display the weight.
WEIGHT LOCK
• Turn on the scale and wait until the LCD displays“0.0”.
• Press the [UNITS] key to switch between the weighing units (kg/lb/oz).
• Press ‘TARE” key for 1 second until the “L_ON” sign displays on the screen. Put
the object(s) to be weighed on the weighing hook.
• The weight measured will remain locked on the screen until either the power
is turned off or the “TARE” key is pressed again for 2 seconds then “L_OFF” is
displayed.
• Attach the scales by the upper loop to a solid support capable of supporting the
weights you are attempting to measure.
• Press [ON/OFF] key to turn on the scale.
• Wait until the LCD displays “0.0”.
• Put the object(s) to be weighed on the weighing hook.
• Press the [UNITS] key to switch between the weighing units (kg/lb/oz).
• The scales will automatically turn off after about 60 seconds of inactivity.
• If the display shows “0_Ld” it is overloaded - remove the excess load immediately
to avoid damage.
