1. This heater has been designed as a
onstru tion heater in a ordan e with
ANS Z83.7a-(2007)/CSA 2.14a-(2007).
Other standards govern the use of fuel,
gases and heating produ ts for spe ifi
uses. Your lo al authority an inform
you of these. The primary purpose of
these onstru tion heaters are to
provide temporary heating of buildings
under onstru tion, alteration, or
repair. When properly used, the heater
provides safe e onomi al heating.
Produ ts of ombustion are vented into
the heated area.
2. Keep solid ombustibles, su h as
building materials, paper or ardboard
a safe distan e away from the heater as
re ommended by the instru tions in
this manual (at least 6 feet away from
sides and 5 feet from top of heater).

3. This heater is hot when in use. To
avoid burns, do not let bare skin
tou h hot surfa es. Do not move
heater when in use OR for at least
35 minutes after using.
4. Keep ombustible materials, su h as
furniture, pillow, bedding, papers,
lothes and urtains at least 6 feet
away from sides and 5 feet from top
of this heater.
Carbon Monoxide
poisoning may lead
to death! Some people are more
affe ted by arbon monoxide than
others. Early signs of arbon monoxide
poisoning resemble the flu, with
heada hes, dizziness, and/or nausea. If
you have these signs, the heater may
not be operating properly or the area
may not be suffi iently ventilated. Get
fresh air at on e! Have heater servi ed.
5. Do not operate any heater with a
damaged regulator or after the
heater malfun tions, or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return heater to an authorized
servi e fa ility for examination, or
me hani al adjustment, or repair.
6. This heater should be utilized in
sheltered, well-ventilated areas, but
never in o upied dwellings, in living
areas or sleeping areas.
7. Do not use this heater in a residential
or household area. If stored indoors,
deta h and leave the LP ylinder
outdoors.
8. Never repla e the regulator with any
regulator other than the fa tory
suggested repla ement.
9. Do not insert or allow any foreign
obje ts to enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may ause a
fire, or damage to the heater.

sure to resear h and follow all lo al
ordinan es and odes. In the absen e of
lo al odes, with the Standard for the
Storage and Handling of Liquefied
Petroleum Gases, ANSI/NFPA 58 and the
Natural Gas and Propane Installation
Code, CSA B149.1. The heater is
designed and approved for use as a
onstru tion heater in a ordan e with
Standard ANS Z83.7a CSA 2.14a.
