1: IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You have made the right choice by purchasing advanced Dynavin multimedia products. We recommend to read
the installation instructions carefully before starting the installation.
Installation must be done by a qualified personnel. Installation of the interface is entirely at your own risk. We
accept no liability for damage to the vehicle or personal injury. If the manual is not well enforced and / or the
interface is incorrectly connected, the guarantee claim as well the operating permission becomes invalid.
The guarantee claim as well the operating permission becomes invalid due to:
a) The housing is opened
b) The warranty sticker is damaged or broken
c) The interface is damaged
d) Capital repairs are performed
e) Cable / connector is modified
f) Brute force to the device
The operation of this interface may be affected by software updates from the manufacturer / dealer. In such cases,
within one year of purchase, we provide a free software update for the multimedia interface. The costs for removal
and de/re-installation is not included and the interface must be supplied to us.
In the supplied (service) instructions you can specify how and where the products are installed. In addition, end
users are made aware of important addresses that he can consult in case of questions or problems. We advise you
and the end-user to give the service record to the dealer when maintenance must be done.
Warranty must be done via a RMA request. Returns without (copy) invoice, RMA form and RMA number will not
be accepted. Returns can only be sent after agreement RMA request.
General Guidelines for Maintenance:
a) For repair / maintenance end-user must always show the Service instructions to the dealer.
b) If the vehicle goes to a dealer for service, it may be necessarily that the interface module (s) must be
temporarily removed due to a software update or reading failures.
c) In this case, the loop-through adapters (optional) can be used to remove easily the interface modules.

2: INSTALLATION & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Installation must be done by a qualified personnel.
Do not install this interface by yourself. For safe and reliable installation, consult a dealer having special
knowledge.
oUse the device only at a +12 volt vehicle electrical system. Make sure to have a proper ground.
oThe device should not be set up in direct proximity of heat sources (e. g. power amplifier).
oPlease make sure that no objects or liquids can intrude the interior of the device! (Danger of short circuit!)
oPlease follow all caution advises contained in the mounting guidelines.
oPlease read through all safety instructions and handling directions intently before installation and start up
of the device.
oCheck alway the compatibility of the interface for your car before installation. Y
oAvoid installing the unit in following places: Where it would hinder your safe driving –Where it could
damage the car’s fitting.
oMake sure the power is fused with 7A or 10A fuses.
oPlease check all the car functions after installing the interface.
oMake sure the end customer can always reset the interface. You can reset the interface to make it
powerless.

6: REQUIREMENTS
1: Check if the interface is compatible with your system.
2: When you receive this package you have to check whether there’s any parts not included and you have to contact
us right away.
3: Get the right installation tools
4: Check if the car have original rear camera.
5: Original Aux input must be available.
6: Only compatible with NTSC sources.

7: INSTALLATION
Attention; do not install the interface when the ignition is ON.
7.1 Dissemble
1: Remove the R4.0 IntelliLink head-unit.

7.2 sub-board
1: Remove the screws.
2: Take out the steel cover.
3: Disconnect the original FFC cable from the board.

4: Connect the interface FPC cable (J2) with the board.
5: Connect the original FFC cable with the interface FPC cable
(J1).
6: Connect the FFC cable with the interface FPC cable (J5). Metal
pins must pointed down.
Put some tape over the locker so it won’t go loose

TOUCH
Disconnect the small touch cable from the board.
Connect the interface touch cable (J4) with the board.
Connect the original touch cable with the interface FFC cable (J3).

9: Put back the metal plate, take out the offered FFC cable through the hole
(make sure you do not damage the FFC cable)
10: Connect the offered FFC cable to the interface
board.
Put some tape over the locker so it won’t go loose.
11: Screw the interface to the radio unit.

7.3 Power cable
1: Remove the power connector from the OEM radio and connect the connector with the interface cable kit.
2: Plug the interface power cable kit into the OEM radio.
3: Connect the white interface connector with the interface module input “POWER”.

Rear PWR –Red (pin 2)
+12V output when rear input is activated (max 200mA output)
You can adjust this wire option in the OSD menu.
RearCam-Power : Setup for “Rear-PWR” wire
ON: +12V output (max 200mA)
AUTO: +12V out in “Rear” mode (200mA)
OFF: Power OFF
Rear DET –Brown (pin 5)
+12V input trigger wire for rear camera input.
When you want to use this wire you must put the option “RearCAM-Det” in “Extwire”.
When you do not want to use this wire please put option “RearCAM-Det” in OFF position.
Navi Connect
Battery–Yellow (1)

7.4 Video input FRONT
You can use this input as Front camera or AV input.
FRONT CAMERA
Take the following steps when using this input as FRONT CAMERA.
1: Put dipswitch 2 in ON position
2: Put option “FrontCAM-Type” in the OSD menu into
“ExtDevice”
3: Put option “FrontCam-Det” in the OSD menu in “CAN”
position.
4: Via the OSD menu you can adjust the time delay of the FRONT CAMERA input.

camera before switching to RGB, DVD, OEM from Rear
5: Connect the RCA plug from the camera with input “FRONT” (10)

A/V1 INPUT
Take the following steps when using this input as AV1:
1: Put dipswitch 2 in OFF position
2: Put option “FrontCAM-Type” in the OSD menu into “OEM”
3: Connect the RCA plug from the AV source with input
“FRONT” (10)

7.5 Video input REAR
You can use this input as Rear camera or AV2 input (11).
REAR CAMERA
Take the following steps when using this input as REAR CAMERA.
1: Put dipswitch 3 in ON position
2: Put option “RearCAM-Type” in the OSD menu into
“ExtDevice”
3: Put option “RearCam-Det” in the OSD menu in “CAN”
position.
AV Mode : change the rear camera input into AV input
ON: Video input (RearCam-Type in OSD menu must be in “OEM” position)
OFF: Rear camera input
5: Connect the RCA plug from the camera with input “REAR” (11)
A/V2 INPUT
Take the following steps when using this input as AV1:
1: Put option “AV MODE” in “ON” position.
2: Connect the RCA plug from the AV source with input
“REAR” (11)

7.6 RGB INPUT
RGB input for connecting RGB source.
1: Connect the interface RGB-cable with the interface input (NAVI).
2: Put dipswitch 1 in OFF position
3: Connect your RGB source with the interface RGB cable kit:

*Zorg ervoor bij gebruik van de RGB input dat dipswitch 1 in OFF positie staat.
*Input DIGITAL = Digital RGB = No function
