TheDyniscoSPXSeriesplasticmeltpressuretransmittersprovideameansofpressuremeasurements
ofmoltenpolymersatdiaphragmtemperaturesupto750°F(400°C). Thetransmitterscombine
Dynisco’sinnovativecapillarystraingagesensorwithquality,reliableelectronicstoproducea4-20mA
signalproportionaltothemeasuredpressure.
Thetransmittersaredesignedforapplicationswhereamplifiedpressuresignalsarenecessary.This
includestransmissioninelectricallynoisyenvironmentsorlongdistancesignaltransmission.
Built-inzeroandspanadjustmentpush-buttonsareprovidedbehindsealscrews.Thestraingage
transducerelementhasnomovingpartsandrequiresminimumdeflectionofthesensingdiaphragm
(.001to.002inches)toobtainfull-scaleoutput.Thelackofmechanicalconnectionsminimizes
inaccuracies.
