TheZ-5000canbeinstalledin anyconvenient
location,provided
thereis
clearancewhentiltedforthebestviewingangle.Holesinthebracket
baseallow wood screworthrough boltmounting. Thebracketcanbe
attachedtoaluminum
panels
withsheetmetalscrews.However, we
suggestplacing
a
piece
ofplywoodonthebackofthin
fiberglasspanels
tosecurethe
mountinghardware.
Make certainthereisenough
room
behind theunittoattachthepower
andtransducer cables.

gimbalbracketallowsthe
powerand
transducercablestoberoutedstraightdownthroughthe
mounting
surface.Thesmallestholethatwillpassthe transducerconnector
throughis¾".Thiswillallowthetransducerconnectorand cabletobe

gimbalbracket,
then the
powercable
wire canbepushedDOWN
