I CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK I
Charge the batlery pack only with the charger provided.
Allow at leaslS-tl hours of charge time before Initial use of the trimmer.
Make sure the power supply is normal household voltage, 120votts,
60Hz,
AC only.
The battery charger should be operated in temperatures between
23 and 104 degrees F.
The battery should be charged in a coot, dry place.
2 to 3 initial charging/discharging cycles may be required to achieve
maximum run time/capacity.
DO NOT attempt to open the charger or the unit. There are no
customer serviceable parts inside. Return
to any authorized

DO NOT Incinerate battery packs even ifthey are
damaged orcompletely worn out. They can explode in
causing injury.

leakage gets on your skin.

TO CHARGE
Plug the charger into a standard household electrical outlet.
TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK
Place the battery pac~ in your Cordless Blower. (see picture).
Ensure
the latches on each side ofthe battery pack snap in place

TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK

both latches on side of battery pack to release battery from
Cordless Blower (see picture).
RECHARGING
Recharge the battery
as soon as the blowing power of your Cordless Blower is no
longer effective.
Avoid running
the battery into full discharge (draining the bettery completely),
Follow the procedure outlined.
Recharging the battery pack according to these instructions should ensure
maximum battery life.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Remove the battery pack from the Cordless Blower, cover the terminals with heavy duty adhasive tape.
Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble battery pack orremove any components. This product contains
NiCkel-Cadmium battenes which must be recyded or disposed of property. local, state orfederal laws may
prohibit disposal ofthese batteries in the municipal solid waste orrural trash pick up systems.
The RBRC seal on the Nickel-Cadmium battery pack indicates that the cost to recycle the battery pack atthe end of its useful
life has already been paid by The Great States Corporation/American Lawn Mower Company. It is illegal to place spant Ni-Cad
batteries in the local municipal solid waste or in the trash. RBRC in cooparation with The Great Stat"s Corporation/American
Lawn Mower Company has provided an environmentally friendly and easy way to reeyde spent Ni-Cad batteries. Just contact
an authorized Earthwise'" service center, your local recycling center or call1.000.8.BA TTERY for information on where 10 drop
off the spant battery.

Assembling the unit as a blower
Connect two blowe, tubes together.
Fit the larger diameter end of blower tubes onto the air outlet ofthe
motor housing and rotate until engaged.
UNPACKING
This product requires some assembly.
remOVe the product and accessories from the
box sure that all items listed in packing list are induded.
Inspect Ihe product carefully to make sure
no breakage or damage
occurred during shipping.
Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully
inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.

Avoid collisions with hard objects which could damage your machine.
Keep bystanders and animals at least 5 m away from the working area.
Make
sure that the switch is in poSition "0' (off), the batter} pack is
disconnected and all the rotating parts are at astandstill before dean:ng,

one place to another.
Do not put part of your body such as hands and fingers in the
vacuum opening orexhaust opening.
Do not switch the machine on in enclosed or poorly ventilated
spaces
or in the offlammable andlorexplosivs

TO TURN THE TOOL ON
