KEEP CHILDREN AWAY - All visitors, children and pets should
stay at a safe distance from the work area.
DRESS PROPERLY – Don’t wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair. They can be
caught in moving parts. Use of rubber gloves and substantial
footwear is recommended when working outdoors.
USE SAFETY GLASSES –Wear safety glasses with side shields
or goggles that are marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 standard
when operating this product. Use face or dust mask if
environment is dusty.
USE RIGHT APPLIANCE – Do not use appliance for any job
except that for which it is intended.
REMOVE BATTERY FROM BLOWER when not in use or when
servicing or cleaning. Do not leave unattended.
CHECK DAMAGED PARTS – Before further use of the Blower,
any part that is damaged should be carefully checked to
determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended
function. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any other condition that
may affect its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged
should be properly repaired or replaced.
LIGHTING - Only operate Cordless Blower in daylight or good
artificial light.
DON’T OVERREACH – Keep proper footing and balance at all
times.
WARNING: Do Not use the Cordless Blower with any type of
accessory or attachment. Such usage might be hazardous.
AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTS – Don’t use Cordless
Blower in rain, damp or wet locations. Do not operate Cordless
Blower in gaseous or explosive atmospheres. Motors in these
tools normally spark, and the sparks might ignite fumes.
AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING – Don’t carry the Cordless
Blower with finger on switch.
DO NOT ATTEMPT to move rocks or sharp materials while
operating Blower unit. Do not use the Cordless Blower for any
purpose other than that for which it was designed.
DO NOT PUT ANY OBJECT INTO OPENINGS. Do not use with
any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything
that may reduce air flow.
WARNING: Use only accessories that are recommended by the
manufacturer for your model described in this manual.
Accessories that may be suitable for one blower may create a risk
of injury when used on another blower. Use only as described in
this manual.
WARNING: Turn off all controls before removing battery.

CAUTION: Keep children and small pets a safe distance away while
operating the Cordless Blower. Flying Debris can cause personal
injury.
DON’T FORCE CORDLESS BLOWER – It will do the job better
and with less likelihood of a risk of injury at the rate for which it was
designed.
STAY ALERT – Watch what you are doing. Use common sense.
Do not operate Cordless Blower when you are tired or under the
influence of medications, drugs or alcohol.
STORE IDLE CORDLESS BLOWER INDOORS – When not in use,
your Cordless Blower should be stored indoors in a dry and high or
locked-up place, out of reach of children.
MAINTAIN CORDLESS BLOWER WITH CARE – Keep blower
tube and handles clean for best performance and to reduce the risk
of injury. Keep handles dry and free from oil and grease.
CAUTION: Disconnect battery pack from blower before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the blower. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the blower
accidentally.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A
charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a
risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
Under extreme conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery;
avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, flush them with clean water for a minimum of
10 minutes and seek immediate medical attention. Liquid ejected
from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
CAUTION: When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or
other small metal objects that can make a connection from one
terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause sparks, burns, or a fire.

HANDLE ASSEMBLY ( Fig. 1 & Fig.2 )
Place the U-shaped grip (A) over the device housing (B).
Push the fixing screw through the U-shaped grip and the housing.
Apply the fixing screw.
Select your preferred working angle.
Lock the U-shaped grip by pushing the quick-re-lease lever (C) in.

NOTE: Ensure the blower is switched off and the batteries are
removed before attaching or removing the sweeper tube. The tube
must be assembled to the housing before use.

Press the top blow/vacuum tube onto the housing of the device until
it audibly latches in.
Fix the top vacuum/blow tube with the screw.
Press the bottom blow/vacuum tube onto the top blow/vacuum tube
of the device until it audibly latches in.
Fix the bottom vacuum/blow pipe with the screw.

ATTACHING THE TRANSPORT WHEEL ( Fig. 5)
Place the transport wheel over the bottom vacuum/blow tube and
push it up to the marked stop.
Fix the transport wheel with the screw.

Slide the battery packs in
your blower (see picture).
Ensure the two batteries
are securely connected to
blower. To remove
batteries, depress release
buttons and slide battery
packs out of tool.

ATTACHING THE DEFLECTOR TUBE ( Fig. 6)
Press the deflector tube onto the housing with the opening facing
forwards.

ATTACHING THE VACUUM BAG ( Fig. 7)
Hook the front part of the vacuum bag adapter onto the
connecting piece of the housing.
Press the rear part of the vacuum bag adapter onto the
connecting piece of the housing until it audibly latches in.
Attach the vacuum bag to the fastening hook.

FIXING THE CARRYING BELT ( Fig. 8 )
Attach the carrying belt to the fastening point provided.
NOTE: For safety reasons only carry the device supported over your
shoulder and never around your neck.

ADJUSTING THE CARRYING BELT ( Fig. 9 )
Shut the belt closure
Adjust the carrying belt to the desired length. The attachment
hook should be at hip height.

SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE (Fig. 10)
Set the selection lever to the desired operating mode.
NOTE: The selection lever can also be adjusted during operation.
Turn the selection lever, always ensuring that it engages with the
corresponding symbol. Never
move the selection lever to an
intermediate position.
- Vacuum function: Set the
selection lever to position (1).
-Blow function: Set the
selection lever to position (2).

Select the required
operating mode. Turn the
rotary switch backwards
(1) to turn he unit on. The
further back, the higher
the motor speed. The
blower is ready for use.

To switch the blower off, turn the rotary switch fully to the front,
until it locks in place.
WARNING: Do Not use the blower with any type of accessory or
attachment. Such usage might be hazardous.
USING THE BLOW FUNCTION
Use in areas which are difficult to clean: e.g. flowerbeds,
shrubbery, trees, around house corners, grating and fences.
Perform movements from one side to another. Keep the collected
pile of waste in front of you.
OPERATING
MAINTENANCE
If you drop the blower, carefully inspect it for damage. If the tube is
broken, housing cracked, or handles broken or if you see any
other condition that may affect the blower’s operation, call our
customer service help line at 1-800-633-1501 for assistance.
To clean the tool, make sure the batteries are detached from the
unit, then use only mild soap and a damp cloth. Never let any
liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a
liquid.
IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment should be performed by an
authorized service center or other qualified service organization,
always using identical replacement parts.
CAUTION: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. They contain chemicals that can damage,
weaken or destroy plastic.
Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain agents which
greatly accelerate the corrosion of metals Do not store the tool
on or adjacent to fertilizers or chemicals.
Cleaning the vacuum bag
After using the device, always empty and shake out the dust
bag.
NOTE:Wear protective goggles and a dust mask for this task.
Once per month (or more often if required) wash the vacuum
bag:
Empty the vacuum bag thoroughly.
Turn the vacuum bag inside out.
Shake out vacuum bag.
Clean vacuum bag with a soap solution.
Leave the vacuum bag to dry.

Adjust the speed with the rotary speed controller if more power is
required.
USING THE VACUUM FUNCTION
For areas which are difficult to clean, such as flowerbeds,
shrubbery, house corners, etc. Perform lateral movements or use
the device on the transport wheel for collecting light material.
Leaves and twigs are vacuumed up and crushed. The vacuum bag
can then hold more material. Empty the vacuum bag when full.
WARNING: After batteries have been fully depleted, make sure the
on/ff rotary switch is in the “OFF” position.
EMPTYING THE VACUUM BAG
Emptying without moving the vacuum bag
Open the zip on the vacuum bag.
Empty the vacuum bag in accordance with local regulations.
Shut the zip.
Emptying with moving the vacuum bag (Fig. 12)
Press the vacuum bag release mechanism and pull off the
vacuum bag.
Release the fixing hooks of the vacuum bag.
Open the zip on the
vacuum bag.
Empty the vacuum bag
in accordance with local
regulations.
After emptying the
vacuum bag, shake it
thoroughly to remove
dust and dirt from the
fabric.
Shut the zip and reattach
the vacuum bag to the device.

Cleaning the blow/vacuum turbine (Fig. 13)
Loosen the fixing screws.
Open the cover.
Remove deposits, soiling or
clogging with a brush, a dry
cloth or compressed air.
Shut the cover back on
re-apply the fixing screws.
Transport and storage
Transport
Secure the device sufficiently to prevent its unintentional slipping if you
are transporting it in or on a motor vehicle.
Storage
Thoroughly clean your device at the end of each season.
Always store the device in a dry and safe location that is inaccessible to
children.
Store the battery packs and tool separately.
Store the battery packs in a cool and dry location. Recommended
storage temperature approx. 18°C.
Keep the device and especially its plastic components away from brake
fluids, petrol, mineral oil containing products, penetrating oils etc. They
contain chemical substances that can damage, attack or destroy the
plastic components of the leaf vacuum/blower.
Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain substances that may
have a highly corrosive effect on the metal parts of the device.
Therefore do not store your device near to these substances.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Charge the battery pack only with the charger provided.
Allow at least 60 minutes of charge time for each 2.0Ah battery before
initial use of the blower.
Make sure the power supply is normal household voltage, 120volts,
60Hz, AC only.
The battery charger should be operated in temperatures between 39
and 104 degrees F (4 °C and 40 °C).
The battery should be charged in a cool, dry place.
2 to 3 initial charging/discharging cycles may be required to achieve
maximum run time/capacity.
DO NOT attempt to open the charger or the unit. There are no
customer serviceable parts inside. Call customer service helpline at
1-800-633-1501 for assistance.
DO NOT incinerate battery packs even if they are severely damaged
or completely worn out. They can explode in a fire causing injury.
DO NOT charge appliance in rain, or in wet locations.
Use the battery charger indoors only.
Disconnect charger from the power supply when not in use to prevent
damage to the charger during a power surge.
When fully charged, the battery can be safely stored in temperatures
down to -4 degrees F for a period of up to four weeks, before
requiring charging. Fully charge battery pack every 90 days.
If over a period of time the battery pack quickly runs down after a full
60 minutes charging period, a replacement battery pack is needed.
To prevent permanent damage to the battery, never store in a
discharged condition.
WINTER STORAGE - Fully recharge before storage and then again
every 90 days.
Since the battery will not develop a memory, it does not have to be
fully discharged before recharging.
A small leakage of liquid from the battery cells may occur under
extreme usage, charging or temperature conditions. This does not
indicate a failure. However, if the outer seal is broken and this
leakage gets on your skin.
a. Wash quickly with soap and water.
b. Neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice of vinegar.
c. If the battery liquid gets in your eyes, flush them with clean
water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek immediate
medical attention.

BATTERY DISPOSAL
Remove the battery pack from the Cordless Blower, cover the terminals with heavy duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy
or disassemble battery pack or remove any components. This product contains lithium-ion batteries which must be recycled or
disposed of properly. Local, state or federal laws may prohibit disposal of these batteries in the municipal solid waste or rural trash
pick up systems.
The RBRC seal on the Li-Ion battery pack indicates that the cost to recycle the battery pack at the end of its useful life has already
been paid by The Great States Corporation/American Lawn Mower Company. It is illegal to place spent Li-Ion batteries in the local
municipal solid waste or in the trash. RBRC in cooperation with The Great States Corporation/American Lawn Mower Company has
provided an environmentally friendly and easy way to recycle spent Li-Ion batteries. Just contact your local recycling center or call
1.800.8.BATTERY for information on where to drop off the spent battery.

WARRANTY POLICY
Two (2) year limited warranty on Earthwise 20x2 volt outdoor power equipment and one (1) year limited warranty
on Earthwise 20 volt battery packs and chargers.
Earthwise warrants to the original owner that each new product and service part is free from defects in materials and
workmanship and agrees to repair or replace any defective product or part for the warranty period as stated above from
the original date of purchase except for the conditions and circumstances listed below:
Proof of purchase, original dated sales receipt, must accompany all warranty claims.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at
retail and may not be transferred.
Warranty applies if the product is used for personal,
household or family use. Warranty is void if product is

Warranty does not include repairs necessary due to
operator’s abuse or negligence (including overloading
the product beyond capacity or immersion in water), or
the failure to assemble, operate, maintain or store the
product according to the instructions in the owner’s
manual.
This warranty is not transferable
and only applies to product sold
directly from an authorized
retailer. This warranty does not apply to any
product, new or used, purchased through unauthorized
third-party channels.
ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL
LOSS, DAMAGE, OR EXPENSE THAT MAY RESULT
FROM ANY DEFECT, FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION
OF THE PRODUCT IS NOT COVERED BY THE
WARRANTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitation may not apply to you.
Products sold damaged or incomplete, sold “as is”, or sold
as reconditioned are not covered under the warranty.
Damage or liability caused by shipping, improper handling,
improper assembly, incorrect voltage, improper wiring,
improper maintenance, improper modification or the use of
accessories and/or attachments not specifically
recommended is not covered by this warranty.
Expendable items that become worn during normal use are
not covered by the warranty.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by cold, heat,
rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments and
materials, or other contaminants.
Warranty does not include installation, assembly or normal
adjustments explained in the owner’s manual.
The expense of delivering the product to the vendor and the
expense of returning the product or replacement parts to
the owner is not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover normal deterioration of the
exterior finish, including but not limited to scratches, dents,
paint chips or any corrosion or discoloration caused by
heat, abrasive and chemical cleaners.

PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE LESIONES:

USE GAFAS DE SEGURIDAD. Al trabajar con este producto, use
gafas de seguridad con protectores laterales que cumplan la norma
ANSI Z87.1. Protéjase la cara con una mascarilla antipolvo si la
operación genera polvo.
USE LA HERRAMIENTA EN FORMA CORRECTA. No utilice esta
herramienta en trabajos para los que no esté indicada.
EXTRAIGA LA BATERÍA DE LA HERRAMIENTA cuando no esté
en uso o durante el servicio de mantenimiento o la limpieza.
Manténgala bajo vigilancia constante.
COMPRUEBE LAS PIEZAS DAÑADAS: antes de seguir usando
el soplador, cualquier pieza que esté dañada debe revisarse
cuidadosamente para determinar si funcionará correctamente y
realizará la función prevista. Compruebe la alineación de las piezas
móviles, el atascamiento de las piezas móviles, la rotura de las
piezas, el montaje y cualquier otra condición que pueda afectar su
funcionamiento. Una protección u otra pieza que esté dañada debe
repararse o reemplazarse adecuadamente.
ILUMINACIÓN. Trabaje sólo con luz natural o buena luz artificial.
NO ADOPTE UNA POSTURA INCÓMODA. Mantenga una base de
apoyo firme y buen equilibrio en todo momento.
ADVERTENCIA: No coloque ningún tipo de accesorio o dispositivo
de sujeción a la sopladora. Dicha práctica podría resultar peligrosa.
EVITE AMBIENTES PELIGROSOS. No utilice esta herramienta
en la lluvia ni en lugares húmedos o mojados. Tampoco trabaje
en entornos donde existan gases o sustancias explosivas. Por lo
general, los motores de estas herramientas producen chispas que
podrían inflamar los gases.
EVITE EL ENCENDIDO ACCIDENTAL. No transporte la
cortasetos con el dedo en el interruptor. Asegúrese de que el
interruptor esté en la posición de apagado antes de instalar la
batería.
NO INTENTE mover piedras ni materiales punzantes mientras
trabaja con la sopladora. No utilice la sopladora para ningún otro fin
que no sea el indicado.
No coloque ningún objeto en las aberturas. No la utilice con
ninguna abertura bloqueada; manténgalas libres de polvo, pelusa,

sentido común. No opere la sopladora si está cansado o bajo la
influencia de medicamentos, drogas o alcohol.
GUARDE LA SOPLADORA BAJO TECHO. Cuando no esté en
uso, la deberá guardar en un lugar cerrado, seco y elevado o fuera
del alcance de los niños.
TENGA CUIDADO AL REALIZAR EL MANTENIMIENTO A LA
HERRRAMIENTA. El tubo y mangos deben estar linpios para
lograr un óptimo funcionamiento y reducir el riesgo de lesiones.
Mantenga los mangos secos y libres de grasa y aceite.
PRECAUCIÓN: Desconecte el paquete de baterías del
soplador antes de realizar ajustes, cambiar accesorios o
almacenar el soplador. Estas medidas preventivas de seguridad
reducen el riesgo de que el soplador arranque accidentalmente.
Recargue solo con el cargador especificado por el fabricante. Un
cargador que sea adecuado para un tipo de paquete de baterías
puede crear un riesgo de incendio cuando se usa con otro paquete
de baterías.
En condiciones extremas, la batería puede expulsar líquido; evitar
el contacto. Si ocurre contacto accidentalmente, enjuague con
agua. Si el líquido entra en contacto con los ojos, enjuáguelos con
agua limpia durante un mínimo de 10 minutos y busque atención
médica de inmediato. El líquido expulsado de la batería puede
causar irritación o quemaduras.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cuando no esté usando la batería, manténgala
alejada de objetos metálico tales como: clips, monedas, llaves,
clavos, tornillos y otros objetos metálicos pequeños que puedan
establecer una conexión entre ambos terminales. Al establecer una
conexión directa entre los dos terminales se puede causar chispas,
quemaduras o incendios.

contiene sustancias químicas al estado de california como

Coloca el mango en forma de U (A) sobre la carcasa del
dispositivo (B).
Empuje el tornillo de fijación a través de la empuñadura en
forma de U y la carcasa.
Aplicar el tornillo de fijación.
Seleccione su ángulo de trabajo preferido.
Bloquee la empuñadura en forma de U empujando la

Este producto requiere algunas operaciones de montaje.

Coloque la rueda de transporte sobre el tubo de aspiración/
soplado inferior y empújela hasta el tope marcado.
Fije la rueda de transporte con el tornillo.

Presione el tubo deflector sobre la carcasa con la abertura hacia
adelante.

Fije el cinturón de transporte en el punto de sujeción
proporcionado.
NOTA: Por razones de seguridad, lleve el dispositivo solo
apoyado sobre su hombro y nunca alrededor de su cuello.

Cierra el cierre del cinturón
Ajuste el cinturón de transporte a la longitud deseada. El gancho
de sujeción debe estar a la altura de la cadera.

INSTALACIÓN Y EXTRACCIÓN DE PAQUETES DE BATERÍAS DE
LA UNIDAD
Deslice los paquetes de baterías en su soplador (vea la imagen).
Asegúrese de que las dos baterías estén bien conectadas al soplador.
Para quitar las baterías, presione los botones de liberación y deslice
los paquetes de baterías para sacarlos de la herramienta.
MONTAJE DEL TUBO DEFLECTOR ( Fig. 7)
Enganche la parte delantera del adaptador de la bolsa de la
aspiradora en la pieza de conexión de la carcasa.
Presione la parte trasera del adaptador de la bolsa de la
aspiradora sobre la pieza de conexión de la carcasa hasta que
encaje de forma audible.
Fije la bolsa de la aspiradora al gancho de sujeción.

OPERANDO
Realiza movimientos de un lado a otro. Mantenga la pila de desechos
recolectada frente a usted. Ajuste la velocidad con el controlador de
velocidad giratorio si se requiere más potencia.
USO DE LA FUNCIÓN DE VACÍO
Para zonas de difícil limpieza, como macizos de flores, arbustos,
rincones de casas, etc. Realice movimientos laterales o utilice el
dispositivo en la rueda de transporte para recoger material ligero. Las
hojas y ramitas se aspiran y trituran. La bolsa de la aspiradora puede
contener más material. Vacíe la bolsa de la aspiradora cuando esté
llena.

VACIADO DE LA BOLSA DE VACÍO
Vaciado sin mover la bolsa de la aspiradora
Abra la cremallera de la bolsa de la aspiradora.
Vacíe la bolsa de la aspiradora de acuerdo con las normas locales.
Cierra la cremallera.
Vaciado con movimiento de la bolsa de vacío (Fig. 12)
Presione el mecanismo de liberación de la bolsa de la aspiradora y
saque la bolsa de la aspiradora.
Suelte los ganchos de fijación de la bolsa de la aspiradora.
Abra la cremallera de la bolsa
de la aspiradora.
Vacíe la bolsa de la aspiradora
de acuerdo con las normas
locales.
Después de vaciar la bolsa de
la aspiradora, agítela bien para
eliminar el polvo y la suciedad
de la tela.
Cierra la cremallera y vuelve a
colocar la bolsa de la aspiradora en el dispositivo.
SELECCIÓN DEL MODO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO (Fig. 10)
Coloque la palanca de selección en el modo de funcionamiento
deseado.
NOTA: La palanca de selección también se puede ajustar
durante el funcionamiento. Gire la palanca de selección
asegurándose siempre de que encaje con el símbolo
correspondiente. Nunca mueva la
palanca de selección a una
posición intermedia.

PARA ENCENDER LA HERRAMIENTA (Fig. 11)
Seleccione el modo de
funcionamiento requerido. Gire el
interruptor giratorio hacia atrás (1)
para encender la unidad. Cuanto
más atrás, mayor es la velocidad
del motor. El soplador está listo
para usar.
PARA APAGAR LA
HERRAMIENTA
Para apagar el soplador, gire el interruptor giratorio
completamente hacia atrás (2), hasta que encaje en su lugar.
ADVERTENCIA: No coloque ningún tipo de accesorio o
dispositivo de sujeción a la sopladora. Dicha práctica podría
resultar peligrosa.
USO DE LA FUNCIÓN DE SOPLADO
Úselo en áreas que son difíciles de limpiar: p. macizos de flores,
arbustos, árboles, alrededor de las esquinas de la casa, rejillas y
cercas.

MANTENIMIENTO
Si se cae la sopladora, inspecciónela cuidadosamente para
comprobar si sufrió algún daño. Si la tubo está dañado, la caja
tiene grietas, o los mangos están rotos, o si detecta alguna otra
condición que pudiera afectar el funcionamiento de la sopladora,
comuníquese con nuestra línea de ayuda de atención al
1-800-633-1501 para recibir asistencia.
Extraiga el paquete de baterías de la sopladora y luego utilice
únicamente un jabón suave y un paño húmedo para limpiar la
herramienta. No permita que entre líquido en el interior de la
herramienta ni sumerja ninguna pieza en líquido.
IMPORTANTE: A fin de garantizar la SEGURIDAD y la
CONFIABILIDAD, las reparaciones, el mantenimiento y los ajustes
deben llevarse a cabo siempre utilizando repuestos idénticos.
PRECAUCIÓN: Evite en todo momento que líquidos de frenos,
gasolina, productos a base de petróleo, aceites penetrantes, etc.,
entren en contacto con piezas plásticas. Contienen químicos que
pueden dañar, debilitar o destrozar el plástico.
Los fertilizantes y otros productos químicos para el jardín
contienen agentes que aceleran la corrosión de los metales en
forma considerable. No guarde la herramienta junto a fertilizantes
ni productos químicos.
Limpieza de la bolsa de la aspiradora
Después de usar el dispositivo, siempre vacíe y sacuda la bolsa
para el polvo.
NOTA: Use gafas protectoras y una máscara contra el polvo
para esta tarea. Una vez al mes (o más a menudo si es necesario)
lave la bolsa de la aspiradora:
Vacíe bien la bolsa de la aspiradora.
Voltee la bolsa de la aspiradora al revés.
Sacude la bolsa de la aspiradora.
Limpie la bolsa de la aspiradora con una solución jabonosa.
Deje que la bolsa de la aspiradora se seque.
Vacíe bien la bolsa de la aspiradora.

Transporte y almacenamiento

Asegure el dispositivo lo suficiente para evitar que se deslice
accidentalmente si lo transporta dentro o sobre un vehículo motorizado.
Almacenamiento
Limpia a fondo tu dispositivo al final de cada temporada.
Guarde siempre el dispositivo en un lugar seco y seguro que sea
inaccesible para los niños.
Guarde los paquetes de baterías y la herramienta por separado.
Guarde los paquetes de baterías en un lugar fresco y seco.
Temperatura de almacenamiento recomendada aprox. 18°C.
Mantenga el aparato y especialmente sus componentes de plástico
alejados de líquidos de frenos, gasolina, productos que contengan
aceite mineral, aceites penetrantes, etc. Contienen sustancias
químicas que pueden dañar, atacar o destruir los componentes de
plástico del aspirador/soplador de hojas.
Los fertilizantes y otros productos químicos para el jardín contienen
sustancias que pueden tener un efecto altamente corrosivo en las
partes metálicas del dispositivo. Por lo tanto, no almacene su
dispositivo cerca de estas sustancias.

CARGA DEL PAQUETE DE BATERÍA
Cargue el paquete de baterías únicamente con el cargador provisto.
Permita por lo menos 60 minutos de tiempo de carga para una
batería de 2,0 Ah antes del uso inicial del cortadora.
Asegúrese de que el voltaje del suministro eléctrico sea el doméstico
normal: 120 voltios, 60 Hz, CA únicamente.
El cargador de baterías debe funcionar en temperaturas que oscilen
entre los 4 y 40 ºC (39 y 104 ºF).
La batería debe cargarse en un lugar fresco y seco.
Es posible que se necesiten de dos a tres ciclos de carga/
descarga iniciales para obtener la máxima capacidad o tiempo
de funcionamiento.
No intente abrir el cargador ni la unidad, ya que en su interior no
existen piezas que el usuario pueda reparar. Comuníquese con
nuestra línea de ayuda de atención al 1-800-633-1501 para recibir
asistencia.
NO incinere los paquetes de baterías, aunque estén muy dañados o
totalmente agotados, porque pueden estallar y provocar lesiones.
Utilice el cargador de baterías sólo bajo techo.
Desconecte el cargador del suministro eléctrico cuando no esté en
uso para evitar daños en caso de que se produzca un pico de
tensión.
Cuando la batería está cargada por completo, se puede almacenar
de forma segura en temperaturas de hasta –20 ºC (-4 ºF) durante un
período de quatros semanas antes de que requiera una nueva carga.
Cargue el paquete de baterías completamente cada 90 días.
Si transcurrido un tiempo determinado, el paquete de baterías se
agota rápidamente después de un período de carga de 60 minutos,
es necesario un cambio de batería.
Para prevenir un daño permanente a la batería, nunca la almacene
descargada.
ALMACENAMIENTO EN INVIERNO. Recargue la batería
completamente y repita la operación cada 90 días.
Debido a que la batería no tiene ningún efecto memoria, no es
necesario que esté totalmente descargada para volver a cargarla.
Es posible que ocurra una pequeña pérdida de líquido de las pilas
en condiciones de uso, carga o temperaturas extremas. Esto no
indica una falla. No obstante, si el sello externo está roto y el líquido
entra en contacto con la piel:
a. Lávese con agua y jabón de inmediato.
b. Neutralice el efecto con un ácido débil como jugo de limón
o vinagre.
c. Si el líquido de la batería penetra en los ojos, enjuáguese con
agua limpia durante un mínimo de 10 minutos y obtenga
asistencia médica inmediata.

ELIMINACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Extraiga el paquete de baterías de la herramienta. Cubra los terminales con una cinta adhesiva resistente. No trate de destruir ni desarmar el
paquete de baterías ni de extraer ninguno de sus componentes. Este producto contiene baterías de litio-ion, que se deben reciclar o desechar
adecuadamente. Es posible que las leyes locales, estatales o federales prohíban eliminar estas baterías con los desechos comunes.
El sello RBRC que aparece en el paquete de baterías de litio-ion indica que los costos para reciclarlo al término de su vida útil ya han
sido pagados por The Great States Corporation/American Lawn Mower Company. Es ilegal arrojar las baterías de litio-ion gastadas en

Garantía limitada de dos (2) años en equipos eléctricos para exteriores Earthwise de 20 x 2 voltios y garantía
limitada de un (1) año en paquetes de baterías y cargadores Earthwise de 20 voltios.
Earthwise garantiza al propietario original que cada producto nuevo y pieza de repuesto está libre de defectos en
el material y la mano de obra, y acepta reparar o reemplazar cualquier producto o pieza defectuosa durante el periodo de
garantía según lo establecido anteriormente a partir de la fecha de compra original excepto en las condiciones y
circunstancias que se indican a continuación:
La garantía se aplica solo al comprador original al menudeo y no
puede transferirse.
La garantía se aplica si el producto está destinado para uso
personal, doméstico o familiar. La garantía queda anulada si el
producto se usa con fines comerciales, industriales o de alquiler.
La garantía no incluye reparaciones necesarias debido a abuso o
negligencia por parte del operador (incluida la sobrecarga del
producto que supere la capacidad o inmersión en el agua), o un
error al montar, operar, mantener o almacenar el producto de
acuerdo con las instrucciones del manual del operador.
Esta garantía no es transferible y solo se
aplica a productos vendidos directamente por
un distribuidor minorista autorizado. Esta
garantía no se aplica a cualquier producto, nuevo o usado,
adquirido a través de canales de terceros no autorizados.
CUALQUIER PÉRDIDA ACCIDENTAL, INDIRECTA O
RESULTANTE, DAÑO O GASTO QUE PUEDA DERIVAR DE
CUALQUIER DEFECTO, FALLA O MALFUNCIONAMIENTO DEL
PRODUCTO NO ESTÁ CUBIERTO POR LA GARANTÍA. En
algunos estados no se permite la exclusión o limitación sobre la
duración de las garantías implícitas, en cuyo caso la limitación
anterior no podría aplicarse.
Los productos que se venden dañados o incompletos, que se
venden "tal como están" o reacondicionados no están cubiertos
por esta garantía.
Los daños o inconvenientes causados por envío, manipulación
inadecuada, montaje incorrecto, voltaje o cableado incorrecto,
mantenimiento deficiente, modificaciones inadecuadas o el uso
de accesorios o dispositivos de sujeción no recomendados
específicamente no están cubiertos por esta garantía.
Elementos consumibles que se desgastan con el uso normal
cubierto por la garantía.
La garantía no cubre los daños causados por el frío, el calor, la
lluvia, la humedad excesiva, ambientes y materiales corrosivos u
otros contaminantes.
La garantía no incluye instalación, montaje o ajustes normales
tal como se explican en el manual del operador.
Los gastos de entrega del producto al proveedor y los gastos de
devolución del producto o las piezas de repuesto al propietario
no están cubiertos por esta garantía.
La garantía no cubre el deterioro normal del acabado exterior,
que incluye pero no se limita a rayones, abolladuras, cascarillas
de pintura o cualquier corrosión o decoloración ocasionada por
el calor, limpiadores abrasivos o químicos.
