PREPARE THE LED TORCH BEFORE FIRST USE:
Thetwobatteriesareinthebatterycompartmentondeliveryandaresecured
fortransport.Beforerstuse;unscrewtheLEDtorchhead,removethe
twobatteriesfromthebatterycompartment(seethe“Inserting/Changing
Batteries”chapter)andremovetheplasticinsulatordiscfromthebattery
compartment.Theninsertthebatteriesbackintothebatterycompartment.
Ensurethecorrectpolarity(+/-)wheninsertingthebatteriesandreattachthe
LEDtorchhead.
USE:
The walking stick can be folded down:
• Ifyouwouldliketofolddownthewalkingstick,pullandtwistthethreeparts
ofthestickapartandfoldthemover(g.1).Usetheattachedstraptosecure
foldedstickinplace(g.2).
• Toreassemblethestick,simplyundotheattachedstrapandpushthethree
partsbacktogether.
The walking stick is height-adjustable:
• Toadjusttheheightofthewalkingstick,pressdownthecatchonthebackof
thestick(g.3),extendthewalkingsticktothelengthyouwantandthenlet
thecatchlockbackintothecorrespondingholeinthewalkingstick.
Switching the LED torch on and off:
• PresstheOn/OffbuttononthetopoftheLEDtorchtoswitchonthelight.
• PresstheOn/OffbuttononthetopoftheLEDtorchagaintoswitchoffthe
light.
USING THE CANE:
Whenseated,rotatethelowerhandleandusebothhandlestopushyourself
upwards.(Fig4)
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WhenusingtheFoldableStandUpandGoCane,basicprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowed,which
includethefollowing:
1.CAUTION:Dangerofsuffocation!Keepthearticleandthepackagingmaterialawayfromchildren
and animals.
2.NeverlookdirectlyintothebeamoflightoftheLEDtorchandneverpointthebeamdirectlyatother
people or animals.
3.Batteriescanbedeadlyifswallowed.Keepbatteriesandthearticleoutofthereachofchildrenand
animals.Ifabatteryisswallowed,seekmedicalassistanceimmediately.
4.Beforeinsertingthebatteries,checkwhetherthecontactsonthelightandonthebatteriesareclean,
cleanthemifnecessary.
5.Useonlythebatterytypesspeciedinthetechnicaldata.
6.Alwaysreplaceallthebatteriesatthesametime.Donotusebatteriesofdifferenttypesorbrands,
orbatterieswithdifferentcapacities.Whenreplacingbatteries,notethecorrectpolarity(+/–).
7.Takethebatteriesoutofthetorchwhentheyaredischargedorifthearticleisnotbeingused.This
willpreventanydamagethatmightoccurifabatteryleaks.
8.Shouldabatteryhaveleaked,donotallowyourskin,eyesandmucousmembranestocomeinto
contactwiththebatteryacid.Ifyoutouchbatteryacid,rinsetheaffectedsiteswithabundantfresh
waterimmediatelyandcontactadoctorassoonaspossible.Removealeakingbatteryfromthe
articleimmediately.Cleanthecontactsbeforeyouinsertanewbattery.
9.Thebatteriesmustnotberechargedorreactivatedbyothermeans,dismantled,thrownintoare,
immersedinuids,orshort-circuited.
10.Maintainasufcientdistancefromsourcesofheatsuchashobs,ovens,replacesorlitcandles.
11.Donotdropthearticleorallowittobeknockedviolently.
12.Donotexposethearticletoextremetemperatures,strongtemperatureuctuations,directsunlight
or moisture.
13.ProtecttheLEDtorchfrommoistureandwetness.
14.Ifthearticleisdirty,wipeitwithadampcloth.Donotuseanycorrosiveorabrasivecleaningagents
tocleanthearticle!Theycoulddamagethesurface.
15.Ifthearticleisbroken,donotattempttorepairityourself.Intheeventofanydamage,contactour
customer service department.

1. OpenthebatterycompartmentbyunscrewingtheLED
torchhead.(Fig5)
2. Removetheusedbatteriesanddisposeoftheminan
environmentallyfriendlyway.
3. Inserttwobatteries(CR2032type)intothebattery
compartment.
Payattentiontothecorrectpolarity(+/–).
4. ThenscrewtheLEDtorchheadbackontothebattery
compartment.
Dear Customer
The walking stick that puts you back on your feet At last, there’s a walking stick that not only
supports you when you’re standing, but also helps you get up and sit down more safely too. Inspired
by an orthopaedic surgeon, it has two handles to provide two stages of support. First, the pivoting
lower handle folds down to help you up from a sitting position. Then the upper handle supports
you as you walk. The non-slip base has four feet - so it’s self-standing, extra stable and suitable for
all floor and ground surfaces. There’s a built-in LED torch in one handle - very reassuring on dark
paths and pavements - and a storage compartment in the other. Made from an aluminium alloy (so it’s
very light and very strong), this super supportive walking stick can adjusts from 94-100cm. Folding
in three sections for easy storage, it’s ideal for around the home, in the car, on holiday or when
travelling. The torch is powered by 2xCR2032 batteries (included).
