1.2Explanation ofTerms
(1)Receivebuffer
The receivebufferisabufferthat stores, asis, the datareceived fromthe host (the reception
data). The reception dataisstored inthe receivebuffertemporarily, and isthen processed
sequentially.
(2)Print buffer
The print bufferisabufferthat storesthe image datatobe printed.
(3)Print bufferfull
Thisisthe statewherethe print bufferisfull. Ifnewprint dataisinput whilethe print bufferis
full, the datainthe print bufferisprinted out and aline feed isexecuted. Thisisthe same
operation asthe LF operation.
(4)Start ofline
The start ofline statesatisfiesthe following condition:
Thereisno print data(including spacesand portionsofdataskipped due tobit image data)
currentlyinthe print buffer.
Thereisno print data(including portionsofdataskipped due to HT)
The print position isnot specified bythe ESC$ or ESC\ command.
(5)Printablearea
The maximumrange withinwhichprinting ispossibleunderthe printerspecifications. The printable
area forthisprinterisasfollows:

mode isturned off doesnot change. The default underline thickness is1dot.
