Inside you will nd many helpful ps on how to use and maintain your dehumidier eciently. Just a lile preventave care can
save you money and prolong the life of your dehumidier.
The purpose of the dehumidier is to remove the excess moisture in the air by detecng the humidity level in the room. By
keeping humidity within recommended levels, a dehumidier combats household damp, mould and mildew. Dehumidiers can
help to reduce the symptoms of asthma, allergies, and other respiratory health condions. They can also be used to help dry
laundry quicker and control moisture-based damage (such as the aermath of ooding, leaks or rising damp) to valuable
belongings and furniture.
HUMIDITY GUIDE
There will always be water vapour in the air. The water vapour (or commonly known as moisture) in the air is measured in
Relave Humidity (RH) %. RH is the rao of the actual amount of water vapour in the air to the amount it could hold when
saturated expressed as a percentage. Too much or too lile moisture in our homes can be unhealthy and uncomfortable. The
opmum humidity level is between 40% and 60% (RH) where we feel most comfortable.
Low humidity
Low humidity indoors causes excess drying which can trigger skin irritaons such as eczema, chapped skin and dry nose. It can
also damage possessions, such as wooden furniture, musical instruments and artwork by drying it out too much.
High humidity
High humidity indoors causes damp and condensaon. The damp le by condensaon can damage plaster, wall paper, furniture,
vehicles, mber windows, doors and clothes. It can be harmful to our health when bacteria thrives, causing mould and fungus.
Maintaining safe levels of humidity
It is important to maintain a consistent humidity range to preserve furniture, painngs, door and
window frames. High humidity causes swelling, corrosion, soening of glues and paint. Low
humidity causes shrinking, cracking, warping of wood surfaces and gaps in joints, doors and windows.
Frequent changes in humidity levels can accelerate damages to property and belongings.
Condensaon
The warmer the air, the more moisture the air can hold than colder air. So, when the air inside the house becomes colder, the
moisture contents in the air becomes saturated, and gets heavier
resulng in moisture concentraon on the coldest parts of the house parcularly on the windows, bathroom mirrors and walls.
This is condensaon, caused by a sudden increase in humidity, cooking, showers, drying clothes, inadequate venlaon and poor
thermal insulaon.
Condensaon does not disappear instantly even with the dehumidier on. Where excessive condensaon appears for example,
on your windows, you may want to open your windows to expel the excess humidity for several minutes. It will take a while for
the condensaon to generally increase the humidity in the room. Once the humidity level in the room around the dehumidier
is increased above the level you have set on the dehumidier, it will then begin the dehumidicaon process.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Use this appliance only as described in this instrucon manual. As with any electrical appliances, the
instrucons aim to cover as many situaons as possible, cauon and common sense should be used
when operang and installing this appliance.
• Do not alter or modify the appliance’s characteriscs in any way. Should repairs be necessary, con-
tact EcoAir’s Authorised Service Centre. Self-servicing or unauthorised servicing can be dangerous.
• The appliance must be installed in accordance with the relevant naonal legislaon.
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instrucon concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children and pets should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance If the power cable, cord is damaged It must be replaced by an EcoAir’s
Authorised Service Centre.
• The appliance must always be placed in an upright posion on an even level surface to avoid any
damage, during use or transportaon and when put into storage.
• The appliance must be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet and ensure that the voltage matches
the rated specicaons. If in doubt, check with a qualied technician.
• Do not use with extension cables or mul sockets. Do not pull or place strain on the power cord
when moving appliance.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance or when not in use.
• The appliance must not be placed or used where the atmosphere may contain combusble gasses,
oil or sulphur or solvent, or near heat sources (such as heaters or in server rooms) or excessive dust.
• Do not place or rest any objects on the appliance and do not cover while in use. Always observe the
minimum room size for storing and operang the appliance.
• Allow a minimum of 40 cm clearance around the appliance. Do not place any objects in close proxim-
ity to the appliance.
• Only operate the appliance with a clean lter in place. Clean the lters at least once every 2 weeks.
• To protect against electric shocks, do not immerse or spray the appliance or any of its parts in water.
• Ensure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked or covered when in use.
• Do not insert ngers or any objects into the air inlet or outlet openings.
• Do not operate or store the appliance under direct sunlight.
• Always switch of the power before unplugging from the socket.
• Do not leave the appliance running or plugged in over a long period of me unaended. Leaving
unaended electrical appliances running is unsafe.
• Always make sure your hands are dry when operang the appliance.
• Only operate the appliance within the specied operang temperature range.
• Do not run power cord under carpeng, or cover with rugs or runners. Arrange the cord away from
areas where it may become a trip hazard.
• The appliance is manufactured for dehumidicaon in domesc environments and must not be used
for other purposes.
• This appliance must not be used outdoor or wet areas such as bathrooms.
• Do not use the Laundry Mode funcon over a long period of me or unaended. When drying laun-
dry, do not place laundry on the appliance. Always ensure the laundry is placed a safe distance from
the dehumidier at least 40cm.

Our dehumidier contain the non-pollung refrigerant R290 with no harm to our
ozone, it helps reduce global warming potenal. This refrigerant complies with the
European Environmental Direcves.
There are some important safety precauons that you need to follow :-
1. Do not use these appliances in rooms smaller than shown in table below for
each of the models to prevent re, explosions.
2. Do not use these appliances in a room with connuous sources of ignion
such as open ames, gas appliances, electric heaters, cigaree smoking and
other sources of ignions.
3. Always store these appliances in a well-venlated area with a minimum size
shown in the above table.
4. Keep any required venlaon openings clear of obstrucons.
5. Never aempt to service or repair the appliances yourself, always ensure it
is only serviced by a EcoAir approved engineer using original EcoAir parts.
6. If these appliances are installed, operated or stored in a non-venlated area,
then the room must be designed to prevent the accumulaon of refrigerant
leaks. Accumulaon of refrigerant leaks in a non-venlated area can be ig-
nited by other causes such sparks or smoking or open ames from other
appliance or causes such as electric heaters, stoves or other sources of igni-
on in the area.

Should it be necessary to change the plug, please note the wires in the mains lead
are colour coded as follows:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN – LIVE
GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH
In the event that the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance do not
correspond with the coloured markings idenfying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The BLUE wire is NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the leer N or coloured BLACK.
2. The BROWN wire is LIVE and must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the leer L or coloured RED.
3. The GREEN/YELLOW is EARTH and must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the leer E or or coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.
4. Always ensure that the cord grip is posioned and fastened correctly.
5. If a 10A (BS 1363) fused plug is used it must be ed with a 10A or 13A -fuse.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician.

DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS ON OR OVER THE
APPLIANCE
Ensure the air inlet (A4) and air outlet (A2) are not
obstructed. Obstrucon will cause overheang and
malfuncon.
PLACE ON EVEN LEVEL FLOOR
• Always operate appliance on an even level oor to
avoid leakage
• If appliance is on carpet, ensure the appliance is stable
and level
IMPORTANT
• Do not move the appliance or remove the water tank
when the dehumidier is running. It may cause
damage, electric shock, water leak or spills.
• Aer turning the dehumidier o, the fan will connue
to run for 2 minutes. This is to help to cool and protect
the internal components. During these 2 minutes, do
not remote the power plug from the power socket, wait
for the fan to stop.
• Dusty, building sites or an industrial environment where
parcles can clog up the lter or internal components.

• Do not allow water to drip on to the appliance

WHERE TO POSITION YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER?
Ensure the unit is a safe distance away from a wall or
furniture and away from direct sunlight.
TIP: Posion the dehumidier in the dampest room or

DRYING YOUR LAUNDRY
Never place wet laundry over the appliance. Dry the laun-
dry on a rack with a minimum distance of 40 cm.

INSTALLATION
FIND A SUITABLE POSITION
• Posion the dehumidier in the dampest room or somewhere central like a landing or a hallway. As
long as the internal doors are open, the excess moisture from all of the room in the house will
migrate naturally towards the dehumidier and be processed.
• If there is a problemac area or a room in a high humidity level, use a hygrometer to measure
(available to purchase at ecoair.org) in the property, you may wish to place it in that area inially.
Once the problem is seled you may wish to relocate to the locaon above.
• Please refer to the important safeguards on the previous pages when posioning the dehumidier,
such as a safe distance away from the wall, avoid conned areas, ensure oor is even and level
surface.
INSTALLING THE DEHUMIDIFIER
• Unpack the dehumidier and plug in to the socket.
• Ensure there is a minimum distance around the dehumidier.
• Check that the dehumidier is level to avoid any water leaks.
• Turn on the dehumidier to start dehumidicaon.
INITIAL OPERATION
• When you rst use your dehumidier it will work hard to reduce the room humidity to your set
target humidity. This is the me when it will produce most of the water and need emptying more
frequently. As the room become dryer, the dehumidier collects less water. This is normal.
• Once the power is restored aer a power failure, the dehumidier will connue to operate at the
selected sengs prior to the power failure.

SETUP CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
STEP 1
Use a hose with an inner diameter of 9mm for connuous drainage:
1. Remove the Water Tank (A6) from the back of the dehumidier (Step 1)
2. Insert the Connuous Drainage Hose (B1) into the Connuous Drainage Outlet (A5). The hose
must lead to an appropriate drain at a downward slope with no sharp bends. (Step 2)
3. Posion the Water Tank Back into posion (A6) (Step 3).
NOTE:
• Ensure the water tank and connuous drainage hose are well ed in posion be-
fore commencing operaon.
• Never leave the end of connuous drainage hose outside when the temperature is
below 1°C to avoid leakage. (When the outdoor temperature is at freezing point the
water will not ow freely and this will cause a blockage consequently pushing the any
condensaon back to the dehumidier and leakage will occur).

1. Power Buon - Turns dehumidier ON or OFF. The dehumidier is also pre-set to operate on high fan speed
and on One Water Drop Mode. To turn o the dehumidier press the power buon, the compressor will
stop, but the fan will connue to run for a further 10 seconds.
2. Power/Humidity Indicator - Once turned on one of 3 coloured lights will appear indicang the current
ambient humidity in your environment. Coloured indicators for your ambient humidity; Blue denotes
< 40%RH, Green denotes 40 - 60%RH, Red denotes > 60%RH.
3. Mode Buon - Pre set modes, select 1 Water Drop for a target of 60%RH, 2 Water Drops for 40%RH and
Laundry mode for laundry drying or connuous running.
4. Fan Mode/ ChildLock - Select for High or Low fan speed. Press and hold this buon for 3 seconds to toggle
the child lock funcon.
5. Humidity Buon - Hold down for 5 seconds, to display the ambient temperature. Tap to set your desired
humidity level—each tap will increase the humidity by 5%RH up to maximum of 95%RH.
6. Timer key - Select mer ON or OFF. The mer can be set on hourly intervals from 1 to 24 hours.
7. Sleep Mode - Sleep mode will turn the sound and display light o and turn on the quiet mode.
8. Water Full Light Indicator - Lights up when the water tank is full, missing or inserted incorrectly.
9. Humidity Display Panel - The display on the dehumidier by default shows the ambient humidity level
whilst the dehumidier is running. It will also show the ambient temperature if you hold down for 5 seconds
(see 5 above).
Indicator Descripon
Constant: Humidity levels below 40% relave humidity.
Flashing Blue: Auto Defrost / Protecon.
Constant: Above 40% and below 60% relave humidity.
Constant: High humidity above 60% relave humidity
Flashing Red: Indicates the water tank is almost full.

• Always place the dehumidier in an
upright posion on an even level
surface.
• Plug the dehumidier into the mains
socket, the standby mode indicator
will remain on whilst the dehumidier
is plugged in to the mains.
• The dehumidier performs best at a
minimum ambient temperature of
15ºC . Where ambient temperature is
below 15ºC it will need to go into
defrost mode periodically to preserve
the life of the compressor.
• Press the ON/OFF buon to operate
the dehumidier.
• Operate within an ambient tempera-
ture of 5°c to 35°c.

• Select for a Pre-set target
humidity of 60%. The humidity
seng can be manually ad-
justed by pressing the humidi-
ty buon.

• Select for a Pre-set target
humidity of 40%. The humidity

Tip:
The dehumidier is pre-set to
60%RH. It will not immediately
operate if your environment is
below 60%RH. Change the hu-
midity seng to below the
ambient humidity to begin oper-
aon.
HUMIDITY BUTTON
• Select for the desired humidity.
• touch this buon to change the set
humidity.
The set humidity range is 20% - 25%- 30%-
35% - 40% - 45% - 50% - 55%- 60% - 65% -
70% - 75% - 80% - 85% - 90% - 95%.
There is an acve humidistat which shows the actual
humidity level (%RH) in the environment when the
dehumidier is running.
The display will show the actual humidity in the room a
few seconds aer the humidity level is set on the con-
trol panel.
LAUNDRY MODE
• Press the mode buon unl the Laundry
Symbol appears on the display screen.
• The dehumidier will operate connu-
ously at its maximum dehumidicaon
sengs unl the seng is changed or
the water tank is full.
• Whilst in Laundry mode the humidity
seng can not be changed.
Note: If connected to a hose pipe for connuous drain-
age the dehumidier will connue to run on its maxi-
mum dehumidicaon sengs.

OPERATION
TIMER
SETTING TIMER OFF
Press the "TIMER" Key to select your
desired running me
• Whilst the dehumidier is in
operaon press the mer
buon to set the dehumidier
to turn o aer a set interval
between 0-24hrs (1hr Incre-
ments)
• Once set, the mer LED will
remain on unl the set interval
is met and the dehumidier
turns o.
• Once the dehumidier is
switched o, wait 3 minutes
before resuming operaon.
SETTING TIMER ON
Pre set Timer Funcon:
• Whilst on Standby mode (--) press the mer buon
to set the dehumidier to come on aer a set
intervals between 0-24hrs.
• So long as the dehumidier is plugged into the
mains, the dehumidier will switch ON aer the
selected me has lapsed.
• The dehumidier will operate at the selected
sengs before the dehumidier was placed on
standby mode. It will connue dehumidifying unl
the humidity seng is reached, the sengs are
changed, water tank is full or unit switched OFF.
• If the set humidity is higher than the ambient
humidity the dehumidier will turn on however will
not dehumidify the air unl the humidity sengs
are adjusted.
Note: Wait 3 minutes before resuming operaon. Aer
the dehumidier has stopped (other than tank full) it
will not restart for approximately 3 minutes. This is to
protect the dehumidier and is not a fault. Operaon
will automacally restart aer 3 minutes.
TANK FULL INDICATOR
• Indicator lights up when water tank is
full or incorrectly inserted. The dehu-
midier will automacally switch o.
The indicator light will turn red and the
dehumidier will sound 3 beeps.
• Remove water tank, empty and rein-
state correctly.
Note:
• During Sleep mode the 3 beeps will not sound.
• When the water tank is full or removed, the controls
are disabled.
USEFUL INFORMATION
• When you rst use your dehumidier set to laundry
mode to reduce the humidity quickly to your de-
sired level. As the humidity seles, use the low fan
seng.
• When you set the Timer O, the dehumidier may
turn o prior to the set interval if it has reached the
set humidity.
• To cancel the mer seng press the Timer buon
unl you reach “00”.
• Auto Restart - Once the power is restored aer a
power failure, the appliance will connue to
operate at the selected sengs prior to the power
failure.
• Auto Defrost / Protecon - When frost builds up on
the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle o
and the fan will connue to run unl the frost
disappears.
• Auto shut o - The dehumidier will automacally
switch o when the tank is full or removed and
when humidity seng is reached.

EMPTYING THE WATER TANK
The Water level Indicator lights up when the water tank is full. The appliance will stop operang.
Allow to stand for approximately 10 minutes to ensure all water collected drips into the water tank
before removing the tank.
1. To remove the Water Tank (A6), slide it out gently by gripping the water tank from boom
Handle (A7) and pull out carefully.
2. Remove lid.
3. Pour the water away by lng the water tank, (see step 3 picture) to the right side. Clean the
water tank if needed.
4. Insert the water tank back into to the correct posion. The Water Full light indicator illuminates
if the water tank is not correctly in posion. If this happens, reinsert again.
NOTE :
• Clean the water tank with mild detergent if necessarily. Do not use solvent, abrasive or
hot water.
• When cleaning the water tank, take cauon to avoid damaging the oat.
• Do not lt the dehumidier when removing the water tank. This is to prevent water
leaking which may cause electric shock.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORING THE APPLIANCE
STEP 1 - CLEANING YOUR FILTER
1. Turn o and leave for 5 minutes, then unplug
the dehumidier. Remove the lter.
2. Clean the lter with a brush or vacuum clean-
er. (Washing will weaken the germicidal eect
of the lter).
3. Reinsert the lter back into posion.
Tip: Clean your lter every 2 weeks to keep your
air clean and prolong the life of your dehumidier.
The frequency will depend on condions of opera-
on.
Note: If the lter is covered with dust, the airow
and the performance of the dehumidier will be
aected.
STEP 3- CLEANING YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Turn o and leave for 5 minutes, then unplug
the dehumidier.
2. Clean the surface with a so damp cloth.
3. Dry thoroughly with a towel aer cleaning.
4. For cleaning tank, see Emptying the Water
Tank secon.
Cauon:
• Do not wash the unit or immerse in water.
• Do not let water drip into the air inlet or
outlet.
• When cleaning the water tank, take cauon to
avoid damaging the oat.
STEP 2 - REPLACING YOUR FILTER
Carbon Filter (B2) can be purchased for this dehu-
midier. Press the two clips gently to open a gap
and insert the carbon lter in the frame lter. Do
not clean the Carbon Filter with water!
It is recommended that the outer lter is replaced
every 6 months for opmal performance and
hygiene standards. To purchase a replacement

STEP 4 - STORING YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Turn o the dehumidier, wait 5 minutes and
unplug the dehumidier from the power
socket.
2. Leave the dehumidier to drain for
approximately one day. Clean and dry the
water tank.
3. Clean the lter and the dehumidier. Cover
the dehumidier to prevent it from
gathering dust. Store upright in a cool dry
place.
4. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
