Consult this User’s Guide in all cases where Safety Symbol is used, to find out the nature of the potential
HAZARD and any actions to be taken. If the equipment is used in a manner not specified in this User ’s
Guide, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
Intended Use:
The Smart Ionizing System E-AID202 is a self-contained, ionized air blower designed to remove static charge
from non-conductive objects. The ionizer is designed with a built-in LED touch screen which indicates real
time ion balance, fan speed. It also equipped with automatic emitter points cleaner to periodically clean the
emitter points therefore saving some manual work and time.
WARNING
To reduce the risks associated with hazardous voltage which, if not avoided, could result in serious
injury or death:
•Be sure that the ground terminal is connected to a grounded cable and the terminal knob tightened.
Failure to do so may result in electrical shock.
•Do not position the equipment such that it is difficult to disconnect the plug.
•When doing electrode needle maintenance, be sure to disconnect the AC plug from the outlet. Do not
connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands as doing so puts you at risk of electrical shock or
injury.
•In order to prevent accidents, if any of the following problems occur, turn OFF the switch and
disconnect the AC plug from the outlet. Be sure to contact our sales representative or authorized dealer to
request inspection and repair. Repairing the product yourself is dangerous. Never attempt to do so.
- The fan sometimes does not turn when the switch is turned ON.
- The fan turns in an abnormally slow or irregular manner.
- The fan turns but makes abnormal noises.
- The unit becomes abnormally hot or you smell a burning odor.
- Any other abnormality or malfunction occurs
•Do not use the product for any purpose but as described in Intended Use statement.
•Do not use this device if the power supply or power cord have been damaged.
•Do not replace power supply or cord with non-3M supplied parts.
•Do not operate this product in a wet or damp environment.
•Do not use this equipment on the floor, it is intended to be used on a table top only.

To reduce the risks of fire and explosion which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death:
The unit does not incorporate explosion-proof specifications. Never attempt to use it in a place
where there are flammable or volatile gases. Doing so may ignite the gases and cause an explosion.
To reduce the risks associated with hazardous voltage and fire which, if not avoided, could result in
serious injury or death:
Never attempt to disassemble or modify the unit, or alter or repair circuits, as the unit contains
components that generate high voltage. Do not directly touch the inside of the machine, including the
electrode needles. Doing so may result in severe or fatal injury due to the hazardous high voltage
generated internally, or cause a fire or malfunction of the unit.
SECTION ONE FEATURES:
◆LED TOUCH SCREEN display technology, the display interface is full and bright, compact and intuitive,
real-time monitoring the ion balance. It has a multi-level function menu that can be manually operated, fast
and convenient.
◆Large air volume, range from one to ten classes air control technology, using large air volume DC fan,
eliminating static electricity quickly and fast.
◆Unbalanced alarm prompt technology, alarm threshold voltage can be set manually. When the ion
balance voltage is out of balance and exceeds the set threshold voltage, the unit will automatically alarm.
◆This machine is equipped with automatic cleaning function. The cleaning interval can be set by software.
The default cleaning brush will automatically clean the ion emitting needle two times every two hours.
◆Optional warm air function. Temperature is adjustable.
◆Ion balance correction technology, through the air outlet sensing device, automatically corrects the best
effect when the ion deviates from the equilibrium state. You can compensate 100V by touch screen positive
and negative, so that the corrected ion balance can reach the best static elimination performance.

SECTION THREE SCREEN MENU SETTING
3.1 Function Explanation:
3.2 Setting menu details:
1) Warning Voltage: Factory default value is positive/negative 50V. If need to reset, please click it, and press
“C”to delete current data, then select intended numbers of voltage from the right hand side number keyboards
and press “Ent”to end the setting. NOTE: the setting ranges from 0-99V.
2) Ion Balance Voltage Calibration: Strongly recommend professional technician to do this setting.
First of all, hand over the unit and keep distance about 300mm (or desired distance but within 900mm to make
sure proper static elimination performance ) from the static charged plate meter. Make test and adjust the ion

Section 5 –Installation and Operation
E-DNS06 Ionizing Air Snake can neutralize charges and eliminate dust inaccessible trouble spot hard to reach
area. It is a hand free flexible ionizing nozzle. The height and angle of nozzle can easily be adjusted.
Put the device at the working position you need. You may screw it if it is needed. The Air Snake comes with
a quick release air connector; simply connect it to a standard 8mm air hose. To connect tubing to quick connect
fitting: Cut end of plastic tubing square and clean. Push against the collar with thumbnail. While holding collar
in, push tubing into the fitting until it bottoms out completely.
Please ensure that the H．T．Cable securing gland is firmly tightened. This insures a good earth connection.
Connect the power cord to its corresponding inlet on the base of the ionizer.
Turn the unit on with the red button.
Section 6 Maintenance
Keep the air snake clean and free from oil, water and particle contamination.Use air drying and cleansing filter
regulator with 5 micron filtration. Ensure that all connections, pipe work and filter regulators will allow
minimum 15 CFM of air flow. Clean and purge filter regulators periodically and check for contamination in the
air delivery pipe. From time to time remove the front nozzle cap by unscrewing anti-clockwise, disconnect from
H.V. electric supply before removing the nozzle cap. Clean around the electrode pin with a pipe cleaner or
cylindrical soft brass brush. Ensure the plastic inner lining is free from gray or black carbonized residue. The
point of the electrode pin can be cleaned by pushing a pencil end eraser on to the electrode pin and rotating.
Blow out the loose debris and re-fit the nozzle cap before re-connecting the high voltage supply and operating.
The ion balance voltage and static elimination time of the ion air curtain are in compliance with the ESD
standard, and the static elimination time is measured
Section 7 Warranty and Service
1. The warranty period is one year. We will repair the products free of charge due to the quality problems
caused by the product's own parts, materials and process problems within one year from the date of sale.
2. After the maintenance period
After the maintenance period of the products sold by us, we are still responsible for repairing the labor of
the products to protect the our customers’interest.
