CARRY COT
STA501

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

WARNINGS
• DO NOT USE THE BASSINET ONCE THE CHILD CAN SIT UP
UNAIDED.
• THIS CARRY COT SHOULD ONLY BE PLACED ON A FIRM,
LEVEL, DRY SURFACE OR CLICKED SECURELY INTO AN
EDWARDS & CO STROLLER.
• THIS CARRY COT IS ONLY SUITABLE TO USE WITH EDWARDS
& CO M SERIES STROLLERS, SUCH AS THE OSCAR MX.
• THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF THE CHILD USING THIS CARRY
COT/BASSINET ATTACHMENT IS 9KG.
• IT IS UNSAFE TO USE ACCESSORIES OR MATTRESSES NOT
APPROVED FOR USE WITH THIS CARRY COT.
• DO NOT PLACE ANY TOYS OR OBSTRUCTIONS IN THE CARRY
COT.
• WHEN USING INSIDE, ALWAYS HAVE THE CANOPY OPEN AND
COVER OFF, WITH UNDERNEATH VENT HOLES OPEN.
• This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided
• Only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.
• Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot
• Do not use if any part of the carry cot is broken, torn or missing.
• Keep away from fire and extreme heat. Do not store in areas that may
get particularly hot in summer like roof space or beside shed walls.
• Do not permit other children to play unsupervised next to the carry cot.
• Regularly examine the handle and under side of the carry cot for signs of
wear.
• Make sure children are clear of any moving parts when adjusting the Carry
Cot otherwise they may be injured.
• This Carry Cot is suitable for one child only. Do not carry extra children or
bags in the carry cot. Do not place heavy weights on the handle.
• When installing the Carry Cot in the stroller, ensure the parking brake is
engaged at all times.
• The head of the child in the Carry Cot should never be lower than the
body of the child.
• Do not add another mattress on top of the mattress provided.

ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the mattress and unzip the lining inside the cot.
2. Locate the two bars on top of the base inside the cot. Pull
one of the bars into the housing as pictured.
3. Pull the second bar into it’s housing.
4. The cot should have rigid sides as pictured
5. Zip back the lining.
6. Place the mattress inside the cot.
7. Raise the canopy by simultaneously pressing the buttons on
the side and lifting upwards.
8. Place the cover on the cot.

COLLAPSING THE CARRY COT
1. Remove the mattress and unzip the lining inside the cot.
2. Locate the two bars on top of the base inside the cot. Pull
one of the bars out of the the housing (as pictured in the
Assemly page).
3. Pull the second bar out of the housing
4. The cot can be collapsed as pictured.

STROLLER ATTACHMENT & REMOVAL
Attaching
1. To install the Carry Cot insert the tongues on the accessory into
the stroller frame adapter housing. We only recommend installing
the Carry Cot in reverse facing position (where baby looks at you).
Removing
1. There are two buttons located on the stroller frame, just
underneath where the Carry Cot’s tongue connects . Press one of
the release buttons until it depresses.
2. Press the second release button on the other side until it
depresses. You do not need to press each button simultaneously.
3. Lift the Carry Cot up as pictured.
IMPORTANT - Only the Edwards & Co Carry Cot can be connected with the
Edwards & Co Oscar. Do not use other brands.

UNAIDED OR WHEN THEIR WEIGHT EXCEEDS 9KG. WHATEVER IS EARLIER.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Important information
• We recommend storing your carry cot indoors to avoid
corrosion.
• NEVER get the mattress inner foam wet. If this gets wet, replace
the mattress only with an approved Edwards & Co mattress.
• To clean the mattress lining or cot lining, we recommend a warm
wash (30 degress) in a normal wash (for front loaders) or gentle
wash (for top loaders).
• We recommend cleaning the canopy and outer material with a
damp sponge and mild detergent.
• We recommend regular inspection and maintenance of locking
devices and security of essential components.
• Regularly check all parts for wear and tear. NEVER clean with
abrasive, ammonia-based, bleach-based or spirit-based cleaners.
• Avoid sun exposure for long periods to prevent fading and
damage to the fabric.
• Avoid submersing the product in salt water.
• NEVER wring any fabrics.
• Dry thoroughly before storage.
• Store in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight which
could damage or fade your carry cot.
• Store in a safe place when it is not being used. Avoid placing
heavy objects on top of it.
• NEVER allow the carry cot to come into contact with corrosive
substances such as battery acid or petroleum products.

WARRANTY
All Edwards & Co products are guaranteed for two years from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship.
If we determine that the product has a manufacturing fault, we will
repair or replace it free of charge to you. The decision to repair
or replace is solely at the discretion of Edwards & Co. Proof of
purchase must be provided.
The warranty is “return to base” and not a free in-home service. This
means the customer is responsible for any inwards freight charge to
return the product to an Edwards & Co representative for warranty
or service.
Our warranty excludes claims resulting from misuse, abnormal use,
overloading, general wear and tear, child outgrowing the product,
not following instructions, transportation damage (including airline
or freight damage), poorly maintained product, dropped goods,
negligence, second-hand product, modified product, colour fading,
over inflation, mould, damage to handle foam in use or fabric
cuts and tears. Our warranty also does not cover tyre punctures
or corrosion to frames or fasteners as a result of atmospheric or
environmental conditions.
Any replacement will not give the right for the warranty period to be
extended.
Edwards & Co does not cover warranty if the product has been
purchased second hand or from an unauthorised reseller.
