COLOR CRT MONITOR
FINE CONTRAST
The front-button-operated Fine Contrast function, exclu-
sive to EIZO, provides advanced image customization in just
about any application. It features five user-selectable modes: Text,
Browser, Picture, Graphic and Movie, each with unique color
temperature, brightness and contrast settings. Additionally, an
sRGB mode, accessible through the OSD, offers color matching
with software and other peripheral devices that also support the
sRGB color space.
COLOR RESTORATION
This function detects the slight changes of color tonality
and brightness that occur with all CRT monitors, and restores the
settings to their original, factory-installed values. As a result, the
monitor delivers much longer service life at the highest levels of
accuracy.
GOOD CONNECTIONS
The front button allows switching between two video
inputs (D-Sub and BNC). Either can be prioritized when two
computers are connected. There is also a built-in USB hub with
one upstream and four downstream ports for easy connection of
peripherals. One downstream port is accessed by a convenient
drop-down lid at the front of the monitor.

This software enables precise, individual adjustment of
several key display parameters.
WINDOW MOVIE MODE
Independently adjustable brightness levels for foreground/
background windows.
AUTO-SIZING
One touch on the Auto button automatically sizes and
centers the displayed image in relation to the screen frame.
SIGNAL FILTERS
These filters correct smearing and ghosting of the image
caused by defective signals from a graphics card.
AUTOMATIC COLOR CORRECTION
Compensates for uneven video signal levels and unifies color
temperature when two computers are connected.
UNIFORMITY ADJUSTMENT
Reduces geomagnetic-induced color uniformity errors at the
edges of the screen.
RAPID WARM-UP
Full operational mode with stable brightness is attained in
about 10 minutes compared with 40 minutes for conven-
tional CRTs.
