General
•Each warning sign In the document is to put the focus on some detail.
•Please be aware before setting up the X-treme Big One that the power entrance is located
below in the “Console box”.
This can be accessed through the rear of the “Console box”.
•All cables which are too long once installed, should be folded and placed in the cable guide.

Unpacking
•This document contains guidelines to build the big one extreme.
Everything to build the machine will be in the parcel as you see below.
•A document with a list of material included in the parcel is included.
•Caution is required when opening the parcel, especially at the side which
contains the frame panels, there 2-3 persons are required!

1. Assembly of frame
•When unpacking the frame parts you should notice that these are numbered from F1 up to F9.
•Please make sure that all frames are mounted correctly & firmly fixed.
•First we start to assemble F1 and F2.
•Each corner will be fixed by using 5 screws.

•Next step is to mount panel F3 also with 5 screws.
•The following panel to be mounted is F4 using the same 5 screws.

Please be aware that the PC ’s for the running RG lights are mounted on the panel F2 & F3.
Do make sure these are not damaged! These are covered with some lexan/cardboard for
protection.
This lexan can be removed once all panels are mounted.

•We can now start with the upper parts F5 > F9.
•First we will install frame part F5, then part F6 and part F7.
•Each upper part is fixed to the lower part using screws M6x9 + washer M6 + nut M6.
•This will be done at the inner side of the frame.

•Each corner from the top half will be fixed with 5 screws as shown below.
•The upper front F8 will be fixed in the corners as shown above and at the inside it will be fixed
to the lower part with 2 times 2 connections.

•The latest part to be mounted is frame F9.
•Notice the frame F9 will be installed from the outside.
This will be fixed with 8 screws M6x6 at the inside of the frame.

•The next step will be the assembly of the 2x “head front long” and 2x “head front short”.
•Please be aware that all 4 parts are different.
•At the front the “head front long“ is equipped with a bracket containing a Power supply, a RGB
controller and a Domino PCB + already installed cables in a cable guide.
•The short parts are marked with “L” for left and “R” for right.
•A bracket, already mounted on the 4 heads, needs to be fitted in the corner of the frame.
•Now each bracket can be fixed with a metal screw (6121. 813).

2. Assembly of controls casing & cables
•Now we can install the “controls casing”.
The bottom rear should fit in the groove of the aluminium profile at the bottom of frame F4.
Once this is at his place it can be fixed with the toggle latch.
•The latch should be fitted into the hook which can be found on the frame F4.

NOW WE FIRST NEED TO

INSIDE THE FRAME!!! DO NOT YET FIX IT.

•To fix the “control casing” properly the toggle latch can be adjusted by turning the latch (see
previous picture).
•The grounding wire (see previous picture) from the “controls casing” should be then
connected to the grounding lip of the frame F4.
•We will now fix the wooden floorplate labelled “B6” on the door entrance as shown in picture
below. This plate should be equipped with a cable guide at the bottom. The mounting holes in
the wooden plate are already present. We only need to drill holes of 3.6mm in the aluminium
frame at these locations once the plate has been well positioned.

•Once the “control casing” is at its position we can now start with the cabling inside the
“control casing”.
•The following cables are now available:
oPowercables (3x) for the RGB controller boards RGB_2 > RGB_4.
oMains cable for the TV
•These cables will be guided through the cable guides which are situated at the door (wooden
panel B6) and at the bottom of the right frame F3 and back frame F2..
•You’ll notice that the RGB controller boards power cables have a different length.
•The shortest will be guided up to the RGB_2 controller board and connected.
•The longest will be guided up to the RGB_4 controller board and connected.
•The remaining will be guided up to the RGB_3 controller board and connected.
•See picture below that shows way to connect the power connector.

•The mains cable for the TV will be guided through the same cable guides up to the mid of the
rear panel F2.
There we’ll need to cut a hole in the cable guide so the mains cable can could be guided up
towards the TV powercord.
•We will now guide the TV mains powercord through the small cable guide at the middle of the
backpanel.
•We can now connect both powercords to each other.

3. Assembly of RG led strips and datacables
•The next step is to connect all data cables (9 15.1257, 9 15.1258 & 9 15.1259) between the
controller boards and the RGB ledstrips and installing the RGB led PCB’s.
•Below is the picture which shows the connection at the controller board side.

•The cables connected to the RGB_1 board, situated at the bottom right of the controls casing,
will be guided through the small cable guide (as shown in picture below.
•The cables from RGB_1 up to RGB_4 will be guided outside to the corner of the frame through
the holes foreseen.
•We start now with the placement of the RGB led boards in each corner.
•In the package is a bag with about 8 pieces of “PVC print montage” parts.
•These parts will be used to fix the RGB led boards into the corners as shown in drawing below.

•In each package of a “corner piece” you should find some extra packages with the RGB led
boards required to build 1 side.
•Each package is marked with “Lower parts” or “Upper parts”.
•We will start with the “lower parts”. These need to be fixed in each corner starting at the
bottom.
•Connect the shortest datacable 9 15.1257 to the white connector of RGB led board “A”.
•Sequence of mounting the RGB led boards (see marking at the back of the led boards)
1x A (to start with at bottom).

•The “PVC print montage” parts will be placed at the beginning and end of each completed RGB
led board strip. Also at each connection between 2 RGB led boards, a “PVC print Montage”
piece will be placed.
•During the building of the bottom strip the data cable 9 15.1258 (datacable for upper strips)
and datacable 9 15.1259 (datacable for split connection) will be guided upwards. See also
some pictures on the following pages.
•Check also the pictures at next page which show the assembly of the lower RGB led strip.
