Manual The Big One II
Necessary tools:
•1 Electric drill
•1 Bitholder
•Bits:
a. Wooden crosscut
b. Metal crosscut
c. Indus 5mm
•2 Ladders
•1 Rubber hammer
•1 Cutting pliers
•1 Drill Ø3.6mm
Sequence of operation:
After you have removed the plastic foil you will see the manual at the back of the
crate. Use this manual to avoid extra actions.
Open the crate:
•Remove the oblique boards at the side of the crate.

•Unscrew the upper bolts at the front
•Unscrew the front boards so that the front side of the crate can be removed.
•Remove the orange cord
Check the contents of the plastic bag (on the prize-box)
•Take the plastic bag with screws and check if the contents correspond with the
enclosed list.

Construction:
•Take the back side of the crane out of the crate and put it on the supplied
wooden blocks (2 blocks / wall).

•Take the left side out of the crate and put it square with the back side.
Look at the position of the brackets on the photo for the difference between
the left and the right side.
•Anchor both walls at each other with 3x screw n° 3.

•Take all plates and put them temporary aside.
•Take the right side and put it the same as the left side (the right side is the
mirror image of the left side).
•Attach it to the back side with 3x screw n° 3 ( this is only temporarily so do not
screw them completely).
•Remove the red spanwires with which the gantry is attached and push the
gantry forward.
•Take the profiles in front of the gantry.
•Unwrap the longest pack and position the partitioning profile (= profile with 2x
two pins) between the two sides (see drawing). Attach this profile in the
provided holes with a rubber hammer.

•Screw the 3 bolts n°3.
•Remove one board of the crate, to take out the prize-box

•Remove all bags with red balls.
Unwrap the prize-box and put it in the crane (the prize box can not pass
through the doorway).
Take the frontwall out of the crate and anchor it with the two sides. Use 6x
screw n°3.
•Put 8x bolts n° 2

•Remove the plastic of the wooden backpanel
•Assemble the wooden backpanel with 4 screws n° 9.
•Remove the red spanwires from the three wheelconstructions.
•Put them according to the drawing below.

•Lift the wheelblocks so you can put them across the lower profiles.
•Drill holes for the screws with a Ø 3.6 mm drill and attach the wheelblocks at
the crane. Use screw n° 4
•Screw the wheelblocks on to the crane as follows:
oStart with the wheelblocks at the corners of the crane

oAttach the wheelblocks in the middle of the front and the back side.

oPlace the wheelblock at the right side.
oMake a crossconnection in the middle.

oMount this connection with the left side.
( When the floor construction is difficult to install, you can assemble the
wheelblock first so that you can put it separately.
Afther that, you re-attach all the parts.
•Remove the wooden blocks under the crane. Now the crane stands on the
wheels.

•Assemble the head on the crane. Two persons on a ladder put the head on
the upper profile of the front wall, while a third person screws the head in the
crane.
Screw with 3 butterfly screws (n° 1+7+6) the top on the upper profile in the
front wall. Screw the 2 wooden screws on the spotlight construction in a way
that the 2 spots turn inside.
Now put a butterfly bolt (n° 1+7+6) behind the spots, through the hole of the 2
brackets. Fasten at the front with a butterfly nut (n° 6+7+8).
Do this on the left as well as the right side of the head.

•Put the lampshade back at their place and attach them with the assembled
screws n°4.
•Place the back roof-panel (with alu profile) on the roof and slide it into the
middle profile.

•Slide the front roof-panel into the crane until it lies in the right position.

•Release the cable of the front panel (where the prize-box must be placed) and
put the cable on top of the prize-box.
•Turn the attachment-corner on the back of the crane.
•Install the prize-box.
Tip over the prize-box in the floor-construction first to the back and then to the
front.
Loosen the cable, close it and put it in the cable channel. Attach the prize-box
at the front side with a screw n° 4.

Attach the prize-box at the front side with a screw n°4.
•Put the floor plates in the crane. Start with the largest plate. Make sure that the
u-shaped hole is at the back. Put the plate first in its place at the front side and
let the plate fall down at the backside (see photo below).

•Now place the 3 other floor plates.

•Remove the red spanwires from the grab.
•Take the gantry out of the crate and put it in the crane. Make sure that the
Elaut nameplate is visible from the front side of the crane.
•Take the grab out of the grab-bar and hang the gantry in the crane.
•Remove all the red spanwires from the gantry.

•Remove the protection foil of the aluminium cable channel.
Put the cable of the prize-box up in the head and assemble the cable channel
with 2x screw n°4.
