Use this key to open the incoming call list and
also to scroll in lists and menus.

:
Use this key to open the menu or
to conrm an entry.

Use this key to open list of themost recently
dialled numbers.
·DELETkey :
Use this key to clear/delete individual digitsthat
have been entered and also to end the menu.
13 FLASHkey
If you dial a number and the line is busy, press
the FLASHkey and the REDIALkey to redial
the number.
14 REDIALkey
Use this key to call the last dialed number again.
Or insert a dialing pause when entering
telephone numbers.
15 HANDSFREEkey
With this key you can accept a call in handsfree
mode, start a call in handsfree mode or switch
the handsfree mode on or o during a call.

06 GETTING STARTED
Positioning the phone
·You need to position your base within 2metres of a
telephonelinesocket so that the cable will reach.
·Do not place this product on an unstable surface.
The phone can fall and be seriously damaged.
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment 01 and insert the batteries.
Pleasepay attention to the polarity. Once the batteries are in,
putthe battery compartment cover back on.
The time should now be displayed on thescreen.
Connecting the power supply
Insert the plug into the port ( ) 02 on the back of thedevice
and theother end into a 240V power socket.
Connecting the handset cord
Insert a plug into the handset-cord-socket ( ) 03 on the left side of
the phone and the other one in the handset.
Connecting the telephone line
·Insert the transparent plug into the socket ( ) 04
on the underside ofthe phone.
·Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into
the wallsocket.
Set the ringer volume
Slide the switch 05 to loud, medium, or quiet as needed.
Adjust the handset volume
Move the slider 06 as needed. Upwards to increase and
downwards it becomes quieter.

08 USING THE PHONE
Incoming calls
> Receive a call
When you receive a call, the telephone rings and the red LED
willash. Pick up the handset to answer the call;
Or press the HANDSFREEkey to answer in handsfree mode.
> End a call
Replace the handset on the phone or if using handsfree mode,
pressthe HANDSFREEkey .
During a call
> Hands-free mode
Handsfree mode lets you talk to your caller without holding
thehandset. It also allows other people in the room to listen to
yourconversation over the loudspeaker.
·Activating/deactivating hands-free mode during a call:
Press the HANDSFREEkey
> Muting the microphone
With the call muted, you can talk to someone nearby without letting
the caller hear you during a call.
·Activating/deactivating the mute feature during a call:
Press the MUTEkey
> Audio boost feature
This BOOSTER function allows you to amplify the handset earpiece.
The audio boost feature will be turned o automatically when
thecall is ended.
·Activating/deactivating the audio boost feature during a call:
Press the BOOSTERkey

09USING THE PHONE
Make a call
·Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.
·Enter the telephone number.
OR
·If using handsfree mode, press the HANDSFREEkey and
wait for the dial tone.
·Enter the telephone number.
Last number redial
·Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.
·Press the REDIALkey .
Outgoing call list and incoming call list
·Use OUTkey to open the outgoing call list.
·Use the ARROWkeys to open the incoming call list.
·If a list is full, each new entry will replace the oldest.
·You can make a call directly from a list entry.
Scroll to the desired entry and pick up the handset.
·You can delete individual entries or the entire list.
Scroll to the desired entry.
Press and release the DELETkey .
Press and hold for 3 seconds the DELETkey to delete all entries
of the list.

10 ONE-TOUCH MEMORY
You can store 4 of your most important telephone numbers under
theONE-TOUCHMEMORYkeys .
Store a one-touch number
If you wish to cancel storing a number, replace the handset on
thephone. The storing process will be cancelled and any number
that was previously stored will be retained.
·Dial the number you want to store.
·Press the MEMORYkey .
·Press a ONE-TOUCHMEMORYkey to assign a number.
Dial a one-touch number
·Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.
·Press the ONE-TOUCHMEMORYkey under which the number
you want is stored.
OR
·If using handsfree mode, press the HANDSFREEkey and
wait for the dial tone.
·Press the ONE-TOUCHMEMORYkey under which the number
you want isstored.

You can store 10 of your most frequently dialled telephone numbers
under the NUMBERkeys .
Store a number in the quick dial memory
If you wish to cancel storing a number, replace the handset on the
phone. The storing process will be cancelled and any number that
was previously stored will be retained.
·Dial the number you want to store.
·Press the MEMORYkey .
·Press a NUMBERkey to assign a number.
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 0)
Dial a quick dial memory number
·Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.
·Press the MEMORYkey .
·Press the NUMBERkey under which the number
you want isstored.
OR
·If using handsfree mode, press the HANDSFREEkey and
wait for the dial tone.
·Press the MEMORYkey .
·Press the NUMBERkey under which the number
you want isstored.

Safety precautions
·Read through the safety precautions
and the user guide before using your
phone.
·The device's feet do not usually leave
any marks on surfaces. However, due
to the many dierent varnishes and
polishes available for furniture, contact
marks on the surfaces cannot be
completely ruled out.
·Do not use the device in the event of
apower failure. It is also not possible
to make emergency calls during a
powerfailure.
·Do not use the phone in potentially
explosive environments, such aspaint
shops.
·Never expose the phone to heat sources,
direct sunlight or other electrical devices.
·The device is not splashproof. For
this reason, do not install it in damp
environments such as bathrooms or
shower rooms.
·Protect your phone from moisture, dust,
corrosive liquids and vapours.
·Only use the power adapter indicated
on the phone and, when it is charging,
the power socket must be easily
accessible.
·Only use rechargeable batteries
that meet the specications. Never
use conventional (non-rechargeable)
batteries or other battery types as this
could result in signicant health risks
and/or personal injury. Rechargeable
batteries with visible damage must be
replaced.
·Stop using defective devices or have
them repaired by our Service team, as
they could interfere with other wireless
services.
·Do not use your device if the screen
is cracked or broken. Broken glass or
plastic could injure your hands or face.
Have the device repaired by our Service
team.
·Do not hold the rear of the device to
your ear when it is ringing or when
speaker mode is activated, otherwise
you risk serious and permanent damage
to your hearing.
·The phone can cause interference in
analogue hearing aids (humming or
whistling) or overload them. If you
require assistance, please contact your
hearing aid supplier.
·Using your phone may aect nearby
medical equipment. Be aware of the
technical conditions in your particular
environment, especially if you are
somewhere like a doctor's surgery.
If you use a medical device, such
as a pacemaker, please contact the
manufacturer of this device. They will
be able to advise you regarding the
susceptibility of the device to external
sources of high-frequency energy.

Care
·Wipe your phone with a damp cloth or
an anti-static cloth. Do not use solvents
or microbre cloths.
·Never use a dry cloth, because this can
create a static charge.
·In rare cases, contact with chemical
substances can cause changes to the
device’s exterior. Due to the wide variety
of chemical products available on the
market, it was not possible to test every
substance.
·Damage to high-gloss nishes can be
carefully rectied using display polishes
for mobile phones.
Contact with liquid
What to do if your phone comes into
contact withliquid:
·Disconnect the power supply.
·Remove the batteries and leave
thebattery compartment open.
·Allow the liquid to drain from the
device. Pat all parts of the device dry.
·Place the device in a warm, dry place for
at least 72 hours (not in a microwave,
an oven or somewhere similar) with
the battery compartment open and the
keypad facing down.
·Do not switch the device on again
until it is completely dry.
Once it has fully dried out, you will
normally be able to use it again.

Disposal
·Batteries should not be disposed of with
general household waste. Observe your
local waste disposal regulations, the
details of which can be obtained from
your local authority.
·All electrical and electronic products
should be disposed of separately
from the municipal waste stream via
designated collection facilities provided
by the government or your local
authority.
·This crossed-out wheelie bin symbol
on the product means the product
is covered by Directive 2012/19/EU.
·Disposing of your old device correctly
by taking it to a designated collection
facility will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the
environment and human health.
Also, used electrical and electronic
equipment cannot be reused or
recycled if it isn't disposed of in this
manner.
·For more detailed information about
disposing of your old device, please
contact your local authority's refuse
centre or the original supplier of
theproduct.
Guarantee
·Without prejudice to any claim the
customer may have in relation to
the retailer, the customer is given a
manufacturer’s guarantee with the
terms and conditions set out below:
·This guarantee applies to new devices
purchased in the European Union. For
products sold in the United Kingdom
and in the Republic of Ireland, the
guarantee is issued by
Emporia UK and Ireland Limited,
1st Floor, Building 2 Croxley Business
Park, Watford, England.
·If a new device and/or its components
exhibit defects resulting from
manufacturing and/or material faults
within 12months of purchase, the
device will either be replaced with a
new, up-to-date device or repaired.
Forparts subject to wear and tear, such
as batteries, this guarantee is valid for
sixmonths from the date of purchase.
·This guarantee will not cover device
defects caused by improper care or
use and/or failure to comply with
information in the user guides provided.
·If you ever wish to invoke the
guarantee, you will need to present
your purchase receipt and the date of
your purchase as evidence.
