1. Before Getting Started
Please download and register the latest EBO HOME App from the App Store or Google Play.
When setting up Wi-Fi, please make sure the Wi-Fi name and password are correctly entered
without any spaces.
When not in use, please manually dock EBO X or let it return to its charging dock automatically.
If EBO X is moving on its own, please check if it has a scheduled task or if it's trying to return to
the dock due to low battery.
Use EBO X where there's a strong Wi-Fi signal. Unstable connections might cause delays or
disconnections.
Keep EBO X firmware updated to enjoy the latest features. Keep EBO X on its charging dock
during firmware updates.
EBO X is not drop-resistant. Please leave EBO X on the floor and avoid high surfaces
(like tables or chairs) to prevent damage from falling.
EBO X is not waterproof. Please keep EBO away from water sources.
2. Using the Charging Dock
Peel off the anti-slip adhesive from the dock's base. Place the dock flat against a wall, ensuring
it sits securely on the floor.
Please leave ample space around the dock for optimal auto-charging.

3. Mapping and Map Editing
To set up, please complete a full-house mapping to ensure proper security and auto-charging
functions. Note: mapping works best in well-lit conditions.
Please ensure EBO X begins on its dock, which should be on the floor.
If there are steps or doorframes higher than 7mm in your home, please close doors or manually
add barriers to prevent falling.
Do not map on soft carpets thicker than 5mm. Please add barriers around such carpeting to
prevent stalling.
Please clear the floor of wires or items that could trap the robot.
Before mapping:
Please avoid interfering with EBO X's movement or lifting it.
During mapping:

Minimize movement in EBO X's line of sight.
Please cover mirror-like surfaces, areas with direct sunlight, or non-reflective black materials,
as these areas may not be recognized during mapping.
Please remap if significant environmental changes occur, like moving furniture.
Update the charging dock's position in the App if it's moved.
When dividing room areas on the map, you can simply outline the central area of each room.
After mapping:
4. Auto-Charging
When battery level drops below 20%, EBO X will automatically return to the dock for charging,
and you will receive a notification through the App.
To avoid interference, please place the charging dock away from other devices with infrared
navigation.
If EBO X is far from the dock during auto-charge, it will use its map to reposition and plan its
route back to the dock.
Do not move the charging dock.

5. Night-time Use
If the lights on EBO X or the charging dock are too bright during nighttime, you can adjust the
brightness of EBO X's lights and turn off the atmosphere light on the dock using the App.
If EBO X's volume is too loud, you can adjust volume in the App.
For optimal visibility during nighttime, please navigate to the control page in the App and switch
to Night Mode.
